I like this hotel's staff, very helpful and location is also excellent. However, the room is a little small, and no coffee machine or any coffee bag or tea bag provided.Genuine Expedia guest review
TV is a little funky placement in the room and the desk chair blocks the door to the bathroom so navigating is a challenge. A pocket door or an inward opening bathroom door would have been a lot smarter. Room service options are nice - you can get a relatively light meal and they have a lot of wine varieties by the glass.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It will be a nice hotel"
This hotel was being remodeled and a lot of work was on-going while we were there. The lobby was completely gutted and the staff was in a regular room on the 3rd floor. We wished that this would have been announced when we made our reservations, as we may have thought about staying at another hotel. At the least a discount should have been offered.Genuine Expedia guest review
Our room was absolutely beautiful. The decor was gorgeous. The restaurant food was delisious but a bit expensive. I was surprised at the cost of parking at the hotel, $39.00 per night, wow! Of course we could not see the lobby because they are remodeling.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great downtown location"
We brought our 9 month old with us for a 4 day conference in Seattle. The staff made it easy to bring the baby along - they provided a pack 'n play - type crib with plenty of extra sheets and towels. They were also helpful in arranging cab rides with car seats (so we didn't have to bring one with us). Overall, everyone was friendly, the room was clean, […] and we would definitely stay here again. "Great place to stay!"
Hotel is still undergoing renovation, but seems to be almost done. I got a freshly remodeled room, and it was great! Super clean, nice hi-tech style, quiet, warm and cozy. By far not the biggest hotel room I ever stayed in, but absolutely sufficient. The staff was super friendly and helpful too, thank you, guys!Genuine Expedia guest review
Excellent staff - very polite, helpful, and prompt. Made the stay very comfortable and a pleasure. The gym is quite small though. The rooms were very well appointed but they were a bit small too and the lighting was not as bright as I like it. They didn't have enough wall sockets and none by the bed. However, overall these were minor inconveniences. […] The hotel is well located in downtown and downtown is very walk-able and alive. The staff were excellent. Room service was great and very fast. We were quite surprised to arrive at our favorite hotel to find the lobby totally torn up for major remodel work! Had we known on making reservation we would have made other arrangements this time!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Wants a premium price for very dated ammenities"
Not what I expected for the price in the heart of Seattle. The property is in the middle of a remodel, which is probably a good thing, but nothing was said of the fact when I made my reservation. A big part of our visit was the Seattle Flower and Garden show followed by watching the opening of the 2014 Olympics in the hotel. Our TV did not work and […] we were moved to another room for a working set. The TV was cable only; no HD (not even 720, not to mention 1080), so the Olympic experience was lack-luster. We would have gone home a day early had we known. Bottom line the property will probably be better after the remodel, but I don't think we will be returning. The staff did try to help us as they could, but they simply had limited resources. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Beware until renovation complete!"
I had always wanted to stay at this hotel whilst in Seattle, and on this particular occasion found what appeared to be an excellent rate on a Monday night. Unfortunately it turned out the hotel in undergoing massive renovation, and there is no lobby. The lobby is a makeshift suite which has been re-purposed as the lobby. The valet staff was nowhere […] to be seen, taking upwards of 15 minutes to appear in order to get my car out of the parking garage. The room itself was barely a room at all. My fiance sat at the edge of the king sized bed, and it flipped up as if in a comedy movie. The bathroom smelled of a urinal, and the "complimentary robes" came with "complimentary pet odor" and appeared to have not been washed. The complimentary coffee bar which was supposedly open from 8AM to 10AM was closed at 9AM and when I asked where my coffee pot was in my room, they seemed to have forgotten to put in inside. All in all for what was supposed to be a luxury hotel in the heart of Seattle, I think I could have done better at a Motel Six. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
I live and work overseas. . . and had a three week vacation which I was really looking forward to. I spent a lot of time researching hotels to stay at in Seattle, and ended up choosing Hotel Vintage Park. Overall, I was disappointed. On a positive note, the hotel staff was great. The front desk receptionists were more than helpful. However, the condition […] of the hotel and the comfort of my room was not what I expected. There are renovations in progress, and they are much needed. I realize the theme of the hotel is "vintage," but everything is just outdated and old. While my room was spacious, my bed was hard, and the room wasn't relaxing. Not even a coffee maker or anything in the room. For the amount I paid, I certainly could get a nicer room in Seattle. Don't get me wrong. . . it wasn't horrible. . . just not nearly worth the price! It was just a typical hotel and room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"This place is a construction zone."
