My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the Melia Corlbert. Great location across from Notre Dam but on a quiet street with no person or car traffic. Hotel staff was exceptional and helped us for both for my business and personal requirements. Highly recommend staying here as it really was a great spot.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location for a 3 star hotel"
The room and bathroom were terribly small but clean in a terrific location close to Notre Dame. The staff, though very pleasant, were unable to help with much of anything. They advertise a concierge service - but it was not provided. When we asked that the empty tissue box be replaced when maid service hadn't replenished it after 2 days, they brought […] up a used box with 3 tissues in it. This is a nice 3 star hotel - its current 4 star rating felt duplicitous. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Charm, style and great location"
We stayed the day we arrived after a 10 hour flight from the states. Our room was ready early and the staff were personable, pleasant and welcomed us with a glass of champagne! Nice touch! The hotel is very old but well done. Room we had was very large with sitting room and two bathrooms., NicelGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Once Every 30 Years...."
I stayed at the Colbert in March, 1984....my 1st grown-up holiday of my own. Came back in April, 2014. Was a nice place to stay back in the day, nicer now. Beautiful flowers in the lobby, and the desk people were all very courteous. Room was clean, fresh. Would stay there again, hopefully not in another 30 years....Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful and Charming Hotel in an ideal location"
Gorgeous exterior, wonderful service and a can't be beat location. Rooms are small and a notch below a real luxury hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, friendly staff"
Very convenient location; we were able to walk to many popular places (Notre Dame Cathedral, Louvre Museum, restaurants/shopping in Marais & Latin Quarter, etc). Front desk staff are very friendly and knowledgable. We loved it!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"my stay was great, with some minor problems ."
Maintenance team should do a better job. Check all the details, such as Remote control battery, Coffee machine, and scale.... ( all were not working )Genuine Expedia guest review
The service was fantastic, the room was larger than expected, and the location was convenient to sightseeing, shopping, and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. My wife & I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will definitely be staying there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was nice when we arrived, but terrible when I left. They were charging for more. The room was clean, but too hot!! Food was good, not excellent!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel Meilia Colbert"
I used to stay at Hotel du Pantheon, but they drastically increased their prices. So I looked for another hotel in the same area. Melia Colbert met all my expectations and hopes. Loved the hotel and location and the staff was excellent. The hotel is in the Latin Quarter, Rive Gauche, close to the river and Jardin du Luxembourg. Around the corner from […] the steps in Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Perfection in the Heart of the City"
My mother and I stayed at this hotel during our recent Paris trip and loved it! Our room was clean and well kept, with a large bathroom and view of Norte Dame. We felt that it was a good size, and while small to American standards, was quite large compared to other European hotel rooms that I've stayed in. The hotel is close to major attractions and […] about a 15 minute walk to the Lovre. It was also close to the RER line from the airport which was very convienient. The hotel staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We didn't end up eating breakfast at the hotel but there is a wonderful patisserie a block away that we enjoyed very much. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Paris! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent hotel and great customer service."
