"Great stay for a week"
It was a great room. The only complaint I have is that they were doing construction on the second floor while I was there.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel for a short stay"
Although it takes around 15mins to get downtown, it's not too badly located. The room was pretty clean and comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"musty smell nonsmoking room smelld lke cigarettes"
it was affordable and satisfactory for the price breakfast would have been better with sausage patties and warm boiled eggsGenuine Expedia guest review
"I would stay again."
It was nice for what I paid and I would stay again. If I did stay again and needed a easy access room for a disabled family member, I would mention that. The hotel is on a hill and had several stairs. All rooms are not access able my elevator.Genuine Expedia guest review
the swimming pool was alot smaller than the pic showed. remodeled bathroom left hole in wall and didnt remodel the rest of the room. not alot of channels on the tv.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

the staff is good. felt safe had a pool and work out room laundry avaiable 1.25 to wash and same to dry. The breakfast is good. but the same thing everyday....excellent waffles tho!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Actually just fine"
I really cannot complain about this hotel. I am a bit of a hotel snob in a way so I would probably look more for Wyndhams, Hiltons, Marriotts (Hamptons and Microtels if I am on the cheap). I booked this hotel almost by error in a way and I was pleasantly surprised. Please be aware, this is NOT one of the aforementioned hotels, it is clearly a Days Inn. […] However, it was clean, obviously well priced, the staff was very friendly, and the location was comfortable (safe). It seemed that the clientele were college kids and people who just needed a place to sleep for the night. My only criticism is that there was a faint smell of a sort of air freshener that I believe was meant to mask the smoking rooms' smells. Nothing intolerable and I slept fine despite having bad allergies to simple smells. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The motel was not fancy, but it was clean and safe. I would stay there again if I were to be in Austin again. The staff was very helpful when help was needed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fair at best"
Not great but, fairGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel should have far better reviews attached to it. I was tentative based on the mediocre reviews but it was a really great price so I took the risk. The room was spotless, the linens are stylish, the staff was friendly and efficient, and HBO! The breakfast was great, too! Waffles, bagels, boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, bananas. Plus, it […] was CLEAN. Someone was watching over the breakfast area, cleaning up spills, refilling containers, organizing, wiping tables. I've never seen a cheap hotel take such thorough care of the place. Truly, I was beyond comfortable at this hotel and it's within 10-15 minutes of downtown Austin. I completely recommend it for someone looking for an affordable/safe/comfortable place to stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Requested hour early check in, got it. Staff was friendly. Overall, nice clean room for a good deal. Had no complaints from either guest :) tv was a little fuzzy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for 1 Night"
Central location for what I needed. Only there for one night and I was able to book the room the day before for what I feel was a fair rate. Odd room layout. Sink was to my immediate left as I entered the room. Comfortable bed. No problems. Standard breakfast. Good waffles. As stated before, good for 1 night.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great for the price"
Definitely an older hotel. It is maintained fairly well but better than what you would expect for the rate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for the Money"
When we arrived, we were unsure weather to stay or leave. We were waiting to check in with one person in front of us. The clerk did not acknowledge we had even walked in. So, while my other half waited, I decided to inspect the place. It honestly looked like they had never vacuumed the hall at all. It was pretty gross, but the room was perfect! Another […] thing, it is located at 183 and 35. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not terrible... but not great."
