Found out upon late-night arrival that this hotel has no suites at all. Reserved on-line and followed through with a phone call. What we got was a room with queen size beds. This was not accommodating for a family with teenagers. Disappointed because hotel is persistent in calling the room a suite.

It was so nice. The workers were very nice, everybody seemed happy to see you and they seemed to care about your enjoyment at their hotel. The room was very clean, the pillows were great, housekeeping kept us supplied with towels and the in room toiletry dispensers was a cool touch. No running out of shampoo and conditioner! The location was kind of […] sucky, really far from downtown (about 20-30 minutes), but right on a strip that offered plenty of places to eat. But you didn't really need them because the hotel offered breakfast, dinner, AND adult beverages. Will stay at a Drury Inn again definitely. Oh, I did have trouble with the cable freezing, the lights did go out during our stay, and they didn't have my favorite channel, BRAVO, so keep that in mind as well. Read more

I originally picked this hotel because of another reviewer's mention of free popcorn. I love popcorn. I was SO SURPRISED that not only was there free popcorn but free HOT BREAKFAST and DINNER(SNACKS). This was truly a GOD SEND for me because I didn't have much money and had to come home for a family emergency-my father's funeral. To be able to stay […] and eat was terrific. Their marketing peopel are a Genius! In addition, you get to make long distance calls free up to one hour. Incredible! I wish and have requested they bring Drury Inn to California. It is the only hotel I would prefer to stay in from now on. My only complaint is that the chair in my room was dirty and looked old. The elevator could have used a mop and shine from all the prints and marks on the floor. the carpet throughout the hotel looked old and outdated. Could use a good shampooing or replacement with new carpet. But neither of these things were a deal breaker because the hospitality of the workers was superb, the location was ideal, right next to the freeway, the room was comfortable, no smells, no smoke smells, no bugs, no loud sounds. Location was great, right off the interstate. Ladies at the front desk were wonderful to deal with. Room was clean, beds were true queen size and looked to be maintained well. Did not go to pool due to lots of teenage kids there that evening. Best low cost hotel I have stayed in in Memphis, will stay again.

Staff was very nice and helpful. It is in great location with several places to eat close by. The breakfast and snacks in afternoon where both great. Only drawback at all to hotel was that it was an older location but besides that everything was great about stay there.

We were very satisfied. All of the hotel staff were very friendly and professional. We were checked in immediately upon arriving in late afternoon and our room was great - clean, comfortable. The free food was actually very good and plentiful and varied - delicious oatmeal! We had one incident where there was some party noise in the room directly below […] us one night. I walked down to the front desk at 1230am or so to report it. It had already been reported by another guest and by the time I returned to my room, all was quiet and remained so for the rest of the night. Hotel people were great. If i would have paid through drury i would have been given my money back there were yellow stains on both my comforter and bed blanket, yuck. We stay in a lot of hotels for business travel, and the cleanliness of a guest room is one of our top priorities. This Drury Inn was immaculate. While the room was a tad dated, and the bed could have been more comfy, it was spotless and smelled clean without smelling inordinately of chemicals. The staff are all wonderful and very helpful: My husband […] left his down pillow when we checked out, and on calling them that night after discovering our error, they tracked it down and held it for us to collect a few days later. I've never had a hotel find anything we've ever forgotten, so this was a real plus. Additionally, we are not fans of the free hotel breakfast. They're usually awful: prefab fare with little to recommend. At this Drury Inn, they had scrambled eggs and a full breakfast that was a cut above most hotel provided fare. We were in town to run the St Jude's Marathon. Hoping for some rest afterwards, we realized just where we were. Our room faced the indoor pool and the noise up until 9-10pm was unbearable. My hubby and I went on a date night and booked this hotel, it's very nice with great amenities and extras like a hot tub and free dinner and drinks, and hot breakfast :) The gym is tiny, but good enough for a night or two stay. Our room was cozy, smelt good and had everything we needed. Our only complaint is the pool and hot tub closed at 10 pm and […] we didn't get in till late and were really wanting to enjoy a swim! We swam before checkout in the morning instead. The hallway outside of our room smelt like vomit too but we understand things happen. Overall we enjoyed our stay and even parking was secure.
