Internet available only via Wi-Fi and looks like they have few Wi-Fi points, so connection in our room was very poor (by Speedtest.net about 0.03mbit download and 0.001 upload) and very unstable (and connection in hall and lobby was ok). If you need to check a couple of mails it's ok, but I use more expansive internet via cell phone, that was better […] in room. Also room was on street side, that is very noisy. And finally - sofa bed was very old and uneven. For (small) kids it's ok, but for adults absolutely inappropriate. So if you buy room "for 5 person with 2 bads and sofa" for 3 persons and plan to use sofa for adult person, this will be waste of money for this hotel. Read more

The location was very convenient and the immediate area was safe as I was concerned after reading other hotels equivalent to the Days Inn reveiws about seedy areas. My hotel room was very large. The front desk was very helpful. Kids enjoyed the pool. The common hallway rugs were prettty dirty and the elevator was making a lot of noise and was small. […] We were only on the 2nd floor so we took the stairs. overall the stay is above average, except the toilet bowl got choked and we activated the housekeeper to clear the mess. by the time we get back to the hotel at night the choke is resolved.

The surrounding neigborhood was not that great at all to many homeless people, graffiti, empty lots with trash, but the Hotel itself was okay, secure parking for the area was a plus, I would stay again.

I really liked the hotel overall. It's an older hotel but pretty well kept. The lobby and the pool area are very nice The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. My major complaint was the bathroom. Secure underground parking for $10 was a huge plus. Short cab ride from the hotel to Hollywood attractions like Walk of Fame, Pantages Theater, Kodak Theater, Wax Museum etc. I wouldn't walk the at night due to many panhandlers and "medicinal herb" storefronts. Overall the stay was satisfactory. On arrival there was a vehicle partially blocking the area to park for check-in. While trying to manouver our vehicle around the other one I scraped the side of my vehicle to the tune of $900. Not a good first impression!!!

I reccomend it for a short stay or people without a car. Basic, clean hotel with a garage. Rooms at poolside seem to be quieter. Our room was noisy but this is LA. No holiday to relax - shopping and party is the thing to do ;-)

While our room was clean, it was very small, no shower tub (which was surprising), and toilet was awkwardly placed right against the sink (not sure how a larger person could use it). Walls are thin- could hear people talking next door and a couple above us (yuck). Overall, this hotel was very good for the affordable price. I booked this room mainly due to the location. It was near everything my girlfriend and I wanted to see and do, while being a bit cheaper than a couple other options. The hotel was overall nicer than I expected. The lobby and breakfast area were very nice looking and very clean in appearance. The hotel was ok. The room was clean but dated. They did have an HD flat panel that was a nice touch especially since it was in full HD. The biggest problem I had with the room was the hot water. It literally took about ten minutes for the water to just get "warm", not even hot. Not good when you have to get up early for work.