Our 5 day stay at this hotel was excellent. The hotel is located one block from Notre Dame cathedral, and walking distance to the Louvre, the Musee D'Orsay, restaurants, shopping and the Metro. The hotel is very pretty and very clean on a quiet side street. The Seine River is also a block away. We had a nice size premier room with a king bed, which […] was nicely decorated and a good in size. Antonio at the front desk was extremely nice and accommodating. He greeted us with a glass of champagne upon arrival and once in our room, a box of caramels was delivered to us. We were in Paris celebrating my birthday, and when we arrived back to our room late that night, balloons, a birthday card and 2 pieces of cake was waiting for us. The hotel staff all spoke English, Spanish and French which was very helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location and cute but not really a 4 star"
The hotel is on a very cute street perfectly situated across from Notre Dame in the Latin Quarter, but still quiet. The rooms however are quite small and not really 4 star quality. Given the price, I would expect a bit more, for example a stand up shower and higher quality bed and linens. The people are nice and the breakfast room is pleasant so no […] complaints but overpriced for what it is. Have stayed in 3 stars in same general area that were just as nice. "More like a nice 3 star hotel"
Lovely location and generally charming, but nothing exceptional about the accommodations, particularly after paying for a premium room. In fact, the room was much smaller than I had anticipated. I know this is Paris, but I don't think of this as a 4 star quality hotel. Desk staff very polite as was the rest of the staff. Though must agree that the front […] desk was not very knowledgeable about restaurants, museum exhibits, etc.. I probably would not return, nor would i particularly recommend it to friends. A great hotel in a great location, right in the Latin Quarter and close to Notre Dame. Would certainly book here again. Just a few blocks from the RER station (Saint Michel/Notre Dame) so one can take the train to and from CDG airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quiet--- close to all"
Very nice , helpful staff. Great firm beds. Need a bit more shower pressure. Many thanks for the Champagne---our 30th. Would go back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very good location"
The best part of this hotel is the location. It is a stone's throw from Notre Dame. This hotel is expensive because of the location. The room was clean but small. Breakfast is not include, but there are so many good bakeries close by. If you are arriving in a car you must park in a public garage, which is about 30 Euros per day.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed overnight in this lovely hotel. It's 2-3 short blocks from the Seine on the left bank. It is really close to everything - Notre Dame is a short walk away. However, the street was very quiet with no street noise. Service was excellent. Front desk staff very helpful. Room was spotless.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice Hotel in the Latin Quarter"
Everything about Melia Colbert was fine. The outside of the hotel is quite lovely. The location is outstanding a block from the Seine and across from Notre Dame. Which has its good points and bad -- it is an extremely touristy area; but close to the Metro as well as many cafes and restaurants. The hotel is Spanish owned and everyone who works there […] is spanish and spanish speaking. The staff all speak english and french, as well and are all very helpful. We stayed in a Premium room -- the Standard room we had booked was not ready and Beatrice who greeted us on our arrival -- pitched us a deal to take a Premium room that was available. It cost an extra $210, the room was a very nice size for a Paris hotel room. But we had no way of knowing if it was worth the extra money -- having not seen the Standard size. There is a bar located in the hotel -- but it is not really staffed -- recommend going outside the hotel for cocktails. All in all the Melia Colbert is a good place to stay in Paris. "Perfect hotel, perfect location"
The Colbert was a haven in the middle of Paris. Close to Notre Dame and in the middle of everything. We arrived in the morning, expecting to have to wait for a room. But Christian on the front desk went out of his way to find us a room quickly. We could not have been more satisfied.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location and nice hotel."
Thank you for a fabulous stay! We appreciated the modifications you made for our accommodations. The front desk service was primo and the room was nicely appointed though small in comparison, but this is Paris after all. The champagne upon arrival was a nice touch! I would highly recommend this hotel to any of our friends!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location/Hotel Staff NIce But Not Helpful"
Pros: The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to Notre Dame and other sites. Rooms are small, but comfortable enough. Cons: The hotel staff is very pleasant, but not helpful. If you ask them to help with restaurant recommendations/reservations they will only recommend the 3 restaurants down the street that are tourist traps. We wanted […] to dine with the locals, and asked three different hotel front desk staff to help us out. No luck. We also needed help with tours etc. No help provided. This is not a good hotel for English only speakers. I would not stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent, if somewhat pricey, choice"
