      The location could not be any better. We could see the Dom from our window! The hotel pub was perfect, the room was modern and clean, and the restaurant had the best breakfast I've ever seen! The room was small, but hey, this is Europe, not the US. Restaurants, shops, and museums (including the chocolate museum) were all walkable. We are def. going to stay there again!

      You cannot stay closeer to the airport. You walk from the Hotel elevator across to the the departure gates. Staff was very helpful with directions on using the train to get into the city.

      It was a wonderful stay. The service industry in Germany varies greatly from that in the US. Keep your expectations in check. The hotel was very close to the Dom, train station, and several attractions we could simply walk to. Over all, it was a good value for this time of year.

    Very clean, modern and convenient, being only a 10 to 15 minute walk from the old town, and with the street cars passing by just one block away. Only... complaints were the following: 1) the room was too hot and temperature control didn't seem to work, so had to open window, 2) took a little while to get used to the sophisticated light / switch system.     Excellent location for me. I had to work 3 days at the Expo center (Messe Dusseldorf), and we could easily travel to the Alt Stadt from the hotel. Cab rides were never more than 8 Eur, which was very reaonable.

    Certainly for a business trip this was a good hotel to pick. The only downside is its distance from things in Duesseldorf, however, it is right by 2 U-bahn routes that will get you anywhere you need to go. The other thing that would have been nice would be to have a television newer than the 1990's.

I was on a regular business trip and I booked to leave on Good Friday afternoon instead of Thursday night so I could relax in the on the Friday morning.     We found rhe hotel comfortable and very clean. The walk into Dusseldorf was very easy, though the tram was only 39 metres away from the front door. The pool and facilities were very good. I am a coeliac and the hotel made me gluten free toast each morning at breakfast which was buffet style that allowed me to choose what I ate. It would be much better […] if hotels and restaurants would use (GF) with their menus to allow ordering that little bit better. Our only criticism of the hotel was the tv - there were NO English entertainment channels at all, just news programmes.     Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer hat nicht funktioniert. Es kam nur ein laues Lüftchen raus. Dadurch war es unerträglich warm im Zimmer. Sehr schade und eigentlich nicht vertretbar für ein 4-Sternehotel. Der Service wiederum war echt super. Aber im Sommer würde ich dieses Hotel nicht wieder buchen. Denn unsere Klimaanlage war kein Einzelfall!

    Hade en bra kampanj här på Hotels.com och jag behövde ett rum för att stanna en natt i Düsseldorf och såg kampanjen! Hotelet kändes lite slitet och kunde känna olika konstiga dofter i korridorerna! Men rummen var luktfria, tysta och bra! Så kan ändå rekommendera hotelet men läget vet jag inte om jag tyckte var det bästa.
