I have stayed at this hotel many times and have always been treated very well. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate their guests. Would not hesitate to recommend to others.

We booked a room with a spa for our annual anniversary trip. The hotel was close to the edge of the town and very easy to find and very accessible to the entire area. Many of the upgrades that this chain advertised showed in our accommodation. The sound-proofing they touted didn't quite live up as advertised, as a separation anxious puppy was left in the room next door (The people in question weren't gone much more than a couple hours, but we were glad they didn't stay out late.). We noticed a cracked tile by the spa and there was some paper waste left on the floor by a previous guest. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Some Econo lodges are not kept up to date. This is a delightful exception. Highly recommended. The view of the lake is wonderful.

For some reason, all of my credit cards would not work when I checked in. The desk clerk was heplful annd we worked out a cash payment. The cards all worked the following morning and I suspect the problem was at the desk rather than 4 credit card companies.

The hotel was clean with friendly staff and nice view. The breakfast was minimal and, the place was a bit pricy for what it was, but I understand the town was full at the time we were there.

The only problem with the hotel was that I was charged after I left for a room we already paid for. They had immediately realized their mistake, however, and quickly credited my card for their error. It had a great atmosphere and was close to a lot of restaurants and businesses

All of the rooms are non-smoking, but the previously smoking rooms had just been transitioned to non-smoking. So the room that was assigned to me smelled heavily of smoke. The front desk staff was able to switch me to a new room, though. The breakfast was pretty weak. There wasn't even fresh fruit available. They also did not replenish the stocks of […] what they did have. I was there for just two nights and in that time, they ran out of yogurt, milk, and waffles. The description of the hotel was a little misleading -- while it was on the Bay, there was no path available for walking/running. The location was great -- very convenient to downtown. Read more

I would stay at the Econo Lodge in Menominee again if I were to be in the area. The price was resonable and the room very comfortable. It was quiet and close to restaurants which was an added convenience.
