When we left for check out the person at the front desk was getting her hair done and her boyfriend was there from his job as a driver for a delivery company hanging around. She was also getting her nails done it was rather unprofessional. That's the only complaint we had.

I was disappointed by Econolodge as it wasn't exactly how it was advertised on Expedia. There was a nice pool but it wasn't heated. My daughter tried to take an evening swim but the water was so cold she couldn't. I put my foot into the pool to see and she was right it was definitely too cold. The hallway smelled really bad and I was thinking oh gosh […] I hope our room isn't like this but once inside we were pleasantly surprised to see that we actually had a really nice room complete with a little kitchenette. The room was clean and cozy. It was not ocean view as advertised and it was about a block and a half away from the beach so that too was disappointing. I really liked the location and the pool is nice for the kids. The beds were comfortable. The room was fairly clean but it could have been better. There was no wifi in the room. The outdoor shower had no hot water.

We booked the room for our granddaughter for "Beach Week" and I was disappointed when she told me that the room had not been cleaned, clean towels put in it or the trash taken out for the five nights she was there. She went to the desk several times and told me she also called the desk and nothing was done. She took out the trash herself. Also, I was […] told that as she was not 18 I had to come and check her in and return and check her out. I drove 200 miles round trip each to do both and upon returning to check her out to find she had already checked out herself so obviously I did not need to make the return trip. We recently took our family of 6 to Ocean City. The Econo Lodge was right on the the Md./ De. line. And about a block from the beach (which was great!!!) Our room was clean and comfy. The hotel is nice, great for the money! The location is a little far but the bus is right across the street if you don't want to ride your car up and down the strip,there is lots to do in OC and this is my second year in a row staying here and I recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to spend a ton on a room for your stay.

The hotel is a good 20 minutes drive from the main broadwalk area, but it wasn't a problem finding parking and the scenic drive was nice! Right between OC and Delaware beaches. Quiet family oriented neighborhood with great walk/run path nearby. Walk across the street to mini golf. Dinner at Nantuckets or Mancini’s wood fired Italian less than a 1/2 mile up Coastal Hwy in DE.

Stayed in Ocean City, Md at the Econo last minute with my kids. Great location, friendly staff, clean and fun. The place was jumping with fun. Tiki bar was very nice and the restaurant was reasonable and very good. Would recommend this to anyone.

Come here every time we visit OCMD, cheaper than most, if you have a car or rent bicycles/scooters, it's one of the best spots, it's still on the strip, access to anything you want, bike rentals 3 blocks up, right near a sunsations, movie theatre (night time or if it rains), candy kitchen, the golf course and water park across from hotel are kinda sucky, […] but it's still a great hotel, you can check out OC and the delaware attractions too, also the beach is just the same as the rest of OC , but way less crowded!!!
