We were in Springfield for a sports tournament and spent 3 nights at the hotel. Although certainly not the newest nor most luxurious hotel around, it was very quiet, clean, had the correct amount of amenities and everything that needed to work, worked well (plumbing, lights, heater, etc.). The wireless setup was kind of offbeat, but to be expected since the corridors are all exterior and there's no central spot for a single access point. It was certainly fast enough. Didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, so can't comment on that. Staff was great and I would certainly re-book if I were ever in the area again.

Even tho I didn't spend a lot of time in my room, When I was there it was nice and quiet. There's a gas station right next door so that was good (in walking distance when weather is good).

i have stayed here 2 x's in the last two months. The room is very clean and comfortable. Very basic though but a great value. The location is quiet and somewhat close (1 mi) to several very good restaurants. I will definitely stay there again next month !

The fire alarm went off around 11:00 p.m. on our first night and we had to evacuate. We were out of our rooms for about a half hour and the alarm was false. The people ahead of us came back to the desk and told them that either someone was already in that room or it hadn't been cleaned yet. This was at 6pm. I had to make 3 trips back to the desk because we couldn't even get the door open. Was finally assigned a different room. Took the opportunity to try a different chain. No frills here, room was mostly clean and noise levels okay. No TV / Channel guide though and the shower curtain draped into the interior bottom of the tub - riddled with mildew and reeked of the same - obvious it wasn't drip drying. No soak in the tub this night. Did I mention no towels? Oh, the sign saying […] you needed to get them from the front desk must have been missing. And using the room safe (nice feature) that costs extra. Really? The bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked, and the curtains actually closed keeping the morning light out. Overall it was acceptable, but next time I'll return to my mainstay. Read more

Light bulbs were out in the room - staff addressed quickly, but housekeeping obviously pays no attention to detail. Mirrors were all streaky and water stained. The walls had something appearing to be blood or rust at the bottoms. Kinda gross. Todl staff, but they did not seem surprised or concerned.
