I just want to say that the days inn is always a nice place to stay always quiet very convenient location very affordable me and my girlfriend usually to the one in poughkeepsie once or twice during thr year just to get away and we really enjoy it

Stayed here for a business trip. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. The provide free passes for a gym down to road, which was a big plus for me. The continental breakfast was not too great, but it was free. Would stay here again.

Not sure if this is a 3 star hotel. As I first entered the small elevator, I thought maybe they didn't have the money to upgrade. The room smelt stale as I walked in so I had to turn on the a/c and open a window. My biggest gripe was the bathroom tub wasn't as nice as I expected it to be. The metal ring around the tub faucet was missing so when I was […] taking a bath I thought about the dirtiness of the faucet while I was tring to get clean. Then there is the handle bar placement phenomenon, too far away on the front side wall of the tub that i really didn't need it anymore once I got up. While going to the bathroom, I coulnt find the toilet paper since it was they were located behind the door, but if you close the door the room was too small and dark that it felt old and creepy. Overall a safe place but it didn't give you that sense of feeling like home...comfort and relaxation. Read more

well...until I found a cock roach under the bath room floor rug everything was nice. Also when I wanted to find how many miles it was from the hotel to my destination, it supplied mis information by referencing "as a crow flies" .....it was twice the distance by roads and in the future I will double check by map.

Can not give a true objective opinion as this was just a stopover on our way home. Cracker Barrel is a short walk and gas station/convenience store is across the street. I-84 is less than 1 mile away with very easy access.

Nice continental breakfast with HOMEMADE WAFFLES (you make yourself), although served in a very small room. Bathroom (containing tub and toilet) VERY SMALL.....sink out in room. It was fine for our one-nite stay in Poughkeepsie to tour Marist. Friendly staff.

Lobby and hallways seemed grim, but once in the room I was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean and comfortable, beds and linens were great, place was quiet and secure, next to a busy freeway but never heard a thing. Great value for the money - I would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at the Days Inn in Fishkill, NY while we were in town for a wedding. The hotel was nice and clean and the beds were VERY comfortable. The continental breakfast was nice, although a little protein added to the menu might have been nice. I would definitely stay there again should the need arise.

Tv cable was disconnected and had not connector. Moved to a second room. Smoke alarm chirped irregularly all night. Large mustard yellow stain(?) on lower side of toilet. Very low price partly mitigates issues.

Great hotel to stay in. Here in the area for work and had only made reservations for 3 nights. When I found out I was staying for about 2 weeks, the staff was very nice and helped me extend my stay. The only thing is that the carpets are a little dirty. Need to clean the carpets with a carpet machine on occassion. Carpet in room was dirty. Needs a good vacuuming. Called the front desk to cancel my reservation for the next day, but the reservation was still active when I checked-out the next morning. The sink was positioned outside of the bathroom...a bit of an inconvenience.

The room was a cheerfully plush pick-me-up after a long drive. Front desk staff were very helpful picking a room near the entrance so I wouldn't further injure my knee with walking a lot. Breakfast fruit went fast!

You can't beat the price of this hotel. We had an overnight stay there and it filled the bill, plus there's a nice free breakfast included. It's not the prettiest hotel from the exterior but the rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable, plus free internet, mini fridge and microwave.
