Location.
Situated in the countryside amid a birch forest and cottages, and with its own golf course, Moscow Country Club is approximately 40 kilometres from central Moscow. Shermetevo-2 Airport (MOW) is 35 kilometres from the hotel, a drive of around 45 minutes.
Hotel Features.
The hotel offers several eateries, including a la carte dining in the Four Seasons with its covered winter garden; the Golf Restaurant, which overlooks the course; and lighter meals in the informal Sports Bar. With Russia's only 18-hole, professional level golf course (host to the Moscow Open) the hotel's premier attraction is golf, but it offers a host of alternative recreational activities for non-golfers. These include a swimming lake that freezes for skating in winter, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, football and basketball, squash, aerobics, fitness equipment, and cross-country skiing. Down by the lake, there is a free-standing rock-climbing wall, while a pool table and arcade car-racing games can be found in the basement of the main recreation building.
