"Bridge tournament weekend"
It satisfied our every need. Great breakfast choices.
Accommodation was very good and I would most certainly use (and recommend this accommodation) if I am to be in North Bay for any length of time. Service was above reproach. I also used this motel on my lreturn jouorney to th Eastern Ontario on the night of 11/12 May 2011

An aging property, worn out except for a nice lobby. Stale smoker's air that a/c could not filter out. For non-smokers and allergy sufferers, poor choice. Generally tired. The owners appear to be running this one into the ground.

Very friendly place to stay. We were travelling with a lot of luggage so no elevator was a little bit of a challenge but not a big deal.

Out of the way of the busier parts of North Bay. Clean and Quiet!
"Affordable Hotel"
It was a good experience for us, the people are friendly, fast check in and checkout, the accommodations are very good, everything works well, and the breakfast is really good.
The only drawback is that the hotel has a second storey that is only accessable by stairs - a minor pain if you have lots of luggage. Other than that, we had a great stay.

"NO EXTRAS"
The Travelodge is a very clean hotel to stay in. the only flaw i found was they have no pool, sauna or whirl pool (hot tub)... Overall the beds were very comfortable to sleep in and the pillows were soft.
We were very pleased with our stay, the breakfast was very good with lots of choices. We would stay there again

We stayed at this hotel few times in the past. I used to make the reservation directly with the hotel by phone or e-mail. This time i was searching for the best price on the net, and i found it with Hotels.com. The price was right the reservation was made. I used Hotels.com in the past for hotel reservations overseas. "Travel lodge lakeshore North Bay"
Mold on ceiling of bathroom.During shower temperature would constantly change so much that I almost got burnt and my wife could not finish.Also the shower out let was so low I had to bend down to get my hair wet and I am not six feet tall.The rest of the room was just OK.

"Noisy room"
We recently stayed at the Travel lodge this past weekend and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was only 2 issues with the room we were given. I woke up numerous times throughout the night as there was an exit door right next to our room and it was extremely noisy with people coming and going all night slaming the door to the exterior. […] Then when I got up in the morning I noticied I had gotten bit by somekind of bug throughout the night . I will not be returning to that particualr hotel anytime soon. Read more

"DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR"
This is an older hotel, with decor and fixtures that are 'tired' and out-dated. However, the bed was very comfortable, everything was clean, staff was friendly and efficient, and the breakfast buffet was quite nice. So, if you're not looking for 'The Ritz', or to pay the price of 'The Ritz', you should be perfectly content in this hotel.

"Friendly Staff to Both People and Pets"
The staff at Travelodge Lakeshore North Bay was very friendly and accommodating. The doggie biscuits were a nice touch. The accommodations were clean and efficient especially considering the very fair rates.
"Easter Fun"
The hotel staff was wonderful, super friendly and accommodating. My son especially loved that since it was Easter, they had mini chocolate eggs available at the front... and in the morning, they gave him a very special toy egg, which when emerged in water hatched into a dinosaur. It was a great gift and during our entire trip home, he kept checking […] the progress. As for the rest of our stay, everything was wonderful. Very quiet (even though the parking lot was full, so we knew it was a sold-out hotel), and clean, with a fridge and microwave in every room.. an added bonus since we were traveling with a baby too. One thing to note is that there is no elevator, so call ahead if you need a main floor room (which they gave us) and the doors in the hall are very heavy. Otherwise, very great stay! Read more
"Quiet and Convenient"
Unable to stay with the brand I normally use, the Travel Lodge was a gamble... which paid off. The hotel was good quality for its ranking, moderately priced thanks to Hotels.com, and had everything I needed as a business traveler on a short stay. Did not sample the breakfast, but a couple of decent restaurants for supper close by. Only downside was […] that although the bathroom was very clean, facilities were in need of some "refreshing."
