Room was small (door hit the bed as it opened), but it was clean and comfortable. Quiet. Bathroom had a bad smell. Very close to the train station and airport bus pickup. Grocery stores, cafes, and shops nearby; short walk to the main Luxembourg attractions. Free luggage room.

Although rooms in Ibis are small, they are very nice and clean. Breakfast was great and the coffee and tea offered during the day and evening is a nice touch. Staff was very helpful with tips regarding sightseeing and general directions. The hotel desk clerk who checked us in was so helpful during our visit to Luxumborg. The Breakfast was great! The room was clean but very small as was the bathroom. Location very convenient to train station but not too many good places to eat....kind of a "party" (bar) area although it felt safe.

This hotel is within sight of the central train station - very convenient. The train station neighborhood isn't great but if you use your street smarts, you shouldn't have any trouble. The room was very small but clean and had plenty of natural light. Breakfast was included even though our booking information said it wasn't.

The hotel: it is in a great location- it's about 2 mins walk from Luxembourg Train Station- From outside the train station, you can take the bus (1.50 Euros) unlimited rides to the Old City of Luxembourg, it takes about 5 mins . We had a bag stolen in the Lobby during check in. It was quite and late at night. The porter sent us to a police station which was closed to report the theft. The check out staff the next day were similarly unconcerned. The police when we finally tracked them down were not at all suprised and suggested that this street was best avoided.

Wins on location - proximity to train station and therefore don't have to haul your backpack up the hill into the old city. There are a couple strip clubs next door but they are not openly on the street enticing people in and I found no issues with them there. Hotel is located on Rue de Joseph Junck which is directly across the street from the train station, so perfect from an access perspective. The lady at the front counter was cold and not welcome. We were given the wrong keys at first, I had to go down stairs to get the right pair. They spoke in a language I didn't understand, I assume they said they were the wrong keys. The lady gave me another pair, I asked if they will work as the door was pretty old, and hard to swipe. Rooms were small, but overall a great place to stay for a couple of nights at the most. I stayed for one night, it was perfect. Not the best place of town, and I wouldn't recommend it for a family. Our room was on the inside of the building so the outlook was not great but the window could be opened and fresh air in the room was nice. Over all I would recommend this Hotel as very good value for money. It is a convenient location near to the Station. There are a few colourful characters around. I think there may have been a few ladies of the night in evidence, but in no way did we feel threatened.

The hotel was really close to the train station, ideal location. You can easily walk to the centre or old town. There are many shops near by and a super market too. This hotel is an easy five minute walk from the train station and 15 min walk to downtown! It is very clean bright! The block the hotel redised on was under a massive amout of contstruction which made our access limited... but it temporary and I am sure will be amazing once it is all complete!