Why would anyone choose to stay in a hotel that has rubble for a lobby? Because they don't disclose the reno they have going on when you get the special price. Avoid.Genuine Expedia guest review
"No coffee maker."
It would be very helpful if we knew that a hotel was under construction prior to getting there. Woke up Saturday morning to banging and thumping noises. Was better on Sunday. The room didn't have a coffee maker. I don't prefer to communicate with the world until I have at least a cup of coffee. They wanted us to go up to another room for it. "Great location, close to farmer's market"
Staff was wonderful and once renovations are complete it should be much nicer. Our issue was the surprise of having to pay an additional fee for parking our car in their garage.Genuine Expedia guest review
Liked it a lot! Staff great, very accommodating.. Nice wine reception from 5-6. Great dinner and breakfast @ Tullios, the adjoining restaurant. Lovely corner room on 7th floor which was quite quiet. Liked the yoga mat and the comfy bathrobes. Walking distance to everything downtown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice hotel with warm atmosphere!"
We stayed 3 days in the hotel and enjoyed every minute being in it. Our room was perfectly cleaned. The hotel staff was very obliging. They helped to find not only the best restaurants, but even a professional hairdresser! I liked the idea with free coffee and tea in the hall. It is especially appreciated in winter :) We will definitely stay here in […] our future trip to Seattle ! I recommend this hotel!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good location to visit downtown points."
4 star rating for this hotel is kind of too high comparing with those 4 star hotels near by.Genuine Expedia guest review
Spur of the moment booked a 2 night stay over the Christmas holiday at the Vintage Park. From the moment we entered the lobby we found the hotel and staff excellent. A romantic classy setting in the heart of downtown Seattle. I highly recommend this memorable place.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel - a couple important things!"
I loved our stay here - the room was large and comfortable, location is terrific and the staff is very helpful - going out of their way to make us comfortable. Two important points: the windows in the rooms do NOT open, unlike the notes listed on the Hotels.com website. If this is important to you, as it is to us, you'll need to pass on this hotel. […] Secondly, the walls are quite thin in this hotel. My husband is a light sleeper, and the guys next door decided to stay up into the wee hours chatting, so he couldn't sleep. We didn't complain to the front desk, as they weren't yelling, partying, or playing music - just talking - but he could hear every word of their conversation. We asked to be moved to another room the next day, but we were told that there were no rooms with thicker walls. Luckily, the room next door was empty during our second night! "Great service and good location"
Stayed one night to see a show downtown. Single queen room was a little on the small side, but the bed was comfortable and decor was nice. Great selection in the mini bar and snack drawer. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Stayed at corner room king with a view of the Seattle Public Library. It was wonderful & spacious. Bed was also comfy. On our last morning, went to Pikes Public Market by foot (about 5 blocks) & ate breakfast. Definitely would stay at this hotel again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent hotel in the middle of everywhere"
The hotel was nice, clean & cozy. Somewhat on the small scale, but I guess that's what you get in the middle of downtown Seattle. I would recommend to others & I would stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
I usually stay downtown but this location was PERFECT. Easy walking distance to downtown with all the restaurants and shopping, but away from the crowd, noise, and traffic. Extremely easy access onto and off of Interstate 5. I attended a football game at the stadium too and it was walkable and convenient. Took a cab back to the hotel, which was also […] very easy to do. Wine tasting hour was an unexpected bonus. Apparently pet friendly because i saw many pets during my stay. My room had no trace of pets though, so they clean really well. Comfortable clean rooms with robes and footie socks for guest use. Excellent front desk staff. I also liked that my room had a pull-out sofa bed. That is usually hard to find in a hotel. The whole living area was great. Couch, comfy chair, coffee table, tv...it was very roomy and comfortable even with a few friends over before the game. Absolutely a great experience, highly recommend this hotel. I will DEFINITELY be back. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great staff and location"
Older hotel that has been updated quite nicely. Staff was wonderful...restaurant as well. Complaints are just general noise for a light sleeper due to old doors (space between jam that gives a small door vibration when others close theirs...just needs to be updated someday).Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very nice hotel in downtown Seattle"
The hotel was lovely, staff was very friendly. I liked the wine theme and although I unfortunately did not get to partake in the nightly happy hour due to being pregnant, it seemed quite nice! The coffee and flavored water provided in the lobby was a nice touch. I also liked that if you requested to not have cleaning service for environmental reasons […] they actually listened to you - and even gave you a $5 voucher for the restaurant. The food in the restaurant was great, although a little overpriced. The gym was small but perfect for getting a quick workout in. I would definitely go back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable beds to the max! Excellent!"
