We really liked San Pedro Inn & Suites. It was perfect for our over-night stay before our cruise. The price that we paid for the room was a good value. The staff was friendly. We were suprised that such a good breakfast was included in the price of our room.
Location.
The Hotel Palomar Los Angeles Westwood in Los Angeles, Calif., is located on Wilshire Boulevard four blocks from Westwood Village's movie multiplexes, restaurants, and cafes and boutiques. The hotel is six blocks from UCLA and approximately one mile from Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive.
Hotel Features.
This 19-story Los Angeles hotel includes a heated outdoor pool and spa tub, sundeck and poolside drink service. A 24-hour fitness facility includes cardiovascular and weight-training equipment. BLVD 16 serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Complimentary high-speed Internet access is provided throughout the hotel.
Guestrooms.
The hotel's 264 guestrooms are decorated in a rich color scheme of taupes, charcoal grays and chocolate browns. All rooms offer 42-inch LCD televisions, iHome docking stations, complimentary wireless Internet access and fully stocked honor bar with organic options. Other amenities include bathrobes, spa toiletries, turndown service (on request) and laptop-size safes. Suites also feature Fuji spa tubs.

Amazing service - bell hop gave us an overview of the hotel after dropping off our bags when we arrived and put our bags in the car so quick we didn't even realize it when we left. Never seemed to expect tips. Free wine from 5-6pm. We brought our 2 dogs (40 and 60 lbs each) and they loved taking walks among the beautiful houses in the neighborhood right […] behind the hotel. No extra fees or pet restrictions (although if they cause damage you're fully responsible). Almost everyone in the hotel had a pet. Pool area is small and doesn't seem to get a lot of sun, but location is very convienant. Will stay there again for sure! Read more

The hotel is very nice, but the one restaurant is a little pricey and there is very little within walking distance. Very convienent location on Wilshire.

Wonderful staff ..everyone including the parking valets, bellmen, front desk to housekeeping were so nice and helpful. The rooms very well appointed and the location is close to everything. A great value as well...

There were, however, a few room maintenance details that needed attention. Light bulbs were burned out in two of the fixtures, and the furniture was missing some hardware. "Credit Card was charged twice!!!"
The hotel lights didn't work, so the bell man said he would send up an engineer which never happened. My credit card was charged twice, 6 days later still has not been returned!! The valet guy didn't have change so took the large bill and walked into the hotel. "Best Pet Friendly Hotel"
My husband and I have stayed here twice with our dogs and LOVE IT!! We always have the best time and never feel like we are staying at a "pet friendly" hotel! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. An excellent choice for the hip-crowd. Breakfast was good except the bacon was fatty and had no flavor - but every pig is different! Only complaint was the car vale t- call an hour ahead to get your car!

other than being on a slightly sterile stretch of Wilshire Boulevard, this hotel was perfect in every way. "Needs a coffee shop"
Overall it was classic Kimpton; slightly self-conscious hipsterism. The only thing that would make a big difference is the availability of some kind of breakfast food to go with the free coffee in the lobby. Bagels, coffee cake, croissants...something.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff went our of their way to be helpful, and the room was excellent. Also appreciated the free wine at happy hour - great way to take a break from exploring LA.

Wonderful hotel. Great room, clean, quiet, great view and the bed was very comfortable. Restaurant presented good food. Great location! I look forward to staying there again!

Made a reservation last mintue and got a great deal on a great room! The staff meant all of my requests (a quite upper room with foam pillows) and gave me also a free upgrade. I work in this area a few times a year and will look to stay here again!

Loved everything about this hotel. The staff were incredible - so helpful and friendly. Lovely room and very convenient location.
Great hotel. Very hip. I have two gripes; the first, is that there is not much to do within walking distance. The Palomar is a terrific hotel - wine at night, coffee in the morning, clean, convenient, efficient staff. My only complaint was the pillows - which were too big and hard. The front desk told me I could have asked for other pillows - so they had a solution, just too late for me to know about it.

We got a very good price on the room and it was great for what it was. It is not a luxury hotel, rather a really nice mid-range place. People with allergies beware: lots of dogs.

"Great Hotel and wonderful Staff"
The hotel staff was amazing and the room was beyond comfortable. We had to stay with our 2 dogs and the hotel is completely pet friendly. My dogs each got a bed and water bowls. The floors were nice and quiet and all of the staff had smiles on their faces. Can't wait to stay again!

I liked this hotel and didn't have a problem with it, but I personally thought that it was wayyy over priced. The over night parking was outrageous and the hotel itself wasn't thy great. The location and staff were good which was nice.

Cons: Signs of wear throughout hotel, notably on painted doors and surfaces. Some toiletry items had "Made in xxx" stickers on them. Toilet paper was awful - rugged, sandpaper, cheap. Rooms are small. Like Motel6 size. View was at an angle (paid extra for view). Couldn't really see it from the bed well enough. Some nicer touches, accompanied by cheapness. Outrageous […] totals for ordering by room service. Expected much better quality/comfort for a brand that tries to set themselves higher than others. I believe this used to be a DoubleTree property. General cheapness and lack of quality throughout. Pros: Pool open until 10 Pool is pretty good for the location and lot space. Bed was comfy Dimmer on the standing room light - nice touch.
