My stay was pleasant but fell short of being outstanding as this hotel was undergoing renovations. It's hard to know if they plan on replacing the uncomfortable mattress, or adding electrical outlets, or hopefully getting their t.v. signal fixed. We stayed for one night recently after flying in to GR. The front desk employees were very accommodating when I called to let them know we would be arriving late. We had originally reserved a room with a king bed, but received a room with two queen beds. We did not complain since we had to meet people elsewhere and could not take the time to change rooms. Next day, the maid did not re-stock coffee, new cups or sugar/stirrers, nor provide extra towels although requested. We had to find a maid cart in the morning […] to get our own. Pillows had no support -- None; hotel did not have any alternatives. Bed creaked which was annoying, but it was comfortable. PAPER THIN WALLS: First night there were horribly loud guests yelling/cussing in hallway, and in the morning it was very noisy with people slamming doors and/or bumping around their luggage. "Overpriced for what you get"
Nice hotel but everything costs extra (except for wifi). Room description said we would have a balcony but we ended up in with a Jacuzzi tub instead. When I asked the clerk for the room we were promised he said there were none available but if we would like he could put us in a room with 2 queen beds for the same price. This room was listed as $50 cheaper […] but he couldn't change the price because we had booked online. So we could pay more money for a lesser room!? Breakfast was extra. Parking was free but since it is not in the city proper it would be free at any hotel we stayed at in this area. Nice hotel but way overpriced for the location. "not a very good stay"
Not much to say good about our stay. When we were booking a room and saw a balcony room listed as one of the choices. So we got excited because we never stay anywhere that even offer that usually. When we saw our room and saw no balcony and plus it was a handicapped room, we so upset about it. We double checked our booking online but never really states […] that its a balcony type room. So I guess when you are about to book this hotel, that you might have to double check it in the options box also to make sure that you have proof of what exactly what type room you were wanting. They have a small pool and hot tub, but usually to many kids are in it all the time. Plus I think there was a few baseball kid teams staying there. The only good thing about our stay is that they have really nice towels there. I would probably never stay here again. Also there is no free breakfast here. They have an $8 breakfast buffet. We were staying for a work. My groups and I had paid for the rooms ahead of time and some how they did not have enought rooms for us. "The worst Courtyard Ever"
I spend 120+ nights a year in hotels. I generally lean towards Courtyard's whenever possible. This property though was not only the worst of the Courtyard's I've stayed at but, one of the worst hotels I've EVER stayed at. Outdated, smelled of cigarette smoke (really, in 2013?) bathrooms were WAY outdated, no refrigerator and was full of screaming kids […] and obnoxious parents. Had to call the front desk twice to get them to quiet things down. Great Location, Friendly Staff, The issues we had with the hotel is you can't get any sleep. The doors slam constantly the worst one was the side door to the outside, it slammed all night with guest entering and exiting.
