Drury Inn Terre Haute - Terre Haute

The stay was excellent. The location of the hotel was nearby a variety of restaurants and the hotel had easy access to I-70. Except for a few minor maintenance issues in the bathroom, the overall maintenance of the hotel was excellent. The hotel staff were very friendly and supportive. The free breakfast was super! I highly recommend this hotel!!

Everything about the hotel was as expected, nice clean and professional. I do how every want to praise the housekeeping staff. My son left a $600 camera and other small electronics in the room when we checked out. I had little faith of having them returned. I called the hotel upon returning home and asked if they have been found. I was told a DS was […] listed but they would go look and see if there was more. Less than 10 minutes later I was informed that all items were indeed in the bag and that they would send them to me in the morning. How refreshing to have honest people around. This is a very nice mid-level hotel. The staff was helpful, for instance when we needed some extra plastic bags after our two month old daughter had a blowout. However, we made our reservation through hotels.com a half hour before arriving and they still didn't have it when we got there. Absolutely great. Everyone was so nice. Had 2 desk clerks when we checked in (don't remember their names) and they were wonderful. They made sure that we had our roll-away bed within minutes of our check-in. Breakfast was great. Well prepared and stocked, despite having many guests in their hotel. Problem with the heat/cooling system and they fixed it the next day. Close to the mall, but they warned us not to keep things in the car, so I was concerned about the gas station next door. Had no problems.

At 2 AM my hotel room phone started ringing At 4:15 somebody opened my door and tried to get in. Luckily I had it chained so they couldn’t get in The hotel told me they messed up and thought I was in a different room so it was them that was trying to get in and calling I went downstairs and got some coffee and a bite to eat. They assured me that nobody would come to my room again The maid walked in right when I got out of the shower so I was in the buff. We actually had a room that was overlooking the common breakfast area and was a dead end. There were a large number of high school athletes and it is common to have noises in the evenings due to kids in the halls before they go to bed. There were absolutely no noises. The room was an excellent location from the noise and commotion.

Very clean and friendly; all employees were very pleasant and did little things to go above and beyond. Evening hot food and drinks were a huge plus. The only downside was there was no in-room movie rentals. DEFINITELY will stay at Drury Inn again!

It was extremely convenient, right off of rt 41 and next to 70. The breakfast was good, lots of options. The hotel staff was extremely friendly. The bathroom was a little small, but it was clean. Overall I was extremely satisfied and would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

The hotel was nice, and very easy to find. The only problem that I had with the hotel was the location of our room. We were on the second floor right above the lobby and it was loud when people were down there.socializing or having breakfast.

I picked this hotel blindly through Expedia never having stayed here before. My son attends college now in Terre Haute and we headed in for late arrival after a rain-soaking bonfire. Yay the heat in our room worked well!!! The bathroom is large and well done and one of the few that gives each person two towels and had a shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner […] dispener set in the shower!! Helped us dry out in no time. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast included in our price came with hot scrambled eggs, sausages, breakfast potatoes, yougurt, waffles, doughnuts, biscuits and gravy, etc, etc. You won't leave hungry. Good location on I-70. Also had complimentary computer use for emails and boarding passes. The way to the elevator was a little confusing. I like a firmer mattress and pillow and the room we had did not have those so I didn't sleep too well. We will be back at this Drury. Read more

The hotel staff was beyond friendly and helpful. I did not take advantage to the free beverages or the dinner -- I was to busy with daughter. But did get a banana and peanut butter before the Mini- Marathon. I will stay here every time I visit Terre Haute in the next 4 years!!

We called to front desk and told them of this and they said they cleaned the room.