The staff was uniformly and consistently helpful and friendly. The room was on the small side, but was, comme le disent les francais, "correcte." One quibble I have is that the computer in the small business center (actually the main common room) was more often out of, rather than in, service. This presented something of a problem. Also, towards the […] end of our stay, the main elevator went on the fritz. Not a problem for us, as the cimb was but three floors (and there is a service elevator). All in all, a hotel I would recommend enthusiastically. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"A Wonderful Hotel.......We really recommend it!!~"
What a great hotel! The staff was so helpful, Notre Dame was just 200 yards away, and the room gave us the opportunity to get really refreshed so that we could feel ready for the next day. European elevators are such a hoot.....they are the size of a small telephone booth and say that their capacity is 300 kg or 4 persons. Actually, that would only […] hold 2 Americans! "Perfect location in Paris"
My adult daughter and I spent 5 nights at the Colbert. The location in Paris is exceptional! We could see Notre Dame from our window. The staff was excellent, breakfast (although pricey) was perfect. AND, they sent me a bottle of champagne on my birthday - I assume they knew because of checking our passports at check-in.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Walk Around Winner"
Enjoyed the location and the locale. Were able to walk to so many historically significant sites, it made the getting there all that much more enjoyable. The hotel rooms are 'cozy' but functional. The breakfast had variety and style. The staff was ever-accommodating. It made our visit to Paris more enjoyable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall ok but we had a few minor issues: 1)We were told our room was ready upon check in but when we went up to our room there was a maintenance card on the door and when we entered there were two hotel employees in the room; I'm not sure why they were there. 2)the room had a bad odor when we arrived. 3)There was not an adaptor (to convert European […] to American electric plug) at the front desk. The clerk told me he had just given the last two out. This was understandable, but when I noticed a charger right on the front desk and asked if I could charge my phone for 15 minutes, I was made to feel this would be inconvenient for him. To be clear he did not refuse but I did not insist and made other arrangements. 3)The hotel told me there was free coffee in the morning. One morning I asked where it was and they told me downstairs (in the cafe). So I went downstairs and asked and they told me it was upstairs, So I went upstairs and told them what happened and they sent the coffee up to my room. So I would say that the staff is not overly helpful initially but to their credit they try to make up for this later. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Walk to notre dame and French quarter. Metro is close room is very good. Reserve your room breakfast included nice breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Everyone was very helpful and nice. The room was comfortable and quiet. The beds were a little hard for my taste but I like soft beds. "Great location for walking Paris"
Fantastic, is the only word that can be used to describe the Cobert Boutique Hotel. Great location near Notre Dame, Latin Quarter and Lourve. Nice rooms especially for Paris, very good breakfast and excellent staff. We registered for the Melia 1/2 price breakfast program and got breakfast for free for one and the other full price. "Beautiful little hotel"
I love the location of this hotel right next to Notre Dame. Some rooms have views of it as well. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. I came early for check in and they were willing to change my room (upgrade) in order to have me get into a room right away. Breakfast is very nice in the basement. The lobby is very classy. "Great hotel for family"
We loved this hotel and the city of Paris. We visited with our 7 and 9 year old children for two days and had a wonderful time. The hotel staff were very accomodating and spoke excellent English. Our room, 54, was a two room suite to accomdate our family and was more than enough room. We even received complimentary champagne and chocolates at night. […] The hotel is perfectly situated a block from Notre Dame within a few blocks of wonderful cafes. We walked from the hotel along the Seine River to the Louvre where we spent a few hours (buy tickets on-line before you leave because the ticket line was dreadful). Then we walked all the way to the Arc de Triumph along the Champs Elsyees. We can't wait to return one day. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"charming hotel with courteous, helpful staff"
We would absolutely stay at this well situated hotel that lies between two metro stops and around endless restaurants plus highly rated food stores. The staff was attentive, making several restaurant reservations for us as well as personalized breakfasts. They were always pleasant. Two minor, picky things. The hotel decor could do with updating; it […] comes across as old and in need of attention although cleanliness is in no way affected. Also, the chain is owned by a Spanish firm so the computer defaults to the Spanish Google search page and will not pick up the English. I'm also not sure that the settings include removing all the cookies on closing so I would not use the computer for anything secure or for a standard e-mail account, just an an ancillary one. We would stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Room with a view of Notre Dame"
Our family,10 of us, spent a wonderful week in Paris. The Melia Colbert was perfect for all our needs. "Perfect for a one day stay - with two nights"
We were in London and had an extra day so we did a two night and one very long day in Paris. This Hotel is perfect for seeing Paris in a day. The staff was delightful and very helpful. We started out day at 8 am and ended it at midnight and we back on the train to London at 9 am the following morning.Genuine Expedia guest review
