Econo Lodge - East Point

Always a pleasant experience at this location. When the pool is open, it is GREAT. The location is convenient to downtown and far enough out to avoid most traffic issues.

I wasn't sastisfied at all. The bathroom fan is extremely loud and the walls etc. was filthy. There is no microware available after 10 for guest. The good thing about the stary is that It's in a convenient location and the price was very reasonable. I would probably stay again if I absoulutely have to but I would definitely bring disinfectants to clean […] the room myself. And it probably would be a good idea to bring a big sheet to put on the floor for safe walking about the room. Just have that grimey feeling. Read more

We have stayed at this location in the past numerous times and everything was great but this time around there were many things wrong with room. The phone was not working, dirty bathroom, no clock, TV had no volume, tried to call front desk from our cell phone to inform them about things wrong with room but never got an answer. it was a nightmare! i stayed all of a hour there before i was making a reservation somewhere else! If you have allergies, this is not an awesome spot for you. The AC unit was not properly placed in the wall, leaving a gap in the wall. The vents probabl have NEVER been cleaned judging by the caked on dust! Gross! Staff is always exceptionally courteous and accommodating. The wifi is not as good as it should be BUT the staff will find a room where it works for you. The hotel is well maintained and very convenient to I-85 and a few minutes to downtown. Additionally, there are several restaurant choices with in walking distance.

If the showerhead hadn't fallen on my daughter and the coffee pot had been clean it would have been a lot better. The room was big enough , the staff was friendly, it was quiet despite being at a large airport didn't hear any of the planes.

Tissue holder popped out of the wall when you pulled a tissue. Holes and gaps in the wall and ceiling where appliances such as air conditioner were mounted. Sloppy trim painting (obviously free-hand with a course brush, painter's tape must be in short supply, for instance, overlapping the bathroom counter-top) and badly in need of caulking everywhere. […] The floor carpet looked recently vacuumed but the corners and edges as if they hadn't been done in years. The bathroom door edges were frayed and a split around the locking mechanism, The front desk people (and maintenance guy, who helped me figure out the esoteric remote control of the air-heat device) couldn't have been nicer or more professional; the front desk called me after I had time to unpack to make sure everything was okay. It wasn't but nothing they could fix. So, good location close to the airport, staff trying hard to do their jobs, but all of us stuck in the worst upkept (un-upkept, that is in-kempt) facility I've ever seen. Read more
