"Perfect Location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
We were upgraded to a Harbor View. Just beautiful. The only thing we could complain about is....no free wi-fi. A hotel of this quality should be able to offer this for it's guests.

"A Vacation Saver"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
My wife and I stayed here at the end of our honeymoon, and this saved the trip. The rooms with the japanese sliding doors are great. The rooms are extremely spacious and come with a ton of amenities. I didn't know when I booked this room that there would be a full kitchen with a dishwasher, a washer and a dryer, and a balcony. The location is great, but the restaurants in the area are a bit pricey, so just be prepared for that.

"Wonderful hotel in the "Rocks""Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 28, 2012
We were so happy to stay at the Heritage Hotel. It is authentic Australian hotel living. The bathrooms were very clean, linen's were clean and fresh, and the staff could not have been more helpful. The location was the best-we walked everywhere. We were only minutes from the Opera house, gardens and ferries to the zoo. We ate dinner at the bar/restaurant every night-the pizza and meat pies were great. It rained three days straight when we stayed-the hot pot in the common room was a comfort to make tea any time we wanted. The breakfast was yogart in the mini-fridge, toast and jam and fruit. Quick and there when we wanted a early departure. If you are a modern, sterile person -you will be out of place here. If you want to experience true Austrailian hospitality in a historic location-you cant beat this hotel. You may even be lucky ,as we were, to join into the trivia games night and join the locals in "a pint".

"Best Overall Value for Money in Sydney"
This is a consistantly great place to stay. Very professional employees, high quality facilities including health club, and very central location. My preferred place to stay in Sydney without doubt.
"A really good hotel"
The location is very central and you have multiple forms of transportation available. The rooms are very big and comfortable. The staff is very nice. All round a good well run hotel.
"The BEST service I have ever had at a hotel"
If you want a great hotel AND great service, the Sheraton on the Park cannot be beat! I have traveled all over the world for business. The Sheraton on the Park was incredible... location, the room condition, the views of Hyde Park from my room... were all awesome. But more importantly the service from the front desk and concierge weer the best I have […] ever had. I would HIGHLY recommend it for work or vacation... Great hotel with a great attitude. Read more

"Sheraton on the Park, Sydney"
We went to the theatre and having a rare night without children decided to stay in the city. The Sheraton exceeded expectations, the room was elegant, the bathroom and walk in wardrobe both surprisingly large and the staff extremely helpful. It's a great location for a walk in the morning and for a shopping trip if you so desire. Highly recommended […] . Read more

"Close to everything"
Great hotel in a very convenient location. Immediately adjacent to Hyde Park, it is within walking distance of Darling Harbor, Circular Quay, Botanic Gardens. Excellent pool & fitness services. Very helpful conceirge services as well.
"Beautiful hotel, nice location"
The hotel was very pretty and up scale. Our room was large and very luxurious. They had free internet in the lobby. The included breakfast was very good. The hotel pool and fitness facility was very nice.
"Outstanding Hotel"
The hotel was convenient to transportation and all the sites in Sydney. We either walked or took public transportation everywhere. Concierge was very helpful and friendly. Hotel.com rate made this a great deal to begin with--add the 5 star rating and it was a spectacular deal. Highly recommend!

"Lovely Hotel Strange receptionist"
We arrived after a long trip from UK. I had booked online for my self, husband and sixteen yr old son. The receptionist asked if i wanted one bed or two. I said two, thinking two doubles. When arriving at our room we found two singles I returned to reception where the same receptionist told me there were no triple rooms. End of discussion. I asked […] where she thought one of us would sleep. She just shrugged. Luckily another receptionist came over, heard my plight and sent in a roll-away bed. I found it strange that I had booked for a party of three only to be given a twin then a camp bed after having to ask. Apart from that it war a lovely hotel. Read more
"POOR FRONT DESK Customer Service/GREAT Location,"
It really is all about customer service! The Front Desk Is the first impression a customer gets, The front line of defense. The front desk check-in staff were NOT on their A game. Slightly rude and indifferent. Had me standing there while they had a personal conversation. Addressed me in an unprofessional manner such as answering me as "cool" instead […] of yes. The hotel itself was beautiful and location was great. The Concierge Desk, Bellman, Executive Lounge and Restaurant Staff were FANTASTIC! Read more

"Sheraton - good value for high-end stay"
There are most likely cheaper places to stay in Sydney. However, this hotel was a great last-minute find for us spending a few days in Sydney. The hotel is well appointed, clean, staff was friendly and it is located within short walking distance to all the sights.

