Drury Inn Union Station - St. Louis

This is the best hotel for families! We stayed here after going downtown and to a cards game. The meals provided for supper and breakfast helped so much and made this trip amazing! The only complaint is.. We couldnt stay longer!! We will be back very soon! Thanks DRURY INN! -

We really liked this hotel. It was very clean and the staff was friendly. This was our first stay in a Drury Hotel and we definitely liked it. The breakfast was good - potatoes, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy and waffles. This was the first time I've stayed at this motel and was highly impressed. The room was perfect (clean & comfortable), the staff were helpful, when I said I had never been there, they told me about all their amenities. My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel and it was beyond what we expected. We were so surprised. The location was great, the breakfast seemed to be endless. Was there over the NYE Weekend and it was so easy off 40/64 using the 20th & Chestnut Exit for zooming around town and the same getting back in after visiting friends & family. I appreciated how quite and clean everythings was too. Definately going back on my next visit.

Drury Inn at Union Station was wonderul! All of the extras like happy hour, free dinner and free breakfast truly set this hotel apart from others. My son was with me and is very afraid of elevators. They were so nice and moved us to the 1st floor.

It's a really great deal. They offer snacks, drinks, dinner and breakfast. We came for the evening with our kids, just for the pool. The pool was the only thing I was disappointed with during our stay. It was COLD! We really wanted to swim with the kids, but couldn't get out of the hot tub. :(

We (Dad, Mom, infant) stayed one night after coming in to town via AmTrak. Use a cab to get from the AmTrak depot to the hotel. Though it is a short distance, you likely don't want to walk it. The staff at the Drury are outstanding. Very friendly and helpful, and well prepared with dining recommendations etc. The building is lovely, particularly […] the lobby. We would have preferred a room with a single king-sized bed, however Expedia would not permit us to book one with a party of three. I should have asked to upgrade to a King room on arrival but did not. Note that the Drury is a "limited service" hotel. We did not see a bellhop (but carts were conveniently located by the back door drop off area). The complementary breakfast buffet, which was very good, was served on disposable tableware. I found the Drury Inn Union Station to have everything we needed for a comfortable stay at a very reasonable price. Read more

Very convenient location for concert at Scott Trade Center. Room was as expected from Drury. Appreciated front desk staff making reservation for Lombardo's for us. Only complaint...free breakfast buffet area a bit small. Food was very good though.

On the way from Chicago, all I was thinking was YMCA, because I heard that it was a renovated YMCA building. But upon driving up, I was first off, happy and surprised that the parking, though near Downtown, was not only free to hotel guests, but also in a parking garage with the best spots reserved for the hotel guests. GOOD START for those of us who […] know what it's like to park in Downtown Chicago! My wife and I hadn't visited St. Louis in decades, so they helped us by printing out directions for us and being familiar with the places that we wanted to go, which was so cool. Augusta, Don, Freddie and the rest of the Staff were Fantastic! I was admittedly taken aback by their Kindness, Attentiveness and Professionalism. The hotel also served great free breakfasts, evening snacks and nice drinks, and there, the Serving Staff was great too. The rooms were nice and clean with free WIFI, the bed felt great, the pool was nice and the lobby had this polished Train Station theme to it (in my opinion). And again, I must direct attention to the Staff, because free extras are one thing, but a nice and helpful goes much further in my book. They know what they're doing! The Drury Inn at Union Station is really clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. I don't know that I have ever been made to feel more welcome at a hotel than Kevin did when I checked in. The indoor pool and hot tub is a nice bonus, and a great place to relax. Accessibility to Union Station is a plus, with several good restaurants close by as well. […] Lots of attractions are within walking distance, including Busch Stadium, the Arch, and the City Museum. Free parking is a nice perk, but the breakfast bar is even better. There are plenty of offerings, the food is fresh and hot, plenty of seats are available, and the staff is really friendly. Even better are the evening cocktails...and food. I saw several people skip dinner to eat what was offered by the hotel. Food such as meatballs and pasta, hot dogs, soup, nachos, baked potatoes, salad, and celery and carrot sticks for those who want them. A couple of beers and a plate of meatballs and celery sticks while watching a ballgame on TV is a nice option to have. The rooms are nice, but could be bigger. If you have a family of four, for example, it's a little cramped. Other than that, I cannot imagine anyone having a complaint about this place.
