Terrible perfume_like smell. It was a "pet" room and our dog sneezed all night. It was so strong it bothered us the entire night. Not very friendly staff.

What we liked most was the quiet. Couldn't hear our neighbors or street noise. Next door was a dog and we couldn't hear him barking unless we opened our door. We arrived late, about nine at night, tired from a long day. The room was clean but definitely not immaculate by any means. Also there was not an elevator and it was difficult carrying up my luggage to the room. Location was easy to find. Wouldn't use again.

Never saw much of staff so can't reply favorably to that question. The door did not latch well and so felt it need the chair placed in front of it.The bed sheet were clean. The room could have used a good scrub down.

Found most everything about the hotel / room to be well maintained and clean with a helpful and cheerful staff. Only thing was the internet connection, rm.128 on the corner had little to no connection signal, had to use the lobby anytime I needed to connect.

"what are you here for" then when I said we have a reservation "I need your license and name".No smile no "where are you headed?" We ended up having to go to Eugene for dinner being the 4th of July all the resaurants in Cottage Grove were closed. When we got […] back we had planned on using the hot tub and it was cold. The pool was even more cold. Our room was to have a mini-fridge for no charge and did not. The good...in the morning the deck clerk was very engaging and sweet. Everything was as I expected it to be with no problems or issues. Check in was handled by a very friendly staff person. who was very helpful. The room was OK, clean and neat, although limited in amenities. If you want to have a small frig & microwave for convenience this motel is not for you.

We booked this room cause it was pet friendly. They gave us a smoking room knowing that the comforter had cigarette burns. We were woken up by fleas and our poor dogs we covered with them. So they then changed our room to another smoking room that was not pet friendly . No fleas.
