"Comfy room to share with Friends"
Lots to see and do within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was very helpful with any requests we had. The 2 bedroom suite was a great value, and the kitchen was stocked with most everything we needed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

It was a nice place to stay. Nothing spectacular but clean and quiet, I would stay againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent Short Stay"
I booked the suite at the Park Lane Suites and Inn for a weekend. Staff members were very nice and welcoming during check-in and my stay there. The suite has a kitchen (generously equipped with utensils) which included a microwave, stovetops, refrigerator, sink, and dishwashing machine. The kitchen is great if you have leftovers or want to make your […] own meals. The only thing that was not so great was the cleanliness of the room. I found strands of hair on the pillow cases. Some of the towels in the bathroom didn't look very clean. The plumbing system seemed a little bit off because the water did not drain as fast in the shower. Overall, I enjoyed my stay because of the location of the inn - good walking distances to a lot of restaurants and reasonable driving distances to other locations. "Good Stay. No Frills."
A 90 second check in. So good! I liked it. I could hear the hi-heels of the upstairs check in which was a little crazy but not too much. We walked to Powell's Books. It was a good hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Snow in PDX"
Arrived during snowstorm. Did not bother with rental car and managed to take Max from Airport to Providence/JELD-WEN park...then walk to hotel. Not get much business got done. But wandered around the neighborhood on foot and managed to eat well at local restaurants. Within easy walk to several grocery stores making the kitchen very useful. "An interesting part of Portland that is not normally encountered"
Diamond in the roughGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We were stuck at the hotel room for a day due to snow & ice. Therefore, we upgraded from the regular room to the suite. It made our stay even better as we could spread out and work on business. We were able to walk to the Trimet Maxx and take train to see family in Beaverton as well as walk to restaurants on NW 21 & 23rd. Love that whole area. Downtown […] is convenient as well. The hotel concierge were the kindest, caring people who made our stay wonderful. Thank you! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This gets a resounding "Meh". I went out during the big February winter storm and was snowed in for a week. Had I been in a suite, it may have not been so bad, but I was in the inn. No fridge, no microwave, no way to heat the leftovers we had to eat because of the lack of being able to go out. I could beat the lack of fridge because it was so cold I […] could just set my drinks out on the walkway for 20 minutes. The front desk was helpful. Overall, I'd go back there if I could get a suite or if I got a really killer deal. As it stands, probably not again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Great Stay"
We stayed during an intense snow storm and immediately were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen. This made our stay amazing as we were snowed in with a 7 month old and having a kitchen was a blessing! I love how the provided toiletries were organic as well as the oatmeal. The room was very clean, staff was extremely nice, and there were great […] reastairants within walking distance. I would stay here again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent Place to Stay"
Park Lane Suites was just as we expected: Nothing fancy, but perfectly adequate. There was always coffee, tea, fresh fruit, and cookies in the main building, which was all very appreciated. We were there during a rare bout of snow and ice, so the walk up that steep driveway was treacherous, but we managed. There's a bus stop just around the corner, […] so it was a convenient location for us tourists. Walgreen's, coffee & breakfast joints nearby, as well. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient and clean"
This place had everything I needed, and nothing that I didn't, really. It's basic, but it does that very well - everything was clean, I was in a safe neighborhood walkable to all of downtown, there was good water pressure (on the second floor of the second building, across the street from the main lobby), and the towels were thick, fluffy, and not […] scratchy. It's a great option in Portland. Love the free parking!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
As everyone has said, for the price this hotel was in a great location. The rooms were basic and spelt like bleach so at least we know it was clean. The walls are paper thin so we could hear everything going on around us. No tub at the Inn. All in all pretty decent hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The pots and pans in the room looked used and unclean. I dropped something between the wall and mattress, I pulled the mattress out just enough to get what I had dropped and I was horrified by what I saw. There was so much dirt and dust and a used tooth brush that looked like it had been there for years and was covered in dust. I asked the front desk […] for an extra car tag for the two cars we had during only 2 nights the stay, her response was absolutely unacceptable and extremely rude. She started by saying "are you kidding me" Then turning around grabed a tag and said "here, we usually only give one so if you leave and here is no spot too bad." I was very disappointed with how I was treated and the cleanliness of the rooms. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Located within walking distance of Pioneer square (about 15 minutes), it is very basic (coffee in lobby only but very clean, with excellent beds and the front desk clerks were efficient and nice. "Nice location - good price"
This is an older hotel in a nice area of Portland - walking distance to parks, shopping, retaurants and downtown Portland. We stayed in a roomy suite with a large living area, king bed and kitchenette and a large bathroom. Not very upscale but comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. I stayed at this hotel in a suite with a friend and we thought it was great to have a kitchen of our own. It feels a little outdated, but everything was neat and clean. The only thing that bothered us, was that the shower made a horrible noise whenever we turned it on. Overall, it's in a great location, near a main road with shops and restaurants.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, convenient, good price."
