We have avoided Days Inn motels for quite some time, so when the other motels were booked up in York, Nebraska we were hesitant about this one. We tried it and surprise! it was clean, smelled clean, the day manager was very pleasant and accomodating and the price was very reasonable. The breakfast bar was basic, no frills, but satisfactory. My husband and I were very pleased with the service of the desk clerk during our stay. When we first checked in there was a mixup with the room but it was quickly resolved. 1. Big hole in blanket. Had to ask for a different blanket. 2. Coffee pot hadn't been cleaned out. 3. No air conditioning in the swimming pool area. Too hot and humid to enjoy the indoor pool. 4. We received good service at a mediocre hotel. The breakfast room features three small tables and is exceptionally cramped. However, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. "Beware"
We paid more for this 2 star hotel than the one down the street. We have generally been pleased with this brand in the past, so we were hoping for a better experience here. "Days Inn - Don't bother"
The best thing asout this stay was the pizza place in town. The hotel smelled weird, the air conditioner made a lot of noise, as did the bathroom fan. Overall was not kept up well. My only complaint was that the a/c did not get cold enough. It was a very hot weekend in York, so the a/c was probably struggling. The wifi internet was very fast.
