"Not bad for the price"
The hotel was a renovated motel. The beds were comfortable. The suite had a kitchen with coffee and oatmeal. The price was reasonable. 10 minute walk to the tram.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"quick trip to Portland for 2 nights"
This hotel (or Inn?) is ok. Front desk stuff was very helpful and friendly. In-hotel services were very limited (only one old dispenser for drinks). however location is the plus point ... it's very close to Amtrak station, downtown, bunch of restaurants and stores.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not far from downtown and the park, nice room."
Nice and clean room. Welcoming staff. No bath tube in the bathroom, only a shower.Genuine Expedia guest review
Every concierge we interacted with was awesome! They were all extremely helpful and polite. I would highly recommend staying here. Great location and great suites.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was very impressed with the Inn. The room was very comfortable, clean, and had several conveniences like a little kitchen that had plates & silverware. I liked that there was free parking & we were able to walk into the downtown area. The staff were also very helpful and kind.Genuine Expedia guest review
Not much from the outside but the room was very clean.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A little noisy"
The room was very confortable and Clean. The only thing is that we were in first floor and you can hear people walking in the room above yours. So if you are a light sleeper, maybe it could be a problem.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good value for money"
Ended up in a nice suite in the main building. Large seating area.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very convienent location"
This is a great little boutique hotel for a short stay in downtown Portland. Unfortunately, for us the beds are a bit stiff and the water pressure in our room was less than what we would say is good but the kitchenette is a nice feature. Despite these minor dislikes we would probably stay here again if/when any future projects are in this area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, affordable, convenient"
A very affordable place to stay within walking distance of downtown. Kitchen was serviceable (be sure to ask the front desk for kitchen knives etc if you are planning on doing your own cooking), the suite was spacious and comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice hotel, great value for the money, good location to downtown, public transportation and the conference center. Decent size suit with 2 BR, very friendly personnel. I would go directly to this hotel, if I ever have to travel to Portland again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Fair price for quality of room. It was in a good location and recently remodeled.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Super close to downtown!"
Have stayed here many times and will again. You can't beat the value and location. Super clean rooms and easy walking distance to everything.Genuine Expedia guest review
Pleasant experience. Very nice staff and an all around good hotel. Very convenient location to downtown without the $200+ rates of most hotels nearby.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A block from the Alphabet District!"
Clean, comfortable hotel with free parking close to great food, entertainment, and microbrews. Will definitely stay again!Genuine Expedia guest review
Stayed one night and was updated from one bedroom to suite due to no availity when we got there. Was a cute room, nice and cozy.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to downtown Portland"
The hotel is an old motel. It can seem a bit sketchy walking down some of the streets and even to your hotel room. Its about 20 min walk to the restaurants in the area.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Motel at hotel prices"
I travel a lot for work and have had my fair share of good and bad hotels. Unfortunately this hotel was not a good one in my books. I arrived late at night (past 10) due to a delayed flight so was already tired and not in a great mood. Was given a room on the ground floor in the "inn" side and as soon as I opened the door I was disappointed with the […] room based on the price I paid. While the room itself was remodeled and tried to give off a "modern" vibe, the doors, windows and overall building were poor, and there wasn't even a dead bolt or chain on the door. As a young female did not feel comfortable in the room, esp being on the ground floor. The bathroom was not super clean (found multiple dark hairs around the shower/sink), and the towels did not smell clean. Bed was ok but found a dead bug in the sheets (not sure what kind of bug it was, but spent the rest of the night being paranoid it was a bed bug). Due to the poor building sound echos and you can hear everyone walking thus my sleep was terrible. Location wise was ok- did not feel unsafe parking my car or that the area was bad. They do not have a full breakfast but do offer tea, coffee and cookies/fruit in the lobby. Check in/out was easy, staff was friendly. Overall was not impressed and would not recommended this hotel to others- it is worth paying an extra $30 or $40 to be in a better, cleaner, nicer downtown hotel. After reading the reviews, I thought this would be an okay place for a one night stay for business in Portland. What a huge mistake! I'm not sure if it's always like this, but my personal experience was that there were so many noisy people in the hotel, I could not sleep. My neighbors below me kept me up until 2:30 even after calling the front desk […] 3 times. I could hear everything, literally, that was happening downstairs. The front desk sent someone there to talk to them multiple times, with no effect. The room was bare, not warm and comfortable, but if you are wanting a party place, this would be the spot. "Nice hotel close to Providence Park and MAX."
