"Okay hotel. It met our needs."
It was somewhat uneven. The room was comfortable and clean. It was great to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Housekeeping was limited, minimal clean up of bathroom and coffee replacement. It was available and in a good location for our visit.Genuine Expedia guest review

It was a lot more than I thought it would be. I did not expect this great of service and a hotel for the price. Service was outstanding, from the check in to the breakfast. The staff was courteous, check in/out easy, the common areas in good condition and the room was clean. We specifically asked for a room with newer mattresses, so the beds were comfortable. My only issue was a personal one as I am allergic to feather pillows and by the time I got around to asking for replacements, there were none on hand and the desk […] clerk was the alone so could not leave her station to search for them. Be sure to ask for pillows, extra towels etc. early in the day when there's lots of staff around. My son enjoyed the pool, which though outdoors on the highway side, had adequate fencing to make it feel private. "Issues but nothing major"
Had to change rooms on first day because no phone book, phone didn't work, no wifi in room and tv remote didn't work. 2nd room had issues too but nothing major. Just a pain. We liked the room, the only complaint is that the bathroom could ahve been a foot wider without impinging on the rest of the room. My knnes hit the tub and the sided of the sink counter. The price was a bit high for the time of year,Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"You get what you pay for"
I'm 19 and I'm not one to be a critical judge on places such as this, but I must say I think it's important I write something. From the moment you walk in, it's an amazing newly renovated lobby with huge ceilings and nice decor. Once you check in and walk towards the rooms, the atmosphere COMPLETELY changes and you feel like you're in a rendition of […] "The Shining" as the hotel turns for the worst. The hallways smell strongly of old cigarettes, even though I was in the "Non-Smoking" section. Even entering the room was a challenge! After putting the key-card in the door, you had to really run into the door so it would open, followed by a loud banging sound since it kept getting caught in the door frame. The TV was old as I expected but they had some obnoxious features on it such as a music player. The player itself was fine, but if you let the songs run past the 5:00 free trial, it automatically charges your room for about 16$! Of course I only found out about this the day I checked out and it was all by mistake- Even so, there was a no refund policy. The beds were ok (Twin Doubles) but the main complaint I have is that the comforter was spewing feathers out all over the place and it was as if I was a darn chicken the three mornings I woke up. To sum it all up, I'd recommend the hotel for someone on a tight budget as it is a quality night's sleep, but you'd be better off paying the extra ~30$ a night down the street at the Holiday Inn. "Nice hotel, nice staff"
Enjoyed the breakfast...they had scrambled eggs, ham, waffle maker, cereal, fruit, etc. Hotel staff was friendly and courteous. The room was a bit chilly when we arrived (end of Dec.) but it quickly heated up. We had to pay a fee for having a small dog with us but I have no objections to that. Overall, a disappointing experience. The heat in the room was unreliable. The refrigerator was so loud that we had to unplug it so that we could sleep. We stayed three nights. The second day the room was not cleaned, so we had no clean towels and it took over an hour for towels to be delivered once we requested towels. Most of the internal fire doors were prompt open with doorstops, even though they have large signs indicating they are to remain closed. The hallways have a very sour odor. "THIS SHOULD NOT BE RATED A 3 STAR HOTEL"
When I checked into the hotel I requested a room in a quiet are of the hotel. The manager assured me he had the perfect room in a quiet section. The room was located on the first floor near lots of hallway traffic. You can hear all the noise of people walking and talking right past our paper thin front door. The manager waisted my time as my family […] and I had to lug our luggage once again and head back to the front desk and complain and request a different room. This time he gave me a room on the second floor in a quieter section. Why didn't he do that in the first place upon request??? The room was warm and the thermostat only gave off heat so I suffered being very hot through the night. The bathtub and carpet had stains and it just felt old and dirty. I cannot say enough good about the experience we had this past weekend at this hotel. My son was married on Saturday in Owego. The staff at the hotel went above an beyond to make sure our stay was a memory we would never forget. The sadness and devistation from the recent flooding that surrounded these communities in New York will forever be etched […] in our minds. Your front desk staff member Shawn suffered personal loss from this flooding and never left on he was a victim of the flooding. He was so professional and so helpful with our needs for a second room for our son and a guest that the stress was completely removed when we seen his willingness to host our family. It was not until Sunday morning at breakfast that we learned that Shawn, his wife, and 4 children had lost everything in the flooding. I commend you for hiring staff that has a true compassion for the people they are there to serve, especailly when their day or their struggles are so much more greater than those of a vacationing guest and yet they serve their guest with a smile.
