"Close to Sights, bad WiFi, horrible water pressure"
The location of hotel was excellent since it is very close to blue and red train lines and bus lines on Burnside. The WIFI however was pretty much non existent even though they give you a password and 4g was spotty. The bed was comfy but horrible water pressure!! The hotel check in is actually across the street if you stay in the Inn so this makes it […] inconvenient to check in and out and get the morning mediocre coffee. Overall I would recommend this hotel due to price and location but good be a little better on small perks like wifi and water pressure. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location !"
The rooms are renovated and very clean. The room sizes are a bit small, but overall they were very comfortable. I really enjoyed the location too. It was close to public transportation, and etc.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Park Lane Suites -Nice Basic Room in Good Location"
Fairly close to TriMet stops and parking if you have a car. Pleasant lobby with coffee, cookies and fruit available. Nice clean basic room. Location good with public transit (bus or train ) nearby. Nice quiet neighborhood. Also near beautiful Washington Park. Good experience, good value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best deal near downtown Portland"
Overall, a very clean, quiet room. A couple of cleaning rags had been left in one of the chairs but otherwise, very clean. The bed was comfortable enough. Walls are thin but once I turned on the fan in the room, I couldn't hear any outside noise. Staff at desk was friendly and helpful. Laundry machines on site were nice to have. Would maybe try to stay […] in one of the rooms in the main part of the hotel to see if the walls were thicker. But I loved the decorations in the room and even the shower was really neat. A unique place to stay and within walking distance to Powell's books and two coffee places just a block or so away. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location for visiting artists"
This is the second time I have booked this NYC musician in to Park Lane. He loved the NW 21st & 23rd scene and walked to Jimmy Mak's where he performed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wonderful service, great staff, terrific location"
I had a wonderful two-night stay at Park Lane Suites and Inn and recommend it wholeheartedly. Charles, the front-desk clerk, was very helpful and went out of his way to suggest places for me to visit and how to best get there. The suite was very nice, the bed comfortable, and the various amenities perfect. I especially enjoyed the complimentary Umpqua […] oatmeal. A great place to stay! "close to Japanese Garden"
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Lobby offers coffee and snacks with cozy chairs. Location was a bit far from downtown but Portland is a walking city and streetcar line is a 10 minute walk from the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely and Quaint Hotel"
This hotel is extremely convenient to downtown. You can walk to shops, restaurants, etc. But there is also plenty of parking, a rarity in downtown Portland. Our room was extremely clean and very comfortable. Would highly recommend Park Lane.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was old and run down.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The location of the hotel is great for seeing the sites in Portland. Close to a great area to have dinner in the evening as well as having Washington Park a few blocks away to enjoy. Clean rooms and a very helpful staff and also enjoyed having the full kitchen as well as the complementary oatmeal, juice and coffee for the first morning. Traders Joes […] close by if needed. "Great Place to Stay"
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Free parking and walking distance to downtown restaurants and light rail. My family will look forward to another stay at Park Lane.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Location, location, location!"