Its 1h from PDX using MAX which is public transportation. Our room looked brand new. Wifi wasn't too bad. No fridge, no microwave.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location if you like to walk"
Many points of interest are within walking distance - Washington Park, downtown, the river (30 minutes one way), etc. It's also nice that 3 parking lots are available, but the spaces are small and can become scarce at times. While the bedroom and bathroom are relatively updated, the kitchen and living room are not. The carpet is dirty and the kitchen […] very small. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Easy check-in and check-out. I liked the fact that parking and wi-fi were free during my stay. Great location for shops and cafes. I would stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel, convenient location"
This was our first time in Portland. We were visiting my son who moved here from NY. We chose this hotel because it was next door to his apartment building. We were somewhat anxious about this choice because we usually stay in a "name brand" hotel, and we were there for a full week. It turned out to be a great choice. We stayed in the king deluxe suite. […] The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, although we didn't really cook. The living area was spacious. We had good wireless connections. The Goose Hollow neighborhood is a great location, convenient to Nob Hill and to downtown. There were plenty of places in walking distance to eat, shop drink. We didn't have a car, so can't comment on the parking. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Downtown with free parking"
Had a good experience. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room. Easy to find.Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel was great the rooms were so clean. The rooms were huge. The staff was great. The only thing I didn't like was that the walls were paper thin. I heard everything next door. My neighbor went out drinking and had the hick ups when he got in. I felt like I couldn't make any kind of sound because I would wake him. If I were to stay here again […] I would bring ear plugs. But other than that it was great. Might even be one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"One of the best in 'Portlandia'"
Everything about this hotel was great. The welcoming staff, the swift checkin, the very large and comfortable room, the oatmeal and coffee, the location which is only a block off Burnside, the convenient parking and finally, the price. We'll be back!Genuine Expedia guest review
Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy to find location, with easy parking. Room was modern and very clean. We will be back for sure!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Don't spend your money here"
Cons: Room was dirty with hair on towels and sheets (and I don't mean a strand or two here or there), walls were paper thin, and our door lock was spotty. Wifi was down all four days we were at the hotel. Pros: Hotel location is great. If you plan to spend ALL of your time outside the hotel then it's okay, not comfortable and kind of difficult to sleep. […] This place is about as cheap as it gets though, considering location, so keep that in mind. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
As expected, no frills rooms. Stayed in both 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom suites. Kitchen decent.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Affordable but outdated motel- not recommended"
Strong reviews of the place were highly deceptive- this is a glorified motor inn that has not been well-maintained. The lobby was nice enough, but all of the entrances to the rooms are outdoors. The room itself was apartment-like in size, but had a weird smell and very, very old carpet with multiple stains. There were fruit flies all over the bathroom, […] and the ceiling leaked in the bedroom. The bedroom carpet did not look like it had been vacuumed recently. I left after one night since the place gave me the creeps. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Great hotel for the money. Perfect simple room. Right on bus line. Really friendly staff. Nothing fancy, but perfect fit a weekend of exploring the cityGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place for the price"
I was surprised to find that my room was more of an apartment than a normal hotel room - it had a kitchen with a stove, full size fridge, coffee maker and water boiler. They even had a full set of utensils and plates and a dishwasher to boot. A nice touch was that they provided some tea bags and just-add-water oatmeal for breakfast. Room was very comfortable […] and the heater worked pretty well. Location was pretty good, quiet and only about a 5 minute walk to a whole bunch of restaurants. Wifi connection was excellent (even better than my house). The blinds in the bedroom also kept out all the light in the morning when closed. The staff were all very friendly and courteous, and even provided little snacks in the lobby. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very Convenient for Downtown and Nob Hill"
We have stayed here 4 times before and this time we booked a 2 room suite on the 4th floor. Staff and Housekeeping are very good as always but the room is definitely in need of updating - our kitchenette fridge /freezer leaked water continually so put a towel down, one of the room heaters died and one off the rooms had a old CRT TV (very 1990's!). But […] that being said you get what you pay for and it is very good value and in a quiet good location. Just watch out for the very small spaces in the parking lot - we had our normal 2 new dings on the doors of our truck!!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"We love Park Lane Suites!"
