The hotel is a bit far from the center of Antigua, but not too far that cannot be walked. The room is relatively small but had all the expected amenities and then some. Nothing was missing. There was no air conditioning but the weather was so nice it was not needed. In a hot day, that may be a problem. Breakfast was just OK, a bit below par for a B&B. The OJ was not natural.

The only problem my sister and I had at this hotel were the uncomfortabel beds. That being said, I also found at other hotels the beds are not great. We did love everything about this hotel.
Location.
Conveniently near the airport in Guatemala City, Hotel Conquistador and Conference Center is close to Torre del Reformador, Teatro Nacional, and Estadio Nacional Mateo Flores. Also nearby are Francisco Marroquin University and La Aurora Zoo.

"Hotel El conquistador Guatemla"
Overall a greta place to stay at a reasonable price, The neighborhood is a bit challenging at night time since there are a couple of night clubs and they are very noisy to the point of loosing sleep due to the loud noise. Parking is also a problem, but once you are in the hotel it is very nice.

Superior service at reasonable price, all the people that work at the hotel go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Monica at at the main desk provided us with outstanding service, and I have to mention Casimiro the Clown at the Sunday Brunch made sure all the folks were happy. "Hotel Conquistador in Guatemala City was excellent"
The staff at the Hotel Conquistador was excellent and couldn't do enough for us. They went above and beyond what you would normally expect and everyone was warm and friendly. The room was very comfortable and I had the pool all to myself.

La ubicación del hotel es muy buena ya que a escasos 50 metros está la estación del Transmetro, que permite viajar en forma segura por gran parte de la ciudad de Guatemala. Queda a pocos minutos de la Zona Viva y cerca del aeropuerto. Las características y condiciones generales del hotel son buenas. No tengo ninguna queja con el servicio brindado.
