Like spending three nights in a Laser Hair Removal clinic. The Park is a triumph of design over comfort. They should re-open the Nuremburg Trials and put the architect in the dock. Who puts a toilet in the bedroom? The shower leaks onto the sleeping area floor. The (one) chair is from the House of Torquemada. Aroma of burgers, fries, and cigarettes […] waft sweetly by the dysfunctional lobby with the concierge strategically placed next to the public (pay) toilet. This BUILDING is a disaster! The people in it, however, were wonderful from the reception and wait staff to the housekeepers and aforementioned long-suffering concierge. There was a stereotypical bar manager out of Fawlty Towers central casting, but the comic relief, and the good food, especially breakfast, was worth a visit to Spagos, the restaurant lounge. If you are young, sans souci, and need to be right where it is happening, this is the place for you. For us fogies, gimmee that overstuffed recliner, a bathroom WITH A DOOR, and a couple of drawers to put my underwear in. Read more

I don't usually complain about tiny European hotel rooms, but this was ridiculously squeezed for a high-priced "business-friendly" room. To save space, there is no separate bathroom: the sink, shower, and toilet open directly onto the room. The work space is pathetic. And heaven help you, if you try to squeeze a second person in the room.

On arrival the hotel had a queue of more than 20 people waiting to check in/check out. The staff was grumpy and I had a feeling that they don't want to be there. The room has a toilet inside the room, meaning there is a glass panel between the toilet and the rest of the room. So don't think your dirty deeds will go unnoticed. When asking the staff to open the side door for easy access to the busstop (at 4 in the morning) they said they can't and I have to walk around the building. Thats customer service right? The room had an interesting rate per night, but you had to pay extramoney for everything, including using the bath at the lobby, getting connected to internet via wifi (they had 2 mac pc's down at the lobby, but it was incredibly expensive to use them too), going up to the hotel's terrace or even to watch a movie in your room. Be sure to ask for a room on the upper levels. They placed me on the 35th floor overlooking East Berlin and the views were amazing. Please note that if you want a room overlooking the TV Tower on the western side it will cost you an EXTRA 15-20 Euros/night! We had a nice stay at this hotel. The view was nice and staff was very helpful/pleasant. The TXL bus stops right out side! The only drawback was the room design -tight and glass doors (with privacy curtain) could be awkward if with a friend you don't know well or co-worker. I thought it was cool though.

this huge hotel is a landmark in Berlin due to its size in the middle of medium building on the Alexander Platz. The lobby is very small and full of hundreds of people check in. It was a nice hotel, close proximity to bars, restaurants and shopping, but the rooms were really small, we had the superior room, and my husband and I couldn't get around the room at the same time. There were no additional amenities. Price of internet was outrageous. No coffee in lobby. Concierge was not particulary helpful. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. There are better choices in Berlin. Room was tiny.

Good location - right be a plaza and train station. Walking distance to restaurants. Only complaint is a few nights when room was warm (albiet in Fall season), hotel maintenance wasn't able to reduce A/C any lower. We had to sleep with windows open. Also, at one point the hotel wanted to charge a early check-in fee. Hotel, however, has a great bar!

This hotel gives you easy walking access to many of the major historical sights in Berlin. It is also right on a train line making it easy to get just about anywhere. There is a market just outside the door where you can eat, drink and shop. The rooftop observation deck is magnificient.

Location was wonderful and I think I got a good rate with Expedia however I wouldn't rate this hotel 4 star or 4.5 star as it says on Expedia. I live in Dubai and a 4 star hotel in my mind is much better than this one. So in my opinion this was a 3/ 3.5 star hotel. This hotel was great! It was extremely clean and modern compared to other European hotels my husband and I stayed in. The staff spoke English and were friendly and helpful. This hotel, while not in the middle of many Berlin sights, was within walking distance of many of them. If you don't feel like walking, the hotel was right on the Alexanderplatz […] where you could catch a tram or a sightseeing bus to get you where you would want to go. The train station was right behind the hotel, which was convenient for breakfast on Sunday morning as the restaurants in the station were the only ones open before 10 AM! My stay at the Radisson's Park Inn of Berlin lasted only five days, but I got to say the experience was overall great. The hotel lies within a medium walking distace of the Brandenburg Gate, about 2 km, and most of Berlins most interesting sights can be seen around that very path. You have the metro and railway station pretty much on the backyard with […] all possible fastfood joints around it, and via the station you have access to the whole city with ease. The quality of service was way over average and the hotel itself looked really nice inside and outside. Also I think a close to five star hotel is very inexpensive, if two person's one night stay can be split in fifty bucks each in such a major scene. About the nightlife of the area, I got to say that you have some nice restaurants and clubs at very close range and smaller, but most fascinating local bars and pubs some 3-5 hundred meters north of the place. If i have to find something bad to say about the hotel, I guess it's the WiFi which i think should be pretty much standard in any hotel. Here however the WiFi worked only at the lobby of the 30 floor hotel, and you had to pay of the usage with your credit card. Gladly the hotel personnel tipped me about a free WiFi at a Starbucks just on the other side of the metro station at the foot of the Fernsehturm. Other than that, enjoy your stay. Read more

Hotel room has a nice design but is rather small. There is no privacy if you share the room. The terrasse is not worth the money and Wlan is only available in the lobby and is way too expensive from my point of view.
