"Just so so."
Front desk unaware of 4th of July festivities. Room dated and floors missing tiles.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I would never recommend this hotel! The AC did not work, the bathroom fan was really loud the first 5 Minutes it was on, the security door was disconnected and the card reader didn't work, the beds were like sleeping on a concrete slab. Worst stay ever!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"everything i expected"
I got a non smoking room during July 4th weekend which was a hard time to find a room at this rate. PROS: As a smoker, I was pretty sure I would find cig marks from previous guests in the room. But I was pleased that the AC was up and running when I arrived on a hot day and it didn't smell like smoke. My trip was short notice so having an ironing board […] was handy. The room was clean and the sleep was comfortable. Its located next to a strip mall and theater and is one exit away from yet another mall. CONS: Pray some jerk doesn't bring a yapping dog near your room. Thankful it was sleep when I was sleep. When I did decide to go smoke(outside), the closest hotel entrance to my room was broken so I had to walk around to the front to get back in. And the car with the busted windows was still there. NOT THE HOTELS FAULT?: One night outside smoking I was greeted by the police. He continued to ask me in various ways if I had a room here, asking for ID(I'm in my PJS! and I wasn't going back inside until I was done smoking) and stating they get a lot of calls about disturbances in the area(which I didn't see). OVERALL: Don't expect to walk into 5* hotel at $50-60. Expect a clean room, clean towels, a room that doesn't smell if its non smoking, and a quiet sleep when you're not being slightly harassed by the law. It's going to look a little "broken in" so if you expect perfection, you should get a more expensive room. Worth every penny I paid for. For the rate I paid, I would go back. "Worth the money I paid but..."
Due to the low cost I would stay at this hotel again but only if there were no other low/mid cost hotels nearby to try out first. Up side: Good location, spacious room, decent beds and when the clerk realized I was staying 4 nights, she assigned me a room with a microwave and fridge. Appreciated! Down side: The room smelled awful though clean in appearance. […] Even after being sprayed the smell remained. The air never seemed quite cool enough, the door was hard to open and the internet was pretty low quality. I had to use my phone as a hotspot. It wasn't a miserable experience but not a great one either. I'm on the fence, so I'll give it an over all rating of 3 out of 5. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Out-dated but comfortable, clean with great staff"
Yes, it is a bit out-dated in decor, but the price was great for the location. We put both sets of grandparents up for our son's HS graduation. They relaxed in the late evening in these rooms and enjoyed the breakfast with included 'real' oatmeal. They all reported that the their own double bed was comfortable and thought the front desk staff and maintenance […] staff were great. I don't think they interacted with the housekeeping staff, but they thought the rooms were well cleaned. For the price, its great! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"If you can afford something better, do it!"
First, if you have a sensitivity to strong deodorizers, you won't want to stay here. When I came in on Sunday there was a strong deodorizer smell, presumably to fight of the smell from the smoking rooms, that almost caused me to have a migraine. After that first day, the strong wasn't so overwhelming. The exercise room was completely broken down. The […] treadmill wouldn't turn on and neither would the TV. The woman at the front desk did not seem too concerned. The bathtub was broken. You could turn on the water, but the you had to hold the knob on. Also, the room was to hot and the AC didn't work right. I can't imagine staying there in 80 degree weather. No matter how low you turn it down it will not cool the room off!! The breakfast was awful. The only good thing -- it was cheap! So, if you can deal with all the problems, go for it! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice people but..."
The service people were very nice. The overall hotel is in need of repair. Simple genera maintenance things even,...shower handle rotates all the way around Without completely shutting off ever, wall paper pealing or completely missing in places, stains on carpet, door to rooms with broken door jams, Locks that stick and that you have to force to shut....Maintenance […] crew needs to get on those types of things. There some guys hanging out a window smoking With no shirts on hollering At my daughter. Said something to the manager and he was very kind and took care of it. Again great service people...but hotel needs attention. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"White towels? not so much"
The towels were all stained or dirty. Not sure which. The bathroom shower curtain was moldy, the wall paper was peeling. Even the bed linens looked stained. Had the AC set to 68 degrees and it always felt hot in the room. The convenient location is about the only positive I have on the place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stay at Days Inn, O'Fallen, IL."
Room was very nice. Only problem was the refrigerator didn't work and we had to throw away some food we had brought back to the room. Also the toilet ran all the time and the bathtub had a drip. The room was very clean.Genuine Expedia guest review
"would not stay again"
no toilet paper in the room, the shower curtain had something on it, staff did not even bother asking how my stay was, housekeeping came into my room while I was in it and didn't even knock, went to breakfast around 900 and it was poorly stockedGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Was ok for price.. You get what you pay for."
