Thrifty Inn Paducah

Was very happy with our stay at Thrifty Inn .Pillows could have been harder but slept fine. Booked room online and was surprised at the price and comfort of the room. We plan more trips to Paducah and plan to book more rooms here. Staff was very friendly .

We arrived in the evening and the receptionist was so-so in friendliness. (He was curt.) The motel is open air so no interior hallways and it was raining. There was no access through the front lobby so we and our luggage were forced to get drenched. This dated motel was clean but the double beds seemed tiny. We could hear a conversation from a nearby […] room. The price was right and they did not charge extra for our 2 dogs, although we were not sure why they put us on the third floor. (The motel was pretty empty.) Someone door-dinged our truck pretty badly. (We noticed when we went out to eat that someone in a blue PT Cruiser parked very close to us even though the lot was nearly empty. I stayed at this hotel for 4 days. It was a great location, easy to find, and very reasonably priced. The only thing I did not like was there was no refrigerator or microwave but I can deal without that so all in all it was a great stay and it got me home for a while.!

Only issue I had was one of the rooms had no refrigerator or microwave in it but the other one had both. Other then that nice and cold in room when it was 100 degrees outside. Very clean pool.

Hotel is conveniently located to interstate. Outside appearance is lovely, the neighborhood is questionable. The staff is wonderful but the room...the rodent droppings beside the nightstand made for nervous sleep. Could not wait to leave the next mornig. Sadly we had reservations for the return trip nearly a week later.

Great for the money if you are on a budget and need a comfortable room. The beds were comfortable, fridge and microwave were nice. AC in the hotel works great. Hotel is a little older so carpet is a little stained but about what you would expect. Much better than a Motel 6 for about the same money. Nice Pool too.

This site is located on a main thoroughfare and is close to restaurants, etc. It was easy to access the Luther Carlson 4 Rivers Center from Hinkleville Road. I was not pleased with the cleanliness of my room however, as the carpet was badly stained and there was a hair on the phone and on the tub walls. We checked into this hotel with some apprehension, because of the age. We found, however, that our room appeared to have been newly remodeled. It was very clean, the carpets, spreads looked new, as well as the bathroom and dressing area facilities. The air was wonderfully COLD! Great shower too! We were pleasantly surprised. The good things: I thought the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the hotel staff were extremely friendly. The bad things: My husband thought the bed was very uncomfortable; breakfast was a little disappointing; our non-smoking room smelled an awful lot like smoke.

The hotel is run down. We have stayed there in the past and it was pleasant, this time not. The staff was rude and the room stank. The carpet made my feet black!, the sheets were tattered and the towels as thin and rough as cheese cloth. Poor ventalation, which smelled really really bad as well.

Even with the late night arrival, I had my key and was in my room in less than 5 minutes. Was able to grab a simple breakfast and coffee before hitting the road the next morning. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

drove 500 +miles we were tired. arrived at thirifty inn, no problem checking in. told the front desk my name, she looked it up on the computer, told us the room number and gave us the pass key. the check in clerk was very nice. great stay.

The outer bed covers were dirty and the exposed bed boxed springs were dirty. The price was good.The The breakfast was good. The service was good. The location was good. The outside entrances were not good in colder weather, and stairways had mud tracked from construction workers staying here.Mall is across the street from motel.
