Quality Inn On the Beach - Ormond Beach

The hotel had some parking issues and there was a confusion at check out. It appears the check out issue was solved. The convenience was very nice and pool and beach was enjoyable.

Everything was great except that it was supposed to be a non-smoking room but you could smell cigerette smoke every time you entered the room.

The staff was helpful and polite. Room was in great condition, far enough away from the main part of Daytona to enjoy some relaxation but close enough to enjoy when you wanted to venture out.

Nice hotel, clean and good view of the ocean, breakfast room was tiny, hard to move around to get what you need, only one waffle grill with a long line, parking is crowded and very limited for large vehicles such as trucks and full size vans. Overall our stay was nice. Hotel next door is being repaired, woke up construction noise that was bearable.

We stayed here for our daughters cheer competition in Daytona. The price was great. Continental breakfast was more than adequate. Waffles, yogurt, bagels etc. the beach was beautiful. My family had a great time. We would stay again!

The hotel is older but the rooms have been nicely upgraded. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The cleanliness of the room was excellent. We had a problem with the A/C and had to change rooms, which was inconvenient. In addition, when checking the A/C staff left our room door ajar. Obviously, we were not happy and were thankful nothing was […] missing. The staff there was new and was uncertain on what to do. He was the only staff working in the evening, which didn't seem adequate. There were kids there on Spring break and they screamed and yelled, ran up and down the balconies and went swimming at 4 am. My expectations were not very high because of the moderate price of the room but I knew this going in. I did check the reviews and they all were positive. I was not looking for a high end place, I needed to visit my parents in the Ormond beach area for a just few days, but I wanted to stay on the beach. I was pleasantly surprised, this hotel exceded […] my expectations. Yes the building is outdated compared to the newer condo style hotels but the building looks well maintained and the rooms were modern and updated. Modern bathrooms and comfortable beds, Room had a fridge and microwave which I did not expect, almost all the rooms have a nice oceam view! The continental breakfast also exceeded my expectations, more than just some coffee and a few bagels: a variety of muffins, coffee cakes, 3 types of cereal, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, biscuts and gravy and you could make your own belgian waffles! The staff was pleasant and accomidating. This hotel is a good bargain for a decent hotel right on the beach. Read more

The great thing about this motel is that it is situated right on the beach. This was the second time we stayed there this summer. Prices are reasonable most of the time, just don't try to schedule during bike wek or you will pay full price. It looks alittle run down on the outside but the rooms are clean and comfortable. We stayed at this hotel several years ago. Since that time, they've done a lot of renovating. All of the outside as well as everything inside has been recently painted. The parking lot appeared to be recently sealed and restriped. Our bath room and kitchen area had marble floors...very nice. We had a HDTV with lots of channels to watch. The continental […] breakfast was good although the eating area is small. Our room was non-smoking and had a fresh smell to it upon arrival. They have lots of extra pillows on each bed. The rooms have upgraded window treatments. We had black out drapes, sheers, side panels with swags and cascade valance. They're some of the nicest window treatments we've seen, even at more expensive hotels. They have coffee and hot tea available 24 hours a day in the lobby. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms definetly need updated, old decor and furniture. Our frig door was bent so it didnt keep cold , freezer part did work. Room just smelled and looked old. One of the beds had not been changed at all, but after I located maid she did it right away and was very apologetic and pleasant. It was kept up well for an older hotel. Housekeeping could use some pointers. Bathroom was left uncleaned. It appeared clean, but there was a dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower head. The vanity hadn't been wiped off, there was soap dried on the vanity near the sink where it had been laid by previous room guest.
