As a budget tourist who basically uses a hotel as a base to visit sites and sleep, this hotel more than met my requirements. Used the Roissybus (10 euros each way) from CDG to Paris about 10 min walk to hotel from Opera. Also the hop on/off bus located in Opera. Metro station Rome is a half block away. Nice neat, clean hotel located near the "tube" for easy transportation to anywhere in Paris. This was our first visit to Paris (budget trip) and we selected this property based in large part on the previous reviewers. Rooms are small, bed was very comfortable, bathroom adequate, hotel staff helpful and friendly. There were small mom and pop bakeries […] close by and all were excellent. We stay 4 nights for a long weekend and it was absolutely perfect. we had the premium room number 12 on the street, it was really quiet, I have light sleep and didn't hear any train, air co was on but It didnt bother either . As previously mentionned, I recommand to take the drop in and out red buses ( you can pick one at Opera and pay in , the tickets are for 2 days ) you see the main sites and even can stay in for 2h30 with headset explaining sites. That was perfect for us and better than underground subway where you miss the beauty of this city ! Near by the hotel you have restaurants ( ask the reception for advices ) We loved Un Air de Famille. 3 metro lines are within 5 mn walk and st lazare station at 10mn, then you can go everywhere. We also book via internet a champagne cruise at night to see the monuments and eiffel tower lights, it was cheaper than diner cruise and perfect, very romantic. So enjoy the city ! My husband and I spent 2 nights 3 days in Paris and wanted a hotel that was centrally located, clean and comfortable, but not pricey. Hotel Cervantes was just that. The Rome metro station is a couple of blocks aways (really a short walk) as well as a grocery store that has the major food items you may require. There are restuarants and cafes also along the main road. A very nice park about 5-5 blocks away on the major road and one of the tour bus stops is about 5 blocks away. We had a great experience here. Close to the Metro stations, pretty quiet neighborhood. Room was small, but plenty of room. Shower was tiny.. but it worked and had good water pressure and hot water! A family of six--two triple rooms for six days. Quite happy with the accomodations. Very clean--great breakfast--friendly staff. Only complaint would be mattress on third bed ( roll-out bed) not so comfortable. Ice machine broke. Minor details. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel lacks adequate sound proofing. You can hear the bathroom above and also a heavy amount of walking. On the plus side the staff are helpful and the location within 3 stations is excellent. You ultimately get what you pay for and falls within the expectations of a 3 star hotel.

A very stylish hotel ; although our room was relatively small it was spotlessly clean, well appointed with fresh and attractive decor. Breakfast was reasonably priced and tasty. The hotel was situated close to transport links and made a great base from which to explore Montmartre in particular and Paris in general.

Hotel Cervantes is a great place to stay if you're on a budget like we were. Me and my girlfriend stayd there from 22.3 to 26.3 and we really enjoyed it. It's really close to the metro station and the street and general area is very peaceful. We had our room (64) on the highest floor, street side, as far away from the elevator, exactly what I asked […] for. The room was clean and the wifi good. Our soap machine didn't work though. Staff was nice and aswered our questions, we left our bags for a few ours there after checing out and they ecen loaned us a wine bottle opener. The hotel is situated in a convenient place as there are two metro stations clsoe by (Rome and Europe). The room was a bit small, and even though it was nice it got hot during the day as the air conditioning didn't seem to work properly and made a lot of noise. If you are traveling on a budget it is ok to stay in this hotel.

Hotel Cervantes Paris is gem of a hotel in the heart of Paris. It is easy to get to either from the airport or train stations - on the Metro line from Gare du Nord to the Arc de Triomphe. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has excellent free wifi and a nice hot-cold buffet breakfast.

This hotel is easy to find (less than 200 meters from the Rome metro station) and the area has a good selection of bistros and restaurants. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly, but as a business traveller I found the room itself disappointing. Firstly, although it had a wonderful contemporay design and was very well maintained, it was tiny. My […] suitcase had to be on the bed as there was not enough floor space to open it and the bathroom was so small that anyone with long legs could not physically sit on the toilet. The basin was so shallow I could not fill the ketle from the tap. The space issue wasn't helped by the fact I had a booking for a twin room and they had given me a sinngle room (obviously noting I was travelling alone but with the resultant loss of other s[pace). The hotel is alos a little close to the rail/metro line resulting in early morning train noise (rumbling) and the plumbing gurgled so much it actually woke me up. The air conditioning was modern but not very effective and I had to open a window to cool the room in November, which felt a little unsafe as behind the frosted window was a rather scruffy courtyard from which my first floor window was very acessible. That having been said if you are a heavy sleeper, just want someone very clean to spend a night in a oood location then this fits the bill. The breakfast was good, the staff helpful and it is easy to find. Read more

Not much to say really. Quite bright, young and funky, but bordering on a youth hostel feel. Room was small and bathroom tiny but comfortable and clean. Liked the decor, bed linen etc. Had a safe which was a plus and location was super for long walks around town. Highly recommended budget option - I will definitely go back.
