After I checked in, I was a little apprehensive to see a man sitting ourside on the walkway next door to my room. But I had no problem. The room was very dated & worn, but clean & AC cooled. It is an excellent location to get on & off I-20.

The service people were nice and helpful. The room was dated and the bathroom faucet was broke so we left the water dripping all nite. Outside in the parking lit people ere honking their horns for no reason. I don't think we will be back.

Our suite was adjacent to rooms being rennovated. In spite of that, it was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Seemed enthusiastic about giving good service! Wireless internet barely had a signal, so hopefully when the remodel is finished, additional routers will be in place. Hotel could and would not provide enough towels for occupants in room. I had 3 rooms for 2 nights each. When they were able to find one extra, it smelled so bad you could not use it. One of my rooms the hot water would not shut off in the shower. When someone came to fix it, they actual broke it so the water would not only shut off but would not come […] on any further so we were unable to use the shower and had to go to one of our other rooms. They said nothing about it. There were activities going on outside the hotel that made the enviroment feel unsafe. Some of the non-smoking rooms still smelled like smoke. When we left, the socks that we had walked around in while in the room, had to be thrown away because of the dirt on the bottom. It was truely one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. This place is ok if you only need a place to sleep for one night, but don't expect much. My room had NO towels so I had to go to the front desk to get those. Carpet separating from the walls. Needs some major work bad. If you seek a nicer place to stay don't stay here.

Location was very convenient and the view of the river and bridge was interesting (though not from my room, which looked out on the Waffle House). The bathroom wallpaper was damaged from an upstairs leak and the floor was a bit sticky but otherwise the room was recently refurbished and clean. A good, inexpensive overnight stop.

Very, very clean, great view from your room of Mississippi River and Bridge, Waffle House next door, quick on and off interstate, very close to casinos and battleground (10 minutes).

This motel really needs some serious maintenance. We were on the first floor, the flooring apparently had to be dug up at some point. They put the carpeting right over a ditch, about 4" wide and 1 1/2 deep. It really was not fun trying to navigate.

Clean room and courteous employees. Well worth the money spent for the stay and the cont. breakfast. The hotel is right beside the Mississippi river and Interstate 20.

If you want a clean simple Hotel, this Days Inn is for you. Close to the Casinos and the Civil War Battlefield. Exllcent view of the Mississippi. The Waffle House next door makes getting a hot breakfast easy.

Staff was great. We stayed two nights, one night each a week apart. First room bed should have put in the dumpster. Was like watching an old "I Love Lucy" episode where Fred and Ethyl roll into the center of the mattress and sink out of sight. Second room was sort of a mini-suite and the bed was great, as was the view of the Mississippi river. I called ahead to let Days Inn know that we would be checking in late that evening. They said no problem. When we got there, it was late but the lady behind the counter was so very friendly and accomodating. We were met with a smile and great service even at that late hour. When I checked in, the clerk asked to rescan my card for an additional charge. When I explained that I had already paid, she said she knew, and it wouldn't be much more. I refused, and she said she would have to call for guidance. Finally she let me go without charging my card. The "continental breakfast" consisted of small boxes of cereal, packets […] of instant oats and grits, and a few packaged danishes. Even less than I've come to expect. The hotel was a little run down, but the room was adequately clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located near downtown Vicksburg and near several casinos.
