Very Enjoyable overall. Bathroom could use a good caulking and TV was only 37", in poor viewing location and very small for the size of the King room; we watched my laptop on the bed instead. Very Clean. Comfortable, spacious. Located right near main traffic veins. Don;t get confused by the one way streets ;)

Absoulutely loved my six night stay at this hotel. Everything I needed was within a two mile radius. The West Edmonton Mall, Walmart, amazing restaurants and Denny's across the street. The food at the hotel was very good and we enjoyed room service many times. Best trip to Edmonton yet !

I've been staying at this property on and off for a few years, it offers a good value for the dollar and if you have been traveliong to Edmonton for some time you will know that hotel rates have gone up 25/30% over the past 2 years, add to that the shift in the exchange rate and your time in Edmonton is getting expensive. The good news is that they […] have been refurnishing and up garding the rooms with new bedes, TV's and remodeled baths, the bad news is that you may hae to put up with the noise of the demolition during the day and into the early evening. This hotel was very close to everthing one would need..of course the West Edmonton Mall. I have not slept well in months, and finally got some sleep in the quietness of my room. This 2 night stay at this hotel was very good. Breakfast was ample, with a pitcher of coffee included. Wi-fi worked great, big 37 inch LCD, very clean room, and noise levels were ok, although we did hear the kids from the above room running around (despite that this a concrete building). Only thing missing is a pool, but then again, go to West Edmonton […] Mall for that enjoyment. It was close to the WEM - too close! Lots of traffic!! Hard to access from the west or south streets. The room was fine; clean sheets, spacious. LOTS of families with kids - noisy until 10:00pm.

Hotel lobby is nice and impressive but it all goes down hill from there. Apparently a 3 star hotel, but by who's standards I don't know. Best thing about hotel is location, Edmonton mall for spring break close by. Hotel was under going renovations on a different floor when we were there, hopefully they do all floors because rooms, hallway are definitely […] OLD! Rooms are run down, hard beds and pillows,broken t.v. remotes, bad satellite reception, dirty and over used. Asked for clean sheets upon third night of stay due to spilled pop but found that night that our request was IGNORED! Hotel had several entrances but we found most did NOT work. To top it off our continental breakfast included in our three night stay was a real joke. Breakfast bar included 6 different cold cereals, dried out dead fruit, and dried out bread and bagels...THATS IT. When hungry kids won't eat it you know its BAD. Lots of other hotels close by wouldn't try this again, my feeling is that with the price these hotels charge us and all the compititon, they need to start "upping their scales", starting with basic cleanliness and then something to make us chose them over someone else. to much Construction, saw food trays in the hall for 3 days, Room was ok nothing great, For the money ,I thought you would get better! Bar was way to much MOney! Cheaper going out, Pasta food at Bar was bad! Fish was good! Better going out!

Had a seminar in this hotel so decided to stay for convenience. Beautiful lobby, good location, clean comfortable room. Pretty standard and pleasing. Then I was woken by housekeeping at 8:20 am, no I did not have the DND card in. Then again I got a knock at 10:15 asking if I was checking out today. Then a 3rd time at 11:10! We chose this hotel for their cleanliness and "pet policy" along with convenient location, this was our fourth stay in as many months and by far the most unimpressive. Upon checking in we discovered the pet policy was no longer "per stay" and now per night per pet. Then we were given the room right beside an outside door very loud could hear door open […] and close constantly along with what ever was happening outside like vehicles starting etc. Our last night stay was very uncomfortable we were awaken in the middle of the night by loud voices in the hallway which escalated into a fight between several people and continued from the hallway to outside the exit door and continued off and on for several hours. Needless to say we got very little rest. We contacted the front desk about getting a late checkout which I must say they seemed to be very happy to accommodate. I must say the one constant with our stay was the excellent service from the front desk staff. This hotel will be a consideration in our next stay, but will consider others as well. Read more

Had another great stay at this hotel and love how close it is to the west edmonton mall.My only negative comment would be that there are two hot tubs and the same one was out of order for the second year in a row while the only useable hot tub had no working jets ,again since last year, and I got a horrible rash from the chemicals.

The biggest flaw in this huge hotel for us was general access to our room...which in the midst of an Edmonton WINTER, especially, is quiteunacceptable. In the middle of Winter- very , very cold,snowy and icy- our room was on the far end of the hotel, adjacent to the "executive/1st-class Royals " section...a door was there in the parking lot we were […] not "allowed " to access which could have let us up to our room and floor quite easily. Instead, we had to go around to the front of the hotel entrance, through the lobby up the elevator and down 3 seperate LONG corridors before we could reach our room...where we could see where we were parked ( and the EXCEEDINGLY near "executive " entrance ) from our room window. The set-up of the corridor space is also not very welcoming, as the hotel is used for banquets and meetings - which were in full swing when we got there- hotel patrons seem to be made to creep along the walls as second-class clientele Read more

The hotel was nice and room was comfortable. The bed was very nice and the hallways were unique and looked cool. Wished they had a complimentary breakfast so if I brought kids I would choose different hotel.