The room itself was adequate- nice size, mini fridge, desk, etc. The biggest problem I had at this hotel was that the internet connection was extremely slow. Streaming video was impossible, and even normal pageviews sometimes took several seconds to load. This would have been easier to forgive if there had been a better selection of TV channels, but […] that was not the case. The hotel has cable... sort of. You can get your fill of all three ESPN channels, but why not HGTV or Food Network, or even MSNBC? It's a small complaint, I know. But sometimes a man just wants to come back to the hotel after a hard day's work, watch Rachel Maddow, and then vegetate to some interior design shows. All in all, this hotel isn't terrible. But I think I'll try somewhere else on my next trip. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Ok for short term but I wouldn't probably stay here more than 2 days. Not the best neighborhood. Friendly staff. Clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice value for the price"

"clean hotel nice staff"
Room fine, clean comfortable. Breakfast very limited. Downside:walls paper thin guests too noisy. Good price, but no sleep due to noise in corridor.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is clean and well kept-up. The reason I gave it a 2 overall is that the clientele during my stay were extremely loud and noisy, stumbling back to their rooms at all hours of the night. That was my only negative experience, but sleep getting constantly broken up is not good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was happy with the service and quality of the rooms. It was very relaxing and quiet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nothing to complain about"
Good, fairly clean hotel that was cheap, and perfect for a quick trip. No real complaints.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"inexpensive hotel with great access to highways"
Pleasantly surprised when I went into my room. For this great low price I was expecting a lot less. Room was spacious and CLEAN. The included breakfast had plenty of options for all to enjoy. Definitely will check out this place for my next Austin trip.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good choice for a short visit to Austin"
Centrally located, clean rooms, friendly staff. Rooms are nicely appointed with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, a safe, and free wi-fi. Felt very safe during our visit. I would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"building not equipped for handicap accessibility"
There wewre stairs on every level and no way around it for people who have to use a wheel chair. No access to the pool and no restroom accessibility. There is also a huge slope in front of the building - hard to wheel up or down.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel, but"
Nice hotel, the room was clean. I was on the second floor, and the room above us, the people were pretty loud. My only real complaint would be the pool. It could've been a lot cleaner. Oh, and the continental breakfast was a joke.Genuine Expedia guest review
Not a pleasant experience. Customer Service was terrible, and rooms had an unpleasant smell. I will not book with this hotel again.Genuine Expedia guest review
The location was prime for what our visit consisted of.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not luxury, but can't beat the price"
The hotel itself was a little dingy and definitely not spectacular. However, I needed cheep, not 4 star. The staff was always so friendly and helpful. When I unexpectedly had to extend my stay they worked with me and even gave me a bit of a discount to help me out. I have to say that they took very good care of me.Genuine Expedia guest review
The first night we had to request a change of our sheets on the bed due to hair on the pillow. They came up promptly and changed the sheets. The other problem is that I left some pajamas hanging on the back of the bathroom door and forgot them. My husband called the hotel that afternoon and was told that no pajamas were found. That was the last place […] I wore those pajamas and there is no doubt in my mind that that's where they were left. We all checked our suitcases and no pajamas. It wouldn't be a big deal, except that my sister gave me those pajamas and I really wanted those pajamas back. Whoever cleaned that room when we left knows what happened to them, but they were not very helpful when we called!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to highway"
Although the hotel was old, I felt it was well maintained and in fact, they were replacing the toilets and that did not disrupt the stay. We went into Austin every day and it was very easy to get on and off the highway. Good value for the dollar.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I live in round rock about 20mins away, my freinds had a wedding at crowne plaza. It was too expensive to stay there, so we researched days inn on hotel.com. When I arrived there was people tailgaiting with music and drinking in the parking lot, the inside of the hotel is average, our room was clean for the price i paid I actually expected less. The […] mattress was nice and firm linens were fresh and air conditioner was functioning. Housekeeping was great we stepped out and we came back our room was nice and clean, compared to my freinds wo stayed at more expensive hotel who's room wasn't even cleaned. I also left my charger in the room, I spoke to Dennis who took my number and called me back when house keeping found it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Satisfied with stay"
