I chose this hotel for the location (which is close to my 2 key customers in the area.) I was very pleased with the overall quality, staff, and rooms. The breakfast was more than adequate with a good, basic selection.

"nice but noisy"
Noisy kids coming back after a concert at Spokane Arena made it VERY hard to rest. One call to security at 1230am and a second at 0230am helped a bit. But there were doors slamming all night. This was AFTER I asked for a quiet room and not to be near any kids on check in when the lobby was a zoo. "Loud, rude and unapologetic"
I was awakened both mornings around 6am. The first by loud guests out side my door the second was by staff vaccumming in the hall at 5:45am... it was the most inconvient rude thing to do. There was a mild apology by the front desk but nothing else... I was also surprised by the 9 dollar parking fee. "Great for pets"
We needed something last minute for our pets, and Red Lion was very accommodating. The room was a little dated and older, but it was clean. We were given a ground floor room which opened out to a grassy area for our dogs, which was perfect, since it was raining! We would stay here again, just for our pets. Hotel is nice and Staff was very pleasant and professional. The location was great for a walk to downtown and the restaurants. The hotel looks like it had been renovated but it looks like most of the renovations were outside the rooms. The bathtub in the room had a lot of pink spots on it, not due to lack cleaning but more due to age. It seemed some […] areas of the hotel/rooms were not updated by choice. I got a little lost due to the layout of the hotel. There are two different sets of elevators and same numbers given to floors that don't connect; for example 5th floor in one section of the hotel does not connect to the 5 floor in another section of the hotel. "Overnight stay"
At check in I told the gal at the counter we didn't need two beds. She gave us a room with a double bed. A single queen or king size bed would have been nice. Also our room was in a very noisy area of the hotel. Very close to Enrty way, Restaurant and Bar. So sleep was difficult.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very disappointing"
Room was very small, bathroom was even smaller could hardly move. Carpets very dirty. What they call a queen bed is really a full size bed. Had to pay for parking but lot was full, had to park across street and still pay? Wouldn't go back probably.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Comfortable Stay"
No major complaints. Comfortable beds with high quality matresses and bedding. We were on a ground floor porch room and it being fall, ants were finding their way into the room hanging out by the window and door sills. My car got broken into in the parking lot of the hotel and the hotel is doing nothing about it, I haven't been contacted by anyone for help, they do not have video surveillance in the parking lot, and they didn't take my license plate number or anything when I parked my car in their parking lot, so I didn't even know my car had been broken into until […] 4.5 hours after the new receptionist clocked in (so it had even already happened by then!). There was no mention of the fact that I had to pay $9 per night for non-valet parking, even though the lot was full and no spaces were even available. No one cleaned our room the entire time we stayed there. They did not take out the garbage, change the sheets, or provide clean towels. "Great Hotel for a family or business trip."
