The biggest problem with this hotel was the lack of hot water. It seems inexcusable for a hotel chain of your size to not have enough hot water for showers during our 3 night stay.

We stopped by for one (quick) night before heading towards mammoth. The room was big and the staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is slightly dated as you can tell by the room's furnishings, the carpet, and the bathroom tiles/walls. All in all, no bed bugs, great price, and close to the main road when heading up to Mammoth.

This is a decent choice for the Bishop area. The room itself had a half wall sort of divider in between the two beds. This worked well as it was two fishing buddies sharing the room. We were pleasantly surprised with the room, as we got a good deal through Hotels.com. The only problem was the bed was horrible. We enjoyed relaxing days at the Keough Hot Springs nearby and even drove up to Hot Creek outside of Mammoth, but got little to no rest on the lumpy bed with lumpy pillows.

My only complaint was that we had woken up early to head up to Mammoth for an early morning of snowboarding. The hotel was ok, price was ok, but the the service was one of the worse we ever had. We stayed two nights They had basic breakfast, plus a fresh make-yourself-waffle, but they don't refill anything once something was empty. We always ended up eating what ever was left from the earlybirds, and that was at 7:30AM!!! We had to buy breakfast somewhere […] else because of their lack of staff, or service. They also did not clean our room throughly. Only rearrange the beds, and thats it. No new towel, no extra toilet paper, no refill on kleenex, no new tea and coffee set for the second night. Ugh... We were to tired to go down to complain. When we checked out, we had to wait forever for somebody to come to the front desk. We won't use this hotel next time. Read more
