the hotel said there was a hot tub in the pictures and it had been cemented over cause you can see the ladder leading into the floor the pool is extreamly small I wouldnt try to fit more that 15 people in it without being uncomfortable but to my knowledge it is still the best for the area and the breakfast wasnt bad fresh waffles and sausage was tasty […] with other things to enjoy. It was clean, well maintained, and the bed was SUPER comfy! The only thing I would fault this hotel on is the lack of dining choices in the nearby area. But it was convenient to both Helen and Tallulah Falls, as well as many other places, so it made for a very enjoyable stay. =0)

The swimming pool was very warm and had stuff floating in it. The water was brownish and made you itch when you got out. It needs a refill and cleanliness. The breakfast area was not clean--goop running over in the waffle area, no coffee. BUT the room was fine.

Very disappointed in the cleanliness of this hotel, especially the public areas. . Have written to Baymont about dirty carpets in the hallways, broken TV and AC with thermostat not working properly. The response from the manager of the hotel was curt, inappropriate and incorrect. Will not be going back to this hotel.

The Staff seemed a bit disorganized, and they seemed short handed as well, as one lady was there the entire weekend, and was doing all sorts of tasks. We've stayed in this area at another hotel, but decided to give the Baymont a shot when the other changed franchises. Bad move. We arrived & were greeted by employees huddled around the front door smoking. Yuk. Smoke breaks are fine, but please don't take them at the front door of the hotel. Had 2 rooms reserved. Opened the first door -- the room […] had not been cleaned. Dirty towels were everywhere, the bathroom was a wreck, both beds unmade. AC blowing like crazy so the room temp was about 60 degrees. I was afraid to go further for fear of finding a dead body! Went across the hall to 2nd room (we'd asked for adjoining rooms when we made the reservations 2 weeks prior, but were told this was the best they could do). Attempted to call front desk -- no answer, so I had to go back down to find someone to come clean the first room. Then discovered there was no remote for the TV in the 2nd room. Phoned downstairs again & informed them of missing remote. Took the cleaning crew a half hour to clean the first room. Took them until 12:30 a.m. (almost 3 hours later) to bring a remote to the 2nd room (who's watching TV at 12:30 after a long day of travel?). Next morning, they were "out" of almost all the breakfast items at least 30 minutes prior of breakfast being over. We definitely will NOT be staying at this facility again. The Baymont Cornelia is a good choice if you are staying in the area. My wife and I stayed there over Labor Day weekend and we had a nice stay. The rooms was nice and the staff very friendly and accommendating. My only complaint is that the Baymont only offers the full complimentary breakfast (eggs, waffles, sausage,...) on the weekend and not throughout […] the rest of the week. I guess it is a way to save money and keep the room rates cheap, but it was a holiday weekend, and it would have been nice to know beforehand. Read more

The people are the most courteous and try to help you in any way possible. The rooms where great for the money although they where a little dated but very well taken care of. No bed bugs or dirty sheets clean showers and big bathrooms. flat screen tv and good breakfast.

I was assigned a non-smoking room but once I entered the room it smelled like someone had recently finished a cigarette before I walked in. The smell never went away so I imagine it was pretty well set into the carpet, furniture, etc. Overall the room was clean and I had no other complaints. Good customer service.

Hotellet hade bekväma sängar, rent och snyggt, men dålig service vid frukosten. Mjölken tog slut och det fanns ingen mer!. Man fyllde inte på när saker tog slut. Annars rent och snyggt!. Den frukposten som fanns var dock bra! Hotellet ligger bra om man nu vill till Cornelia.