This hotel is warm and welcoming with the friendly staff and cozy lobby. The fireplace, colorful couch and chairs add to the ambiance. "In the Lap of Luxury"
We decided to spend a little more on this trip and get a nicer room, and we couldn't have been happier. Check in and check out was a breeze, and parking was beyond simple thanks to a friendly, enthusiastic staff. The room itself was wonderfully comfortable and well appointed (just don't touch the mini bar!). My only complaints would be a leaky shower […] head (which I informed them of as we left) and the movie ordering service on the television was slow to the point of freezing. But overall it was really great, and we'd do it again as a ritzier way to see Seattle. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Excellent location for everything downtown!"
We enjoyed warm greetings every time we came and went, prompt service, lovely wine hour between 5 and 6 pm, complimentary coffee in lobby in the morning. The staff was helpful with dining suggestions and needs. Really great. Unfortunately our room experience was mediocre. We stayed in 505 and there was significant street noise, even with earplugs. Pipe […] sounds and compressor on/off noise added to the difficulty with sleep. The curtains were tricky and required lots of pulling to cover all light (lights outside are bright all night). The bathroom sink had a large fracture crack going across half the basin. The first day it didn't bother me too much but as time went on it became annoying. It was unfortunate to gaze at this huge crack with every use. The sink and tub drains were slow and it caused backup with normal use. I seek to stay in Kimpton hotels wherever we go, whenever possible. The staff was great but, as I said, room 505 was disappointing. On a positive note, it was easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go! Some streets are kind of steep but the really tough ones can be avoided by walking a few extra blocks. It was chilly during our stay and I can't emphasize enough the value of a teapot in your room, which we didn't have. This hotel is great for people without mobility issues who are looking for a central location near convention center, restaurants, Pike Market, Nordstrom, tons of other shopping, the monorail to the Needle and much more! "Good stay, but wouldn't stay again"
Hotel was nice and clean, and staff was friendly. We chose this hotel because of its location -- it was within walking distance to every attraction we wanted to visit (Centurylink, Pike Place Market, restaurants/bars, shopping, etc.) so there was no need to rent a car. We would not stay at this hotel again however, as it does not have several amenities […] I would like to have included, such as breakfast (even a small selection of fruit or cheap pastries would have been fine) and Wifi (they charge $12/day). There are PLENTY of other hotels downtown in the same price range that likely would have been better. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

The hotel was very nice, the staff and on site restaurant were excellent.Hotel location was good for exploring Seattle. "Decline of a hotel"
I have been going here since shortly after it opened. I would estimate I have been here twenty or more nights through the years and this hotel is showing signs of wear and age. While it was bright and comfortable it is now dull and dowdy. It occurred to me that even though I have been a repeat guest through the years, there never seems to be some ability […] to gauge that and welcome you back. I seem to always get this kind of greeting: "Is this your first time here"? This time it was "Is this your first time in Seattle?" The first sign of decline are the towels. When new and fashionable, the towels are plentiful and bright and fluffy, these looked like they came from the YWCA down the street. The toilet seat was loose despite a three night stay and the maid coming in ostensibly to check on things twice a day. Don't think we will go back. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
