This is a wonderful hotel in a great location a 100 meters from the Luxembourg RER station. The decor is a bit weird, with lots of black and white, but the room we had was very large by Paris standards, had a super comfortable bed, and a spiffy new, modern bathroom. This is a newly renovated hotel with clean rooms, very comfortable beds, excellent service people. Shortcomings are the quite small rooms, characteristic of left-bank hotels, and important for us, the lack of grab bars in the showers and tubs. Free wifi in the rooms is a plus. The hotel is fantastic in location, comfort, style, looks and service. It's wifi was bad and it kept expiring on me. The AC was turned off due to cold weather, but the fan circulation was also cut off. This made the room a little stuffy.

We just spent 5 nights at Hotel L'O Luxembourg and really enjoyed our stay. The room was small, as are most Paris hotel rooms, but care was taken to maximize the space. The hotel was just renovated with a sophisticated Fornasetti theme and it works beautifully. Definitely a boutique feel without being at all fussy. In addition, the hotel is very well-located, […] close to Metro stops, an RER station (train to/from airport and other places), many stores and restaurants. We walked almost everywhere and the neighborhood seemed quite safe even at night. I also appreciated the help and attention we received from the concierges, all of whom were very nice. Mustafa, in particular, went out of his way to locate our wayward airport shuttle van the morning we left. As we were waiting, I also overheard him finding hotel accommodations for a couple who had to extend their stay because a family member travelling with them had been hospitalized. Hotel L'O L was booked, so he found them another place to stay on. The only negative I can think of is that I'm virtually certain a pair of shoes disappeared from my luggage while we were there. It's pointless to speculate and I'm not accusing anyone, but I think I'll go back to my practice of unpacking little and locking the rest in my suitcase when I leave the room. That said, I would gladly return to Hotel L'O Luxembourg next time I'm in Paris. Read more

The location was excellent for my needs. The hotel room was quite small but comfortable - the bedding was awesome - pillows, sheet, comforter soft and fluffy. I would definitely go back to this hotel. It is only 15 minutes to the Seine and 5 minutes to the Latin Quarter. The room was clean and comfortable, although quite basic, and the staff was friendly. Wifi was free in the room and lobby with a good connection speed.

The Observatoire is right across from the south exit of the RER B line that comes from CDG--VERY convenient for transit to other transfer points. Staff was always kind and helpful. Our room itself was definitely tiny, and that was anticipated. You really had to coordinate how to maneuver around the bed. But the bath was surprisingly modern and roomy. […] Complimentary WiFi was quick on the download, but sluggish on uploading, but it saved us money in data costs for certain. Restaurants, shops, and the great Luxembourg Gardens were all right there, and several main attractions were an easy extended walk if you don't take the Metro. The entrance to the underground RER (metro) stop was just across the street (super convenient). There was a small market a few doors down the street that made buying drinks and snacks very easy. The RER train from CDG airport stops at Luxemburg, which is in front of the hotel, this was very convienent not having to change trains with baggage. The hotel is in the Latin Quarter on St. Michel. You can catch the 38 bus in front of the hotel and go down to Saint Germain/St. Michel area for all sorts of fun, there you are right accross the river from Notre Dame Cathedral, truly the location is close to everything. They don't let you take the room key with you, which is cool since they've attached a large weight to it. They just hold it at the desk until you return. Very nicely situated on the main rail line from CDG airport and the Gare du Nord. Helpful staff. The room, however was really tiny, with a minute shower stall. The windows were soundproofed, and those on the back have a view of a nice garden belonging to a nearby school.

Great value cute little boutique hotel. Easy to get to and it has the bikes outside and a Metro station a short walk away. Room was small but perfectly formed. And nice room service breakfast as well included in the price. The hotel was refurbishing its brasserie at the time of our stay but it looked like it was going to be very nice.

The hotel staff were welcoming and very helpful.The room was very comfortable with a luxurious look and feel despite the small space in a standard room. We had a great view over some private gardens towards the back of the hotel. It's less than 100m from the Luxembourg metro which is on a great line to travel around Paris and only two stops from Gare […] du Nord for the Eurostar travellers. The neighbourhood is residential, relaxed and quiet at the far end of Boulevard Michel with a restaurant attached to the hotel and a few local cafes and boulangeries if you venture East of the hotel off Boulevard Michel. There's more of a buzz as you walk North along Boulevard Michel towards the Latin Quarter (Saint Martin), with more shops restaurants and cafes. This area and above all Luxembourg gardens are great to wander around. For the sightseeing theres a lot to do with Notre Dame and Luxembourg gardens being very close by. Read more

I would definitely recommend this good quality small hotel for a weekend break. It is clean with good modern bedroom and bathroom facilities. The hotel is well located near the Jardin du Luxembourg and The Pantheon. There were plenty of good cafes and restaurants only a short walk away.
