"Wonderful Hotel - Great Staff!"
This was my second stay at Hotel Vintage Park in Seattle and I loved it. The staff is wonderful and even though they were still completing the remodel of the hotel I had not one single problem!Genuine Expedia guest review
"A splendid Night"
We stayed here because we did the Big Climb at the Columbia Tower and my wife was doing the NW Women's Show.Genuine Expedia guest review
"bad experience ever"
the wine reception is a joke. its only between 5-6PM and you will have nothing if you miss the time. I paid money but get nothing. the hotel said "why don;t you come on time?" Even worse, the hotel is under construction and i can hear the noise in the morning and smell the painting in my room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Challenges with water temperature"
We stayed for two nights over the weekend and were out and about quite a bit. The rooms are tasteful and comfortable. It was the first time that we had an unpleasant experience at a Kimpton. On both mornings it was difficult to impossible to get warm or hot water out of the shower even though the sink in the bathroom had hot water. We had a king bed […] but the bathroom was really designed for a single occupant. There was only a little bit of space around the sink and the shelf below the sink was a grid and toiletries fell through. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Upon arriving at the hotel, the lobby was a mess. Under Construction. First impression was not good. Valet attendants were great as well as the check-in staff. We booked through Expedia. What we paid for was NOT what they gave us. We booked for a King Corner Deluxe room. They put us in a Queen Special needs room. Not happy at all. They blamed Expedia […] that they were overbooked. But they made it right for us the next night. They moved us to a better room. The King Bedroom Was nice but the furniture in the living room was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was very nice, a separate tub and shower. All fine and good if we could have enjoyed it. A cool Jacuzzi tub that we could only have just barely warm water. The next morning there was no hot water at all. Now with all the problems we encountered, wouldn't you think they would have refund at least one nights stay? But no. All they wanted to do was comp us parking. We will never return. It would have been nice to speak to a Manager. Never one to be seen. This is supposed to be a Kimpton Hotel. Shameful! Everyone should be refunded for the hot water fiasco on 3/13-3/14. But I suppose the owner is too greedy. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice stay in Seattle"
Small hotel in great location. Hotel staff was helpful with restaurant recommendations and taxi service. Would stay there again on future trips to the city.Genuine Expedia guest review
The lobby was not finished so it was quite akward when you got coffee and etc. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Need more lights in the bathroom.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
there is a lot of road construction in the area which made it difficult to get to/from the hotel. there is construction at the hotel so the restaurant was closed while we were there. The room was very nice and very quiet and the location was convenient to downtown and the waterfront.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"within walking distance of every thing we wanted"
fantastic hotel!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I thought my stay was horrible The restaurant/bar was closed with no notification before booking, the room was extremely small and the bathroom was barely movable in. The construction caused dust and disturbances. The pounding began at 7am on a saturday!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
STAFF WAS GREAT AND VERY HELPFUL WITH TRAVEL ACCOMMODATIONS WINE TASTING WAS A NICE TOUCH EVERY EVENING! WOULD STAY AGAIN AND RECOMMENDGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Loved this hotel!"
We had a terrific time and would definitely stay again! Wine hour was great! Location was fabulous. Quick walk to light rail and shopping. New remodeled rooms are so cute. Definitely recommended.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lack of concerns about guests"
I stay in Kimpton hotels for their restaurants. I arrived for a 3 day stay and the restaurant closed the day after I arrived (remodeling for a week). Horrible loud noises from early morning until evening (concrete saws and banging) for the remodel (hotel lobby was gutted -- bare concrete). Water was shut off for several hours the first day. On the morning […] I left there was no hot water (they were having trouble with the water heater). Cell phone reception in the room was so poor I had to use the phone in the hotel-- after one conversation I had a $113 phone bill. Manager offered a bottle of wine and $20 voucher for my "next" visit. I think they should have closed the hotel for the few days of remodeling. They obviously care more for the revenue stream than their guest's needs. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable hotel with good value overall"
Very nice stay. Only complaint was smallish bathroom and minimal workout room. No hot tub or sauna either.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Will be staying here again!"
It was great overall! They were under construction which comes with the territory and the new hotel designs these days, so my only complaint is that there wasn't any temporary seating in the lobby to sit at while waiting for our car or to meet other members of our group. I expect this will be fixed when the construction is done. The new room décor was […] very tasteful and the place was as quiet as I expect from a hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice, but will not return."
The hotel is located right next to what appeared to be a half-way house. There were no problems with the people hanging out on the street next door, but that's not where my wife and I wanted to be while on vacation. The hotel is going through renovations right now and it certainly looked like a construction zone. No banging or other noise, but again, […] definitely not what you want while on vacation. The bathroom floor was sticky, which made me think of what was on the floor. Whatever it was, it was not clean. Sorry, but I would not recommend this hotel to any of my family or friends. "Great location - downtown Seattle!"