We love having our own little apartment suite near downtown. Our son is attending Lewis and Clark, and we visit him often; once we discovered Park Lane Suites, we never stay anywhere else when we visit.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Enjoyed my stay."
Was very comfortable; staff friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best service, Modern rooms, Great location"
Our stay was unexpectedly amazing. After booking what I thought was just a cheap room, we were blown away by the quality of the place. All the staff were very friendly, and gave unforgettable recommendations for a local bar and an ice-cream shop just down the road. We had to have 6 bags pre-held for us while our room got ready, and they were not only […] accommodating, but seemed happy to help and made comfortable conversation. The room was modern, and very clean. Just far away enough from downtown to keep the hobos away, but still close enough for a quick walk to the city center for all the things you come to downtown Portland for. The lobby has chess and backgammon, as well as coffee, tea and cookies. I WILL be staying here again, and cannot recommend a hotel any higher. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"All the basics"
This was our fourth time staying at Park Lane. It's basic, clean, comfortable, affordable accommodation in a great location within walking distance of downtown and the shopping area on 23rd. We'll be back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Challenging Parking Lot"
The challenge is the parking. The lot is steep and hard to navigate if you have any physical challenges.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay."
It was great!!! The gentleman that checked us in was very nice and helpfull with directions. I didnt get his name but he should get a pat on the back. I checked in thursday 11/6 around 1330. Very nice rooms and quite too. Parking is a bit of fun trying to get into the back lot, but worth it. We have stayed here before and will again too.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Simple, but clean, friendly and well located"
We had a lovely stay at Park Lane Inn & Suites. The hotel was very simple, no frills, but it was sparkling clean, well located and the staff could not be more accommodating. Add to that free parking and wi-fi, and for the price it was everything we could have asked for.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice place to stay"
Great stay! Wonderful staff and good location. Clean and comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what I hoped"
It was okay, I was not in the main bldg but at the "Inn" - After my not so safe feeling, not at all well lit walk outside and across the street from the main lobby the room initially looked updated and smelled clean but walls were in need of attention and the bed made noise whenever you moved. Bathroom had some mold on the wall, shower was just a sprinkle […] and the towel rack was about to fall off the wall. There is no closet, it's a rack on the wall with a few hangers. There is a dresser which had the hair dryer in one drawer and two blankets crammed into two other drawers. It was okay for my short 2 nights but I'd pay a little more for a more close in location with more comfort. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"The Inn side of the street"
Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room is bare bones but comfortable. Small room and sharp edges on the bed frame. Location is easy access to shops and restaurants within walking distance. Coffee, tea, fruit and cookies available in lobby. Would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Helpful and Friendly Front Desk Folks"
Totally enjoyed our stay. Charles was extremely helpful and kind. We would stay again next time we are in Portland.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Perfect for a night near provience park Stadium"
Simple, Clean, Well maintained, Perfect for a stay in Portland (west of the 405). An easy walk to Providence Park Stadium. Loved it, and would stay again. A great mega-delicatessen 2 blocks away. AMAZING! (Elephant Delicatessen).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hairy and noisy little motel."
This is a motel. The fancy Inn and Suites part should not confuse anyone. With faux hardwood floors, it is like living inside a castanet. I made a game of trying to figure out what my upstairs neighbors were dropping on the floor. The clean IKEA look is nice for pics, but overall rough shape of my room and the horrible condition of the outside walkways […] are more reality. The staff was nice and the location was unique, but unless you plan on drinking heavy and sleeping heavy this is only for the pure budget traveler who does not care about other people's hair and toe nails left in their room.