Stayed in the "motel" part (not the suites) 3 nights. Appreciated hardwood floors, clean room, and simple decor. Reasonably quiet. Nice, helpful staff. Easy walk & bus to shopping, restaurants, etc. What's not to like??!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent Place not too far from DT"
I would say the service was really good. The employees were super friendly. I called in to see if my room could be ready early, day of, and it was all prepared when I arrived! I was also able to leave my bags check out day because I had a late flight. The condition of the place was decent, nothing fancy but nothing gross. It definitely doesn't look […] as nice as the pictures but the price is hard to beat. It's easy to get to places via bus, MAX, and walking. Like a 15-20 minute walk to DT (depending what part of DT you're trying to get to). The buses are really close though, so you could just hop on that! I didn't get 2 queen sized beds like I requested, but since I got my room early...I can't complain. The pull out sofabed was a bit lumpy and sunk in the middle, but it wasn't bad. The curtains facing the parking lot need to pull all the way though, it definitely let in too much light. And the heater was super noisy. I'd still recommend this place, especially for the great price and service. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Peaceful stay, charming neighborhood!"
The hotel was clean, well-maintained and my stay was very peaceful. I came for an extended weekend to work on a book I am writing; this hotel was perfect for it. I'd return again anytime. "No frills, but clean and convenient"
This hotel was just as the reviews had promised: it was clean and frill-free. The room had been updated, and everything was shiny and well taken care of. The only problems I had were with the forced air blowing heater at the window that cycled on and off noisily, and the too-light blanket on the bed. I solved the former by turning the heater off to […] sleep, and solved the latter after I woke up shivering at 1am by removing the blanket from the other bed and piling it on top of me. We stopped by for a nights rest along our road trip to Canada. Very clean and friendly service. Parking was a little tight and elevators were tiny but nothing too bad. I enjoyed my over all stay and would not mind staying again. ThanksGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what we expected"
Website and hotel don't match at all. This was more of a glorified apartment building. No amenities to speak of. Not really close to anything...no blankets. The telephone was straight out of the 80s...couldn't wait to leave.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful skyline view, cityscape & Mt. Hood."
Nice. Would stay here again. Close to downtown. We had top floor corner unit, great view to the east. Plenty of room for 5 adults - 2 bedroom plus sleeper sofa in living room, nice kitchen too. Wonderful staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My wife got this room because she wanted a kitchenette to be able to make dinner instead of eating at a restaurant. I thought it was very noisy as the people across the street have a dog that barked at every person who got out of their vehicle in the parking lot or walked down the street. This happened for several hours. So unless you are completely […] exhausted, and aren't paying attention to the world around you when you return to your room, you may very well experience this same neighborhood greeting. Nothing fancy, but fantastic for the price. Our room was clean, conveniently located (short walk to the bus/metro), good heat/AC/fan, and has free parking and wi-fi. We went to stay for one night for our anniversary. I was chatting with the concierge and mentioned this and he upgraded us from an Inn room to a suite with a beautiful room. "Spartan but loved"
We stayed at the "Inn" portion of Park Lane. Arguably the rooms are a bit spartan but they have obviously been lovingly and carefully designed and maintained. Very very clean with a very nice shower. "A lot to like, despite some serious flaws"
My wife and I are former Portlanders and we had stayed at the Park Lane Inn before and found it acceptable. There really is a lot to like. We liked the free parking (we didn't need it this time), nice basic shower, and excellent location for a family or a couple (NW 23rd Ave. is a nice upscale shopping street that many Portlanders consider a little […] snobby/pretentious, but which out-of-towners generally enjoy), and we liked their high-quality toiletries; so we didn't hesitate to stay a second time. But this time around we saw some flaws that had previously gone unnoticed. The bed was very uncomfortable and low-quality - I mean springy and too soft, the kind of thing that would be okay for a guest bedroom that rarely gets used, but not for a hotel. And the lack of a headboard meant our pillows kept slipping behind the bed. We also didn't like the lack of service to our room. We would get no service if we left after 11:00 or so, and sometimes the room would only get half-cleaned. When the bed wasn't made one day, a note was left saying, "we couldn't make your bed because your laptop was on the bed." I think the Park Lane Suites is a nice hotel and that their "Inn" is just not on the same level. The price is decent, but for my money I would rather stay in a better hotel near the convention center and suffer the inferior neighborhood instead of getting an uncomfortable bed and spotty housekeeping near Nob Hill. "Not quite what it appears..."
The room was clean, but the ultra-modern fun furnishings did little to compensate for the coldness of the room and the horrid acoustics. No sound insulation from door to door, or floor to floor -- we could actually hear "Mike" and "Diane" above us... to fault of their own. The location is nice and we liked the overall concept... but the lack of some […] sort of rug in the room, was very cold and added to the sound effects. We also were locked out of our room -- the card key lock was not functioning and we were let in by the Manager several times and were told, had we stayed another day, they would have upgraded us to another and better room... hmmm. Won't stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Lipstick on a pig."
This is simply an old, run-down hotel with a fresh coat of paint with cheap Ikea fixtures and faux-wood floors to try and dress it up. It was so fake I chuckled to myself when I walked in. The only positive was the location to 21st street bars and restaurants. Worth only about half of the $100/night I paid.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Works for me!"
No chair/desk/table in room. So it's kinda hard to eat in the room. Great location. Front desk people are nice. No tubs only shower. Motel like...don't get your hopes up. "in need of an update"
Have stayed in the "inn" part of the hotel several times. This was our first time in the suites. Unlike the inn across the street, our room was in dire need of an update.