Hotel is currently under renovation, but they were still very accommodating. Coffee and hot tea available in the lobby each morning - - and the coffee was good! My room was on a floor that had been renovated, and it was all very nice. Room was small, but clean and very comfortable. Hotel also has a restaurant that is nice; good breakfast!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Wonderful Boutique Hotel in Downtown Seattle"
The hotel was under construction, however, the staff and rooms were wonderful. We enjoyed the 5pm wine reception. The overnight room was clean and nicely laid out. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great downtown location."
First of all. The renovations are not a problem at all. They were minimal and there was barely any noise or problems associated with them. The hotel staff are all exceptionally friendly and helpful in everything from directions to helping you get tickets to a sports game. I was really surprised by how helpful every one was and how genuinely friendly […] they were as well. I stayed with my girlfriend for one night after a party and wish I stayed there a second night it was that nice. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Blot on Kimpton name"
This hotel is under major renovation, including tearing out the entire lobby and renovating some of the floors. This was not disclosed in their advertisements. Lack of a lobby is highly inconvenient since there is no place to meet with other guests or business associates. Their nightly happy hour is now jammed into an old room on an unrenovated floor. […] Very crowded. Also one must take luggage up to temporary office when checking in rather than just stopping in lobby. Loud noise was present all day-don't expect to nap or sleep late. This hotel is sub quality for the Kimpton chain. Rooms have always been small, but now they are painted a dark brown making them even more claustrophic. They don't have coffee makers in the room-terrible with their prices and claim to be "boutique". They also charge $39 per day for parking, which is much too high. This hotel needs to stop spouting the usual Kimpton marketing messages and start providing better service. Restaurant is mediocre and over priced. It was also affected by the renovations. I felt I was staying in a slum YMCA or worse. I've stayed several times in the past but won't stay again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"It was ok"
For the price i would probably expect more, but the hotel, overall was OK. They are doing major renovations atm so they don't have a lobby; instead a guest room is service as the lobby. I got the sense this hotel was really out to nickle and dime users as EVERYTHING in the room costs money if you use it, but the price list is neatly hidden away. Parking […] is also $40/day which seems high on top of the room rate since the rooms are very small. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I like this hotel's staff, very helpful and location is also excellent. However, the room is a little small, and no coffee machine or any coffee bag or tea bag provided.Genuine Expedia guest review
TV is a little funky placement in the room and the desk chair blocks the door to the bathroom so navigating is a challenge. A pocket door or an inward opening bathroom door would have been a lot smarter. Room service options are nice - you can get a relatively light meal and they have a lot of wine varieties by the glass.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It will be a nice hotel"
This hotel was being remodeled and a lot of work was on-going while we were there. The lobby was completely gutted and the staff was in a regular room on the 3rd floor. We wished that this would have been announced when we made our reservations, as we may have thought about staying at another hotel. At the least a discount should have been offered.Genuine Expedia guest review
Our room was absolutely beautiful. The decor was gorgeous. The restaurant food was delisious but a bit expensive. I was surprised at the cost of parking at the hotel, $39.00 per night, wow! Of course we could not see the lobby because they are remodeling.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great downtown location"
We brought our 9 month old with us for a 4 day conference in Seattle. The staff made it easy to bring the baby along - they provided a pack 'n play - type crib with plenty of extra sheets and towels. They were also helpful in arranging cab rides with car seats (so we didn't have to bring one with us). Overall, everyone was friendly, the room was clean, […] and we would definitely stay here again. "Great place to stay!"
Hotel is still undergoing renovation, but seems to be almost done. I got a freshly remodeled room, and it was great! Super clean, nice hi-tech style, quiet, warm and cozy. By far not the biggest hotel room I ever stayed in, but absolutely sufficient. The staff was super friendly and helpful too, thank you, guys!Genuine Expedia guest review
Excellent staff - very polite, helpful, and prompt. Made the stay very comfortable and a pleasure. The gym is quite small though. The rooms were very well appointed but they were a bit small too and the lighting was not as bright as I like it. They didn't have enough wall sockets and none by the bed. However, overall these were minor inconveniences. […] The hotel is well located in downtown and downtown is very walk-able and alive. The staff were excellent. Room service was great and very fast. We were quite surprised to arrive at our favorite hotel to find the lobby totally torn up for major remodel work! Had we known on making reservation we would have made other arrangements this time!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Wants a premium price for very dated ammenities"
Not what I expected for the price in the heart of Seattle. The property is in the middle of a remodel, which is probably a good thing, but nothing was said of the fact when I made my reservation. A big part of our visit was the Seattle Flower and Garden show followed by watching the opening of the 2014 Olympics in the hotel. Our TV did not work and […] we were moved to another room for a working set. The TV was cable only; no HD (not even 720, not to mention 1080), so the Olympic experience was lack-luster. We would have gone home a day early had we known. Bottom line the property will probably be better after the remodel, but I don't think we will be returning. The staff did try to help us as they could, but they simply had limited resources. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Beware until renovation complete!"
