i've been staying at this hotel for years . it is absolutely the best. you have to go and see for yourself . you just cant describe the feeling you get when you are on the grounds . i'd be surprised if you don't feel the same way .

At check in the clerk was less than friendly. The room that was given was the very worst location at the hotel. They did not provide maid service until we called at 3pm to ask for it.

My husband &I spent the night here. Although the check in was supposed to be at 4p.m. We checked in at 2 they were very welcoming and offered a lovely room. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the cleanliness as well as the great restaurant (Morgan)a lot. We really enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend it.

La Quinta at Spring break would be great for a family with kids. I was not expecting the entire facility to be overflowing with mobs of children on loud scooters and the pools overflowing with unsupervised screaming teenagers playing Marco Polo. People got up at the crack of dawn and put towels on chairs, so there was a serious shortage of places by […] the pool. The kids had squirt guns and were doing cannon balls, etc which totally ruined my plans to escape my own children for a few days and read my kindle. I should have stayed in a 21+ hotel, like korakia. That being said, next vacation we take the kids, I'll bring the boy and his scooter and set him loose at La Quinta. The spa was really nice but my massage was short. I'm sure it was only about 45 minutes. Our room was nice, but the noise from the pool was INSANE. And you can hear the people upstairs, creaky floorboards. Beautiful landscaping. Really, I they had an ADULTS ONLY pool? I would go back. La costa has the adults only pool. It's only civilized. Read more

Only complaint was that the gardner used a "blower" at 5A and woke me up!!!! They also had a loud trashcan that rolled by early in the morning. Really?!?!Other than that it is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous gardens.

waited for 25 minutes just to check in. Another 20 minutes to get coffee at the shop in the morning because the room coffee is horrible. The internet didn't work most of the time. kids on scooters almost knocked me over about 3 times. just not worth the money.

The grounds, the layout of the property and the resort are lovely. The housekeeping needs some attention. Upon arrival there were no toiletries in the room, not all lights were working and the inroom refrigerator was empty but had the cost of items displayed but no items!just a lack of attention to the readiness of the room. My dad and I had a good time at our tennis matches, but when it was time for the hotel I felt very disappointed with the fact that even though I paid a lot of money for the room I couldn't find a parking spot close to my room surroundings. We loved this resort. The fragrance of all the flowers was amazing! We ate at Morgan's, Adobe Grill, and Twentysix and all were very good. We came for the tennis tournament at Indian Wells and really appreciated the bus to and from the event. All of the personnel were polite and helpful. We loved the grounds and the historical integrity of the resort. […] The only thing that we felt could be improved on was the bathroom in our suite. There is no shelf in the shower to put your shampoo, etc on and they did not provide a hair dryer. Also a night light would be a great addition. Puarking was quite a distance from the room. Each guest is assigned a "cassita" which is a self-contained bedroom/bathroom, & 6-8 casitas have their own pool/jacuzzi which makes it very private & ideal for those who want to "gat away & relax". The property has a great vibe to it. The setting and grounds are beautiful. It's wonderful that it's so dog friendly. All of the dogs we came across were well behaved and it was fun to see families there with their "whole" family, but you never felt overrun by them as we've felt at other resorts. The spacious grounds provide a lot of different areas […] to sit and soak it all in. There's just such a relaxing feel to it with outdoor live music in the evenings. The restaurants are good and the service was fantastic. Every employee on the property was so accommodating. Was disappointed not to be able to book a mani/pedi on a Sunday or Monday morning, but the spa facilities are very nice. The little shops on property provide almost anything you may need. The entire experience at La Quinta was fantastic. We were upgraded to a private poolside room upon check in, Played some fantastic tennis and had tasty meal on the property. We did leave to pick up some supplies at the local grocery but that was it. Very charming, private and beautiful. Highly recommend.

We could leave the dog off leash (reasonably so on our end), bring her to dining areas' outdoor patios along, and even in the pool areas (except for the 21+ pool). The "villas" are older than what is listed on website. No robes in rooms as indicated, mini fridge is "mini" enough room for a couple of drinks only, no microwave, parking is very, very limited. TV's are not HD. If you have any kind of disability, I'm not sure if they different tub/shower options. To get in and out of the shower/tub it was at least […] two feet high, no slip mat in tub and lots of rust stains. After walking through mud and water and a lot of drunk guest, to get to our room we opened door to what at first looked like a clean room. Had a great time with the kids once we were in the main pool. We tried the smaller pools but felt unwelcomed since we had our three kids and a lil buddy of my son. The eyes rolled and comments were made. But once we did our trek to the main pool, it all was forgotten. Kids had a great time!
