I was very happy on how nice the hotel was. Everything exceeded my expectations. It's not like the Ritz, but it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely stay there again!

Very anticeptic - strictly business. Kind of out of the way, not within walking distance of anything. New - everything works - food at hotel fair. Go here if you are on business, not for entertainment. It is perfect for getting stuff done without distractions.

Over all it was good. Since i was there for a n=oone night stay the area was not an issue, if i was there longer i would like to have been in a different area, but i felt the area to be safe, and that is what really counts

Location.
Situated in the heart of Calgary, Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Calgary is close to TELUS World of Science, Calgary, Calgary Tower, and Stampede Corral. Also nearby are Scotiabank Saddledome and Devonian Gardens.
Hotel Features.

"One week visit"
I did not really have a good stay. I liked that the breakfast was included and the room was spacious. But the breakfast area is too small so finding a seat is a problem and food choice is very limited. The only is on the edge of town and not centrally located and there is not bar. "Good amenities, good value"
Very clean, quiet room. The room was spacious and well-kept. Great TV, fairly comfortable bed. The location is a few blocks away from most of the downtown action. I guess this could be a good thing or bad thing. This end of 8th Avenue is pretty dead in the evenings, and it's about 8 or 9 blocks' walk to the more lively end of the avenue. GOOD TV BUT NEEDS A DVD PLAYER

Good location, but nothing specially business hotel. The best thing is car-parking!! (Most hotel at downtown Calgary doesn't offer free parking lot.)