I had always wanted to stay at this hotel whilst in Seattle, and on this particular occasion found what appeared to be an excellent rate on a Monday night. Unfortunately it turned out the hotel in undergoing massive renovation, and there is no lobby. The lobby is a makeshift suite which has been re-purposed as the lobby. The valet staff was nowhere […] to be seen, taking upwards of 15 minutes to appear in order to get my car out of the parking garage. The room itself was barely a room at all. My fiance sat at the edge of the king sized bed, and it flipped up as if in a comedy movie. The bathroom smelled of a urinal, and the "complimentary robes" came with "complimentary pet odor" and appeared to have not been washed. The complimentary coffee bar which was supposedly open from 8AM to 10AM was closed at 9AM and when I asked where my coffee pot was in my room, they seemed to have forgotten to put in inside. All in all for what was supposed to be a luxury hotel in the heart of Seattle, I think I could have done better at a Motel Six. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
I live and work overseas. . . and had a three week vacation which I was really looking forward to. I spent a lot of time researching hotels to stay at in Seattle, and ended up choosing Hotel Vintage Park. Overall, I was disappointed. On a positive note, the hotel staff was great. The front desk receptionists were more than helpful. However, the condition […] of the hotel and the comfort of my room was not what I expected. There are renovations in progress, and they are much needed. I realize the theme of the hotel is "vintage," but everything is just outdated and old. While my room was spacious, my bed was hard, and the room wasn't relaxing. Not even a coffee maker or anything in the room. For the amount I paid, I certainly could get a nicer room in Seattle. Don't get me wrong. . . it wasn't horrible. . . just not nearly worth the price! It was just a typical hotel and room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"This place is a construction zone."
Why would anyone choose to stay in a hotel that has rubble for a lobby? Because they don't disclose the reno they have going on when you get the special price. Avoid.Genuine Expedia guest review
"No coffee maker."
It would be very helpful if we knew that a hotel was under construction prior to getting there. Woke up Saturday morning to banging and thumping noises. Was better on Sunday. The room didn't have a coffee maker. I don't prefer to communicate with the world until I have at least a cup of coffee. They wanted us to go up to another room for it. "Great location, close to farmer's market"
Staff was wonderful and once renovations are complete it should be much nicer. Our issue was the surprise of having to pay an additional fee for parking our car in their garage.Genuine Expedia guest review
Liked it a lot! Staff great, very accommodating.. Nice wine reception from 5-6. Great dinner and breakfast @ Tullios, the adjoining restaurant. Lovely corner room on 7th floor which was quite quiet. Liked the yoga mat and the comfy bathrobes. Walking distance to everything downtown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice hotel with warm atmosphere!"
We stayed 3 days in the hotel and enjoyed every minute being in it. Our room was perfectly cleaned. The hotel staff was very obliging. "Good location to visit downtown points."
4 star rating for this hotel is kind of too high comparing with those 4 star hotels near by.Genuine Expedia guest review
Spur of the moment booked a 2 night stay over the Christmas holiday at the Vintage Park. From the moment we entered the lobby we found the hotel and staff excellent. A romantic classy setting in the heart of downtown Seattle. I highly recommend this memorable place.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel - a couple important things!"
I loved our stay here - the room was large and comfortable, location is terrific and the staff is very helpful - going out of their way to make us comfortable. Two important points: the windows in the rooms do NOT open, unlike the notes listed on the Hotels.com website. If this is important to you, as it is to us, you'll need to pass on this hotel. […] Secondly, the walls are quite thin in this hotel. My husband is a light sleeper, and the guys next door decided to stay up into the wee hours chatting, so he couldn't sleep. We didn't complain to the front desk, as they weren't yelling, partying, or playing music - just talking - but he could hear every word of their conversation. We asked to be moved to another room the next day, but we were told that there were no rooms with thicker walls. Luckily, the room next door was empty during our second night! "Great service and good location"
Stayed one night to see a show downtown. Single queen room was a little on the small side, but the bed was comfortable and decor was nice. Great selection in the mini bar and snack drawer. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Stayed at corner room king with a view of the Seattle Public Library. It was wonderful & spacious. Bed was also comfy. On our last morning, went to Pikes Public Market by foot (about 5 blocks) & ate breakfast. Definitely would stay at this hotel again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent hotel in the middle of everywhere"
The hotel was nice, clean & cozy. Somewhat on the small scale, but I guess that's what you get in the middle of downtown Seattle. I would recommend to others & I would stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
I usually stay downtown but this location was PERFECT. Easy walking distance to downtown with all the restaurants and shopping, but away from the crowd, noise, and traffic. Extremely easy access onto and off of Interstate 5. I attended a football game at the stadium too and it was walkable and convenient. Took a cab back to the hotel, which was also […] very easy to do. Wine tasting hour was an unexpected bonus. Apparently pet friendly because i saw many pets during my stay. My room had no trace of pets though, so they clean really well. Comfortable clean rooms with robes and footie socks for guest use. Excellent front desk staff. I also liked that my room had a pull-out sofa bed. That is usually hard to find in a hotel. The whole living area was great. Couch, comfy chair, coffee table, tv...it was very roomy and comfortable even with a few friends over before the game. Absolutely a great experience, highly recommend this hotel. I will DEFINITELY be back. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
