The only complaint was the noise from the surrounding rooms. Someone next to my room had the radio on 24hrs, it was very annoying. Overall the hotel staff and accommodations were satisfactory.

Once you check in and go in and out the staff does not greet you and does not make eye contact. I guess that is ok with some but i want attentive, alert staff that says good morning, good evening etc. The cooking lady was great.

overall ok hotel, no complaints. receptionist was a bit rude upon arrival as if she was too busy to help but the gentleman that eventually help was alot friendlier.

The hotel is very old, or at least it appears so. The restrooms are very small and outdated. The rooms have an "old" smell to them. The service was very friendly, but it is certainly time for a remodel.

washed clothes on COLD. It was NOT COLD but HOT & ruined some clothes of mine. Manager offered no refund. Toilet was running & had to be fixed even though we had booked a week in advance. Asked for a footstool. We don't have one for that room was the only help I got. No, I was not happy & wish I knew how to contact their headquarters.

When we arrived, they had given our room to someone else because they had miscommunicated with Hotels.com (miscommunication on the part of the hotel). After they straightened everything out (15 minutes), they gave us our room. The room smelled of mildew. The smell came from the bathroom shower curtains. However, the hotel failed to perform to our liking. I travel to hotels all over the country (about 8 overnights per month), and we were not happy with the accommodations. I hope this helps. I'm having a horrible experience and am simply too tired from being on the road driving for 14 hours to explain it all.  A. Called Expedia and booked a king non-smoking room B. Arrived and was told I was given 2 queens non-smoking.  C. Went next door to IHOP for dinner, came back w/bags to go to room and was met by the attendant and informed we were […] incorrectly advised that our room was actually a single queen--and someone "may have been" smoking in there. D. Basic response to my unhappiness: Hotel overbooked, last room, I'll have to deal...also I can leave, but no refund. Oh--they ran an ionizer to remove smoke.  Get to room--smells like smoke! There's a "no smoking" sign on door--yet an ashtray on the desk! Toilet paper not filled--there were 2 empty rolls. Not enough linens. Wanted to take a bath and tub was too dirty--ended up showering--and found someone else's used hotel shampoo in the shwr--which leads me to believe the bathroom wasn't cleaned. Went to talk to the attendant--asking for tp and towels and complained again. All I got was excuses--no apology--just "I'll tell the manager to get on the 1st flr housekeeping in the morning". REALLY???? she then gave me 2 folded towels and 2 rolls of tp---when I got back to my room and went to hang the towels--they were very damp inside. Unbelievable!!!! No wonder their towels smell musty!  Even if I have to sleep in my rental car and shwr in a gas station bathroom I'll skip HIE. It'd be better than this!  Read more

There was a roach in the shower and the iron didn't work. Room was kind of run down. Staff was very friendly and check in was efficient.

my only complaint was we chose this hotel for the indoor pool so the kids could swim and the pool was very cold, the hot tub very dirty. Staff was friendly, rooms wee nice and well equipped, breakfast was good with lots of options.