Staff was nice and helpful. Room could have been cleaner. Dust on headboard. Tables had nit been cleaned....comforter had dog hair on it and requested another. Did get a clean one about 1.5 hours later. Shower was terrible water pressure. Sink drained very slow. Walls are very thin and heard dog barking across hall all night.Genuine Expedia guest review
The walls were very thin. There was a party going on in the room next to mine until the early morning hours. I could hear every word spoken by the six or so men. I got to sleep at about 2 a.m. Then at 5 a.m. the ladies on the other side of me got up and I got to hear some entertaining stories about their grandkids. Needless to say I checked out early […] and slept elsewhere the following night. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Stayed 5 days, booked online and couldn't get a refund to leave. The people were very nice and the food was great but the room stunk BAD, cable hasn't worked since 2008 after I looked back at past reviews, internet constantly went down and I would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor instead of the bed, but I was afraid to do that because […] it stunk so bad. Very basic and out of date furnishment.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was a typical Days Inn. Skimpy continental breakfast. Elevator needed to be serviced (front desk staff knew of problem). Furniture in room was rickety and very worn. Old TV set with mediocre picture quality. The microwave took up most of the room on the desk top. Small bathroom with peeling wallpaper; there was mold behind the wallpaper.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice location, easy to access"
The staff was friendly and helpful, the building was very clean. Not much to complain about other than it was pretty outdated and could use some remodeling. Overall pleased, and "you get what you pay for" is very true here. It was the cheapest, highly rated and my friends and I didn't need much accommodating for our one night stay!Genuine Expedia guest review
The room was clean but no smoke detector in the room. The toilet had trouble flushing. The flap would get stuck and the toilet wouldn't fill right so didn't flush. You had to push the flap back down every time you flushed. The handle would get stuck and you had to wiggle it to get it to flush. The door to the bathroom couldn't open completely, it hit […] the toilet seat. The light was outside the bathroom. No light in the stairway on the 2nd floor. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not bad for the low price"
I had a good stay at this hotel, but I do have two minor complaints. The first is that there was no station guide to the tv (either in the room or as a station of the tv), and scrolling through the stations I was unable to find a few stations I like to watch (like TLC). The second complaint is that the carpet in the room curled up the walls and the […] baseboards were missing (it looked like there had been baseboards at one point). Hopefully the room was simply under renovation, because it did not look completed. The breakfast bar included a waffle maker, which was a nice surprise. They also let me check in 30 minutes early, which was highly convenient! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"worth what you pay x2!"
there are two things i want from a hotel, wifi and cleanliness. and this trip met my specifications. we only stayed one night, and i've paid for hotels anywhere from $60 a night to $100 a night. paying more doesn't mean you're getting a better stay. and for the fact that i only had to pay $50 for a night and it was just a good as my $100 hotel stays, […] i'm definitely impressed! it's close to a bunch of fast food and restaurants, as well as walmart, and right off the highway. it's about 5 min away from the mall as well! will definitely stay at this hotel again!! "UPDATE AND MAINTENANCE"
When I walked into the hotel, I was pleased. It smelled clean. The front desk person was friendly and let me know up front that if I needed to stay an extra day, that the hotel would honor my current rate, which I appreciated. Then I went to put my belongings in the hotel room. I noticed the lamp shade to the left, in the middle of the two beds, was […] broken in many places and missing pieces from from the lamp shade. Then I noticed the furniture, which appeared very worn and chipped, was also very dusty. When I took a bath and let the water out of the bathtub, it went out very slowly and dirty residue proceeded to come up into the tub. The toilet stopped up a few times, where I has to leave it a while , then try again flush. The beds were decent, seemed to be pretty clean. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"PLEASE THINK TWICE"
I will never stay at an Days Inn as long as I live!!! The room was dark and only 3 light fixtures worked. We had 2 not 1 big back televisions in our room and none worked. We noticed that when we woke up that morning. I called the front desk to say that the remote control did not work. He told ME " oh...I think we have another remote down here ...come […] and get it". I told him I was not dressed and he said " I am busy." I said this is what YOU CALL SERVICE?? He never once said sorry about that or anything to that effect. The next day while we were leaving the room my mother looked at the adjoining door to the next room. It was opened on our side of the room and could not be locked!! The other person in the next room could have just walked on in!! Towels were dingy we had go to Walmart to buy more towels. TERRIBLE!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The room was dirty and filthy. The continental breakfast was terrible, milk was warm, orange juice was out, out of pastries. Got to room to discover a filthy dirty bathroom. The toilet had dried urine and private part hairs all over the toilet lid. I discovered an old hamburger somebody threw on the floor in stairwell. "Good Location close to downtown St Louis"
Hotel was disappointing in a number of area's: 1. Bathroom shower/tub faucet handle was not attached due to excessive wear/tear. Had to apply extreme pressure to handle in order to get valve to turn. 2. Toilet tank was loose on seat which moved when toilet was sat on. 3. General cleanliness was lacking, dirt and dust in corners of room 4. No remote […] for TV 5. Continental breakfast was hideous. Stale bread and bagels were thrown away. No coffee was available and when we asked for coffee the employee " said we can make it...its easy" while she continued to sit at lobby desk using a PC even though no other customers were present. After 10 seconds she decided she would make it. This particular Days Inn has many issues to resolve....will not stay at another. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Employees and Hotel"
The bed slept well. However, The lighting both inside and outside of the hotel was not very good at all. I roomed alone and never really felt safe, especially coming in and out of the hotel at night time hours. Lighting and safety is a very important factor when traveling and staying in a hotel. I was told that it is a family run hotel, however, the […] reception from behind the counter as well as the hallways and the parking lot was very dark. If I had not pre-paid, I would not have stayed. I never felt completely secure during my stay. I guess guest's comfort/safety level is not at the top of the list of importance for the family running the hotel.