Given the surrounding area, this is a good place to stay. Before reserving, I read through the comments and was a little skeptical. But overall it sounded like a good deal. We found our room very clean and the staff polite. Yes, the room was small but we didn't need floor space so that was no big deal. Yes, the hall smelled of cigarette smoke but once […] in our room you didn't even know it. The only thing that I personally was not satisfied with was the rooms air conditioner. I like it very cool and prefer the noise to run constantly. It was way too quiet for me when it kicked off. So we went to W-M, which is conveniently located around the block, and purchased me a small fan...problem solved! We stayed two nights and I would stay here again on our next visit, no question. This is the best place I have stayed this month while here for work. I am working east of Austin and the location is easy to manage. We got new toilets and showerheads this week (June '13). Can't beat it for the price of $50.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"would stay here again"
For the price, its a very good deal. I like the bright yellow patterned sheet, looks upbeat and clean. Pretty good flat screen tv, free wifi. The place is old, so you will notice carpet is not as clean, elevator is a bit slow. But overall not bad for a 2-star, low price place. The breakfast is mostly cereals, muffins, banana, coffee. They do offer self-service […] waffles, which is great. The location is at intercept of I35 and US290, make sure you go over the map before drive off, I ended up driving along 290 instead 35 the first day for a mile. The room was very small, crowded with dated furniture, and smelled of cigarettes and oder killing chemicals. The hotel was built on a slope and has 4 different levels. The cart for your luggage only goes to the first step which is only 1/4 of the stretch of rooms. They are so cheap there that the lady working the continental breakfeast stood there watching […] the clock waiting for it to hit 10 Oclock, then started rushing the food back to the kitchen while the room was rather full of people still wanting to have breakfeast. It was all to save a buck. Do you know how little a few rolls, ceral and coffe cost? And the accumuliated amount of money the hotel had taken in by the very people they didnt want to serve after 10? Ill never go back, and wish Id stayed somewhere else. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Out of 4 hotels that I checked in during my stay in Texas, this is my favorite. I feel safe and comfortable staying here. Internet is good. Service is excellent. Staffs are friendly. There are two computers and a printer at the lobby that you can use for FREE.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The lobby had a strong, unpleasant antiseptic smell. All the hallways had a musty smell. Our room had an exremely strong, unpleasant smell that was a sort of blend of orange peel and antiseptic.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nothing fancy, but clean and cozy."
My stay was fine. The room was pretty small when compared to most hotels I've stayed in, but the whole room was clean and did the job. The rooms were fine, it was the condition of the rest of the hotel that needed a bit of work.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great place for short family stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
When we checked into the room there were several problems. The room had an overwhelming citrus odor that seemed to be covering up the lack of effort by housekeeping. The walls were filthy dirty. I immediately called the desk and asked for some wash cloths. When the lady arrived with the cloths I informed her of the unacceptable status of the room. I […] requested some cleaning solution so that I could make the room adequate for our stay. I wouldn't recommend the hotel and will not stay here again. Had we not been penalized for canceling early we would have found somewhere else to stay. The breakfast was pretty simple but the highlight of our stay. The staff was accommodating but not overly so. In my opinion they should've gone out of their way to make up for the filthy conditions of the room. In addition, we didn't want housekeeping service during our stay and when we called for extra towels we were asked to come to the desk to fetch them ourselves. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"A good hotel for this price"
The hotel is very good for this price. First, the assistants were very friendly. Second, the room was clean. This was a pretty nice place to stay. We arrived late at night after a concert. Check in was quick. The room was clean and as expected. The hotel isn't brand new but it was in good condition. "I would stay here again, without hesitation"
I saw many reviews complaining about various things about this hotel. I was looking for a place to stay for a week that was centrally located in Austin. The bed was great, the room was clean, the staff were always friendly to me and I have no complaints. Some say the hotel is need of some updating/remodeling, and while I agree the hotel is a bit dated […] in some ways, it in no way detracted from my stay. I would stay here again, without hesitation. Most of the negative comments made me think the reviewers were expecting a Four Seasons/Waldorf Astoria type place. It's not a five star luxury resort, but it was a very enjoyable place to stay. "Wish I had known better"
Just O.K., that's all. Rooms were VERY small and hotels is old. It's a two-star property.....exactly as stated. I probably had urealistic expectations from other travelers' reviews and should've spent a bit more for a nicer room. Didn't realiaze how much that would matter since it was a quick overnighter, but you learn something new every day.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
