The bed was too firm, at least for my liking, and the pillows felt like they had tennis balls in them. But overall, the hotel is nice and clean and quiet.

This is a great hotel to stay at to not worry about a thing! Hotel staff great, breakfast great, and lots of food places nearby. I stayed to visit someone and it was really nice. Can really complain. The price was a little steep, but what isn't nowadays.

The only drawback I saw is the morning breakfast area. It was very crowded since there were several of us at the same time. However it was well stocked and a lady refilled everything while I was there. The desk clerk was very helpful in directing me to the highway to continue my travel. I don't usually stay in value hotels, but I have done so on occasion. However I was VERY surprised by the signage and policies in this hotel. When I checked in they photocopied my license and filed it. It actually made me concerned about identity theft. Then, in the room on the mirror was a sign that said something to the effect of "Your room will be […] checked after you check out. If there are items missing, we have your license on file and the police will be contacted." Wow, did that ever make me feel warm and cozy. It seems they must have had some bad experience with theft and vandalism, but I think they could find a way to be welcoming and protect their property at the same time. When we went to breakfast the bread and bagels and english muffins were in individual zip-lock bags. What's that all about? There was ONE donut in the case. In the morning my daughter and I wanted to swim, but a local arthritis group was using 2/3 of the pool, so our swimming experience was less than satisfactory. Outside of the hotel's control - came back to a dark hotel - was told power had been lost. Sporadic return of power - while everything else around the hotel had power. Had to make several attempts to get the room door to open with the electronic card locks. Personnel on duty (1?) was at a loss and could only say they were working on it. After about […] an hour waiting - finally got into the room and went to the front desk - turned in keys and was assured my credit card would not be processed. Did hear offers to move others to another nearby hotel, but that was not offered as an option. Left and drove back home - arriving early the next morning. Read more

When I stayed here the power went out from 7pm to 5 am We had to take pictures at a wedding at 9 am the next morning so we couldnt fully charge our camera's (luckily I had charged mine the night before) We had the electric company outside out window until it was fixed. we were on the bottom floor so we could have opened our window if it had a screen […] but it didnt. Then when the power came back on the A/C wasn't working right so we asked the lady at the desk antd she said "there is nothing i can do about it'' the pool is very tiny. the breakfast had lack of food. we were there early enough for them to have a ton of food. If your deciding factor is a pool or not def pick not and get the cheaper hotel. Read more

When I booked, this was the only hotel available in the area for the night we needed it. We ended up being quite pleased, especially for the price we paid. The desk manager was friendly and helpful, our children enjoyed the pool, and there was great pizza just next door.

This hotel is located very near the major intersections of local highways and downtown Jackson. It is easy to find your way from the hotel to restaurants and shopping in the city. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room cleaning and overall condition was excellent. The free breakfast was one of the better I have had for a hotel in this […] price range. Key card was needed to access the hotel by any entrance other than the main lobby, a nice security feature. Parking lot was well lit after dark. The free internet access was very fast and reliable. In-room microwave, frige, coffee pot, and hair dryer all were clean and in good working order. In summary, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the staff's friendliness. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Jackson area and would definitely stay here again myself. Read more

I grew up in this area, and come back frequently to visit family, but this was the first time I'd ever stayed in a hotel, as I usually stay with family. However, staying at my mom's house is just not as comfortable as it used to be, so I wanted an alternative and was looking for someplace with an indoor pool so my nieces could stay with me and have […] some fun. This was the only hotel in the area with indoor swimming, and while it was crowded due to parties in the pool area, it was still pleasant and we had a good time. Some of the other guests were a bit loud, and the rooms aren't soundproofed very well, but otherwise it was a good stay. The hotel is conveniently located near the highway, with a movie theater and restaurant within walking distance, several shopping options nearby (but don't expect upscale shopping...Wal-Mart, a few grocery stores, and some small clothing shops) and several options for food. Lots of fast food choices, with a couple of sit-down locations as well. I highly recommend driving a couple miles to Giovanni's Pizza if you're in the mood for good pizza! Read more

The decorating wasn't great, but I was impressed at how clean the room was (immaculate) and the bed was awesome! It looks like they got new mattresses, blankets, and pillows recently and so my husband and I slept great! The pool wasn't much (no deep end or hot tub) but that area also was clean and not overcrowded.