This is our second year for vacationing in Portland and our second year at the Park Lane Suites. The property seems older yet is pretty well maintained and comfortable. We LOVE the location, the proximity to Washington Park and the Nob Hill/Alphabet District neighborhood. The housekeeping was a little sketchy. On the basic stuff - clean towels, bed […] made, etc. - it was fine. The smaller details - replenishment of dishwasher soap, complimentary toiletries, a pen in the desk - could use some attention. Overall, a terrific, quiet place to stay. We'll definitely stay here again next year and recommend it to our family and friends. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Bestt buy in great location"
Very affordable hotel in great location. Room was clean, efficient. Staff very pleasant, helpful. Nice lobby with coffee, tea, cookies available all hours. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Two minutes to public transportation; no need for a car. Would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"this was a great budget-reasonable place"
The room was a bit spartan, but modern and exceptionally clean. If your planning to be lounging in your room, go somewhere else, but if you plan to see the best of Portland this place is budget-friendly and close to public transit and just about anything you would want to see. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect for an on the go couple"
I was skeptical at first, but was actually pleasantly surprised. It's not a fancy hotel by any means. But it was exactly what we needed, a clean place to sleep. The rooms were simple and the location was perfect!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was delightful EXCEPT the corners of the bed nearly killed us! They stick out and are very hard. We each hit our knees, shins, and toes (3x's for each of us) . Please think about some padding!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hard to find"
My stay was nice once I found the hotel. I passed it once as the street is a little hard to locate if you are coming from the park instead of the city. However it is in a quiet neighborhood though near main streets. Very near the Rose Test Garden. We stayed in the unit across the street from the main hotel which meant having to cross the street to use […] their computer to get boarding tickets and made the coffee, fruit, etc. in the lobby inaccessible. There was a nice view of the city and on a clear day we could have probably seen Mount Hood but it was not clear. The bed had sharp corners on the frame that stuck out. I hit my shins more than once. "Would not stay here until upgraded"
Checked in past midnight with a complimentary upgrade from single queen inn room to studio suite, how nice, but not really.. This suite had a toilet that leaked, which they fixed pretty fast. Then the fridge didn't work so they brought in a mini fridge (they never came back to fix the original fridge). The tv channels didn't work using the channel + […] and - buttons because of bad programming, but they fixed this. The AC didn't work on the hottest day of the week when I needed it most. The man actually told me a sob story about how he already knew about the AC problem in this room but that no one was willing to do anything about it. They offered to change rooms the next night but the temperature got cooler. One night a car double parked right in front of my room and the front desk man (without even trying) gave me so many different excuses about how looooong it would take to track down the person to ask them to move the car and how there would be sooo many different factors, but how would you know even before trying? I will point out that he gave up his parking space for me, which was the next space over. Wow... what an experience.. too bad my week long stay here was already prepaid else I would have stayed somewhere else. Overall I survived... the front desk, housekeeping and maintenance were all pretty helpful and did the best with what they had but this place is a major dump and needs a major upgrade. "Good location, good prices, nice room"
I booked this room after seeing the great reviews from hotels.com but then saw some scary reviews on yelp and thought I'd take the chance. It turned out great! The room was clean and newly renovated, they gave us great service and I enjoyed my share of pepperidge farm cookies. The only bad thing is we could hear the person walking around above us in […] the morning but fortunately that didn't bother us much. So overall a great stay! "Great place...one downfall"
We stayed in one of the rooms of the Inn. The concierge was nice and helpful. The grounds were nice and the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The location is perfect; walking distance to the shops and restaurants on 23rd street. The one downfall is the somewhat thin walls. We didn't have a problem with hearing neighbors. I'm assuming it […] was the cleaning crew at early hours of the morning. I just didn't enjoy waking up to clomping footsteps that sounded more like pacing rather than quietly cleaning. So if you can sleep through anything (like apparently my husband can) this is great place to stay! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Back for a second stay?"
We liked Portland, so we returned. Neat neighborhood.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was reasonably priced, clean and ideally located, at least for me. Washinton Park, a beautiful and challenging place to walk, is close by as are unique shops and inviting restaurants as well as a fabulous mostly-organic grocery store. "We stay here whenever we're in Portland"
We have a daughter in college in Portland so we stay here when we drop her off and pick her up for school. We usually stay several days and are familiar with the area around the hotel. It is a bit of a walk to the downtown area on a very busy street (and not the prettiest) but my husband and I like going for walks so we don't mind. We appreciate the […] free parking and the hotel is always clean with a friendly staff. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location. Easy access to parks, districts and public transit. Don't really need a car. Stayed at suite for 4 days with toddler. Having a kitchen with utensils, pans & basic supplies was very useful. Overall very comfortable stay and a great vacation.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Spacious and a good location."
