Stayed here for 1 night while driving elsewhere - our second time at this location and found it to be a good choice for us. Arrived too late for the "Happy Hour", but did have a good night's sleep and really liked the full breakfast provided. Location along I-44 is very convenient, though current construction work at the interchange where you exit or […] enter makes it a bit more tricky - just follow the signs and it's ok. Front desk staff were excellent, very helpful in room assignment for us. Will definitely stay here again should the opportunity arise. Read more

We loved the location enroute to our destination, the great evening and breakfast food, and most everything about our room. But the mattress was too soft, bouncy, and my husband and I sank toward the middle of the bed. Wish this one thing could be improved upon so we could give it a perfect rating!

Location was great for us! Very helpful front desk staff. Would have liked to have had a small freezer in our refrigerator for ice packs, and lotion available in the room. We had to ask for that.

Drury offers an excellent value and this location does a great job. The hotel is well maintained and the staff is friendly. The complimentary evening food/beverages and morning breakfast are excellent. Having no need to pay and go out for dinner or breakfast at a restaurant makes this place a great value for the family.

We have stayed at this Drury Inn before, and hoped the experience would be at least the same. We weren't disappointed. The room was clean and comfortable. The property is easy to navigate with everything near at hand. The breakfast was complete with eggs, sausage, French toast, and waffles, as well as cereals, breads, and yogurt. Extremely friendly staff on every visit. Maid service very good although the first time we had no toiletries in the room. Next day we found out that they are all installed in the shower but ours had not been installed yet. This is a convenient location for highway access and you can walk to several restaurants. The only downside is that it is noisy […] during the night. The breakfast and evening snack provide you with full meals. I will say that I had to ask every time(morning and night) for cream for my coffee. The first morning the cook attempted to "use up" some milk before he would put the cream out. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Drury Inn in Joplin. Wished we could have stayed more than one night. The staff was excellent; could not have asked for better treatment. The breakfast and evening meal was great and drinks even better. We will plan on staying there again when we pass through Joplin.

Fell in love with Drury after visiting the Maryville location and the joplin location lives up to the name. Spent 2 nights there, free room upgrade. Overall experience was wonderful! We stopped here on our way to Texas from Indiana. It was nice for the kids to swim in the pool after a long day in the car. There are several good restaurants withing walking distance for dinner if you don't want the provided "snacks". The hotel is a little older, but pretty well maintained. Great place too stay. Easy on off the I-44. Pool, hottub area in great shape. Free wi-fi and food. When you think about the the money you save by not having to go out for dinner or breakfast Drury Hotels are a great value. This is a wonderful hotel to stay in. The cost is very resonable expecially since they provide the 5:30 kick backs and a great breakfast, there is no reason to eat out. That is a huge money saver for my family. The staff is polite and quick with any of the request that we made. Hotel was just ok, could have stayed somewhere else for 1/2 the price, We choose to stay here because we thought the higher price along with reviews meant it was nicer. Beds were TINY and Uncomfortable but the room was quite. The room we had did not smell of smoke but as soon as you stepped in the hall it was thick enough to take your breath away. Afternoon […] reception was entertaining at best.. Food choice was very poor, I was told they have better selection during the week. We were given 3 drink coupons per adult and had to stand in a long line for a drink each time. Dogs were everywhere, the lobby rug was full of dog hair. This is one of the best hotel chains out there I think. They serve good, basic food for breakfast and dinner for free. Unlimited soft drinks are free too. I traveled across the country and always looked for a Drury Inn. This drury seemed a little older then others, but still nice. I can see why they are building more of these.

Our stay overall was a huge success and we enjoyed it very much. We plan to stay at the same location in the future and hope that other Drury Inns have the same qualities to offer for our other trips. I did however think that the diagonal bathroom was very inconvenient and cramped.
