Hall way smells like smoke .....room needs to be steam cleaned...needs new carpet ...tile missing all over the restroom ...neighborhood is very alarming...don't walk out of your room at night ....

Im a Longhorn season ticket holder , and my son attends UT so i travel to Austin just about every weekend..Dont bother getting there early..I arrieved at 2:30 p.m. after a 5 hour drive..only for them to tell me check in was at 3 and only at 3 or after 3!! This hotel is old,old,oldddd, unkept..there was mold all over the place,walls,ceiling,floor tile […] etc..etc..etc..carpet needs to be steam clean or replaced..restroom floor tiles craked,loose, or missing..And by the way the mattress felt, it would be a good quess this are the same ones from when this motel opened..It may be next to the interstate,but its surrounding neighbor hood is the projects..becareful at night in the parking lot, and inside the motel hallway ..this is by far the worst motel i have ever stayed in...will never stay in this one again..EVER!!!!! I booked two rooms. One room was great. The other was horrible. The smell was awful and the AC didn't work. In Austin, and in June, a broken AC isn't very good thing. Also, while the price was good, various parts of the hotel, especially the elevator, smelled like weed, which makes you wonder.

Pros: Good location. Immediately accessible from IH-35 Clean and well maintained room. Ice machine was helpful Cons: Parking is very tight. Breakfast is donuts, cereals and waffles only. If they had eggs and toast that would have helped.

We stayed overnight just to attend the Reggae Festival in Austin. Room was clean, showers worked, breakfast was ok, front desk was nice. Not much to say but it did the job and accomodated us for our trip. Would use again only for a overnight stay.

when i first arrived at my room i noticed the toilet flushed slowly by the morning it was stopped. so i notified the front desk & was told the maintenance person had not arrived yet so i could wait or come downstairs to get a plunger & do it myself. I've stayed at the Ramada before, but I never flew in to Austin. This large chain hotel has no shuttle service, so a cab ride will cost you $35.00. The hotel needs alot of renovating. The television had a poor reception and picture quality was even worst. The lobby furniture was old and displaced. This was the filthiest hotel I have stayed in in my life, including all the hotels I have stayed in around the world. The halls were littered with trash; there were groups of people sitting on the floor in the hallways eating food from styrofoam containers. The hotel was dirty, worn out, and the bed was so soft that it was a terrible night of sleep. The hair dryer in the bathroom did not work, the towels were worn and very old with one being dirt stained. The shower was good and did have hot water. The furniture was old and bruised. Breakfast was very limited in comparison to other chains.