The price was good and the accomodations even better. Close to downtown and a short walk to dinning, I would stay here again. Very friendly staffGenuine Hotels.com guest review
So quiet and clean! I will remember to bring a blow dryer and iron next time. Missed a coffee maker, but coffee shops abound in Portland. We would stay there again no doubt. Very nice staff people.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location to Nob Hill sights and downtown"
This hotel is conveniently located to the Nob Hill neighborhood with most restaurants and shops of 21st and 23rd ave within walking distance. About 3/4 of a mile away from some decent places to eat and a little distance from downtown, but still somewhat close, with dedicated parking. The suite was large and it was tidy, and a bit more quiet than what I'm used to when booking with Hotels.com. The price was significantly less than hotels in better locations, but it was still striking distance […] from all of Portland, so overall I was quite satisfied. "You get what you pay for"
We stayed at the Inn, not the Suites so this review reflects these rooms. They felt motel like, but for what we paid, there could be no complaints. The shower was horrendous-a slow trickle when hot water was on. the bed amd the room were sufficient. Freecoffee/tea in the morning with a frienfly and helpful staff. The hotel is further from downtown but […] within walking distance. It was close to Washington Park and some restaurants/bars on 21st. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I had a great experience here, especially for the price. It is only about a fifteen minute walk from downtown and the shops and restaurants on 23rd street are a very short walk away. In fact, we probably wouldn't have seen that part of the city had we stayed downtown. I stayed here with one of my girlfriends and we walked home one night and felt completely […] safe. The staff was extremely accommodating and the rooms were clean. The only thing was that it was not right in the middle of downtown but considering the price difference, it was close enough. "Tailgate part in the parking lot"
Normal stay, The rooms were modest to say the least but clean and comfortable. My issue was that parking is very tight here and on the night of our stay their was a Soccer match (timbers) and this hotel is close to the stadium. A very large RV pulled in sideways and took up 5 spaces, and they set up tents and had a catering company come and they parked […] and took up 5 spaces and blocked the parking entrance. Needless to say if you park off site the parking rates were $15-$25 and 5-10 blocks way. I rented a Yukon so not the most nimble car. I was able to squeeze backwards into a spot after entering through the exit. I am not sure if this is normal for them to do or a one time thing but I would check the timbers schedule before you stay here. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't Judge a Book by its cover!"
When we first got to the Park Lane, my wife and I weren't sure what to expect. It's an older (60's era) motel that has been remodeled for the present. It's not the most stylish place on the outside, but it does have a certain charm. We ended being thrilled with our stay though; it's a great location (close to the Test Rose Gardens, Powell's, and a MAX […] stop) and the suite setup was perfect for a family. There was a separate room for our kids, a small, but nicely furnished kitchenette, and a good complimentary breakfast. The staff is also very helpful and even found and Fedexed our passports to us when we mistakenly left them behind! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to the action"
This is a comfortable and convenient hotel located a few blocks away from the ballpark, attractions at Washington Park, and the shops and restaurants along 23rd and 21st. This Inn is everything an Inn should be. Neat and clean. Comfortable. There are several stores nearby if you need to stock your room fridge. Close to shopping and restaurants on 21st street. If you are a soccer fan you can walk to the stadium which is only 2 or 3 blocks away. Close to Portlands excellent light rail system ( we didn't have a car while […] there and had no trouble getting anywhere in the city including the airport.) It is quite hilly around the Inn so be prepared to climb some really steep but beautiful hills. This Inn was perfect for us. We loved our stay in Portland and plan to visit again. "Small clean and functional"
Decent downtown location. We were in "The Inn" across the street from the main building -- appears to be remodeled motel. Rooms are small but redecorated and very clean and tastefully furnished. "Great. Just outside the downtown area"
This is easy to reach by car. You can go down to the soccer stadium and take a streetcar from there. Not far from downtown Portland. The Hotel is inside two different buildings with free parking outside and all the amenities included. The staff is very helpful and they are doing their job very well indeed.Genuine Expedia guest review
This is about the fourth or fifth time we've stayed at this funky gem of a hotel. The location is fabulous if you're inclined to wander NW Portland or head down the block to catch a Timbers game. We always pay a bit more for the suite and it's worth it for the convenience (and what you can save on coffee). The walls can be a bit thin if you're the quiet […] type, but the beds are comfy and the location unbeatable. The only thing I would improve would be the parking, but hey we're from the Bay Area so what's a 1/2 block jaunt once you're unloaded.... Go there! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good place for basing your stay"
On paper we were apprehensive about how far it would be to the Max or to the bus, but it turned out to be a non-issue (except for the 4-block uphill walk pulling luggagefrom the Max to Park Lane). But once free of luggage, the Max was close enough and the busline on Burnside was only 1 1/2 blocks.Genuine Expedia guest review