Only a one night stay but enough to convince me to use this hotel again
"holiday of a life time in Australia"
We stayed at the Sheraton for that last 3 nights in Sydney befor we left for london. The hotel is in a great position, being able to walk to most parts of central Sydney it was full 5 star in every way.A wonderfull end to our trip.
Nice stay just think the bars in yr hotel should open earlier as people that come 2yr hotel from overseas and interstate can relax with a drink as we have stayed at a lot of hotels.

"Sheraton on the Park -5 star comfort and location"
This is the third time we have stayed at Sheraton on the Park Sydney because it represents the highest standard for service, location and value for money. Amazingly convenient to the Sydney shopping precinct, and directly opposite iconic Hyde Park and St Mary's Cathedral for when you've finally had enough of shopping.Major bus routes across the street […] take you quickly to trendy Oxford St and Surry Hills. Our only choice when in Sydney! Read more

Even though I belong to Starwood and I booked with Hotels.com , I still acquired points and was upgraded. A good stay
"Great place another happy stay"
This is my favourite Sydney accommodation spot, I've stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 times in the past year. I live in Adelaide and work several days each month in Sydney, often I like to invite my wife over to spend a few days with me while I am travelling for work, we always come back to the Sheraton. Fantastic location, grand hotel, great restaurant, […] helpful staff. The only complaints I have is that the rooms, while typically 5 star are showing their age a little compared with newer establishments, the onsite carparking is a little expensive (unless you are lucky enough to snare a deal with included parking which always seem to be sold out when I look) and they don't offer enough towels as default. This trip I booked a room for myself and wife + 13 month old child - 2 towels don't really cut it in a 5 star hotel. Also slightly disappointed that the gym doesn't offer true 24 hours access (closes at 9pm) hotel staff are happy to offer access after hours, but really its a bit awkward to have to ask. Read more
"Sheraton on the Park - Wished we'd stayed longer"
This hotel was perfect in every way. We booked an amazing deal which included breakfast for not much more than the average hotels we'd previously stayed in. The standard side view room didn't have much of a view but wasn't unpleasant and window had lovely plantation shutters and electric black out blinds. Not sure if we were upgraded but it was a large […] attractively shaped suite room with sitting/study area and black marble bathroom off the corridor. The room was stylishly furnished and the bed was extremely comfortable. I loved the art deco style of the hotel and the tasteful carpets and colour scheme. Breakfast was excellent. I loved the bright restaurant with roof atrium overlooking Hyde Park and the differently styled dining areas. Location couldn't have been better for shopping, transport and walking to all the main tourist sights. Overall just wished we'd stayed more than one night. Read more
"Great Location- Hotel Sheraton perfect!"
Great staff, beautiful ambience, and so conveniently placed in a spot on position, close to city centre, all shops and city sights.
We enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton on the Park as it was very comfortable. The view was stunning and the location was most convenient for doing a spot of shopping and going to shows. We will stay again.
"Sheraton feeling good"
I arrived early, got for wifi in the business loung while I waited for my room, got upgraded cause no rooms ready, then got a late checkout. Great location can take the train from airport to St James and walk across the road.
"The Best, the best, the best !"
We stayed at the Sheraton on the Park in a studio room and had a fabulous time there. Great room, huge, comfy bed, walk in robe, beautiful bathroom, corner lounge with well stocked desk. Delicious breakfast, great location. Not one complaint!
"Perfect location for a Sydney stay"
A well located hotel that matched with excellent service and well appointed rooms. I could not have been any happier with my stay. The staff were more than helpful and made being away from home so much better.
"Sheraton on the Park - great with a few flaws"
The location, room quality and overall appearance of the hotel were superb. We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The Sydney CBD does have its challenges, however, and the surrounding neighbourhood had drunken locals swarming the footpath and throwing trash from the local MacDonalds all over the street one night. The concierge had to caution us on […] the nightlife and we were discouraged from entering quite a few establishments for safety reasons. We were also less than impressed with the room service and the service in the cafe - especially when we were ignored several times when we asked for refills. It didn't stop us from wanting to return, however, and we will certainly use it as a business/weekend stopover place in future. Read more

"Quality, convenient!"
Stayed here for one night, found it was in an excellent location, straight across from St James Station (handy for the airport train). Room was in great condition and very comfortable. Service was excellent! (Watch out for the AUD$9 charge for bottled water!)
"Sheraton, Sydney"
We had a greats visit to Sydney made really good by our stay and help of the staff. The restaurant served a brill buffet shinier and the sea food was brill.they sorganised a car and it all went very smoothly. Wi fi a bit expensive but that seems typical in aus.
