Excellent place to stay. Not. 1 complaint from the big, soft beds in clean rooms to the great evening meal and hot breakfast. The staff are all very nice and helpful. The manager Joe is friendly and great to work with. We will for sure be back many times to o to royals games and stay. You won't be sorry if you choose this place.

The first night of our stay there were some rowdy kids in the hallway but the staff took of this promptly and respectfully. The free breakfast had great options for both me and my boyfriend. We never made it to the free dinner and drinks because we were out doing activities. We attended a Royals game so this was a great location for that.

I had to go through the Denny's parking lot to get to the hotel. The parking lot security, with the drop down bar and video camera, was an indication that it wasn't the safest area. There wasn't the most convenient parking by the entrance. The majority of parking spots were in the back of the hotel. You can hear everything in the rooms next door ,people down the hall walking. The place needs sound proofing or remodel of the entire structure. Nice people and breakfast was good. Overall wouldn't stay there again because of the noise.

In town with my mother who's in a wheelchair. I did not mention this when the reservation was made, but the manager upgraded us to a room to accomodate wheelchair access and made the stay pleasant. You really did not have a category covering our situation, which was having to visit a relative in a hospital. This hotel was close to the hospital and in a good neighborhood. The staff could not have been more helpful from the time we arrived till we checked out.

This place is awesome. The check in was smooth. The clerk (Lisa) was very friendly and smiling and told us to contact her if we needed anything. The "happy hour" had chicken tenders, hot dogs and buns, soup, lettuce salad, chips, etc. plus 3 alcoholic drinks, all of this included in the price of the room. It is one of the main reasons we stay at Drury. […] This particular place has been remodeled and it is clean and new. All staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast could have used more attention as far as refilling the containers, but it was still good and a variety...sausage gravy, biscuits, eggs, sausage patties, waffles, hot oatmeal, cold cereals, donuts, juices and coffee. Didn't spend too much time in hotel. We have stayed with Drury Inn before and like the added extras. Would be nice if you could get your free drinks later in the evening. Both times we have stayed with you, we had other activities planned at drink time.

The hotel was great! From 5:30-7, they offer 3 free alcoholic drinks to every adult guests - Bud Light on tap and mixed drinks. During this time, there is also free fountain drinks, and enough food to make a light dinner - hotdogs, nachos, baked potatoes, cheddar broccoli soup, and penne with marinara & meatballs. Perfect for a budget when traveling […] with kids. The pop fountain is open until 10 pm along with a popcorn machine - we grabbed some and headed to the room for a movie night. The next morning breakfast was great as well - the usual waffle machines, biscuits & gravy, sausage, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, oatmeal, cereal, yougurt, and pastries. The location is great if you want ot avoid parking fees for the KC Royals or Chiefs. There is a Dennys directly out front. I wouldn't say it's the greatest neighborhood, but you're downtown in a city, and we didn't have any problems. I would just suggest not leaving anthing valuable in your car, but that goes for any hotel stay. The doors inside are key-accessed which made gives an added layer of comfort. I love Drury Inns because of the wonderful extras...hot food in the evening, free drinks, free pop and popcorn, and hot breakfast! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. My only qualms were the cleanliness of the public areas and the fact that animals were allowed to be there. Wow...what a difference since we last stayed here. They have COMPLETELY remodeled this hotel. We were talking on our trip to KC how the carpets were always kind of dirty, but not anymore. They have recarpeted everything, put in all LCD TV's, retiled the bathrooms, put in new sinks, new bedding, new furniture...everything. The reception area is bigger […] and nicer now. They offered the free drinks and food as usual from 5:30-7:00, but had some better food too, boneless buffalo wings, hot dogs, mac and cheese, baked potatoes, chili, salad. This hotel is so nice, especially since they have recently remodeled. The free breakfast is a wonderful start to a good day. The location is so close and convenient to the highway. My family and I stay here about every two to three months on our travels to st.Louis.

I needed a stop on the way to Denver and wanted to check out Kaufmann Stadium. I was able to secure a Royals ticket with help from staff. The hotel provided free "kickstart" food in the evening with free drinks and a complimentary breakfast in the morning. It was right next to I-70, just the access I needed.

It was a short stay, but very nice. Very conveniently located to I-70 and I-435. Our room was near the highway, but we never heard any traffic noises. The room was wonderful, staff was very professional, and the breakfast was outstanding! I will definitely use this Drury Inn if we go back to that part of the state.

Recently smoke free, so the rooms still smell like smoke. They did give us febreeze, which helped but you could still smell smoke. Nice little bar and breakfast.
