This was great place to stay, no screaming sring breakers. This is an adult oriented all inclusive hotel. The food was excenllent, you have to try the rotisserie chicken on the beach!

"Amazing Location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Na Balam got some underserved poor scores. The location happened to be the best location on the island (as far as beaches go), and fairly convenient to excitement of down town. The grounds were spectacular, and for such a reasonable price. Front desk and beach bar staff were not amazing, but not bad either. They could do some training on customer service in order to make it a more magical experience, but all in all, it was acceptable service.

El Agave - Wood beams, vaulted ceilings, stone columns, pastel walls, and table linens create a pretty, rustic Mexican atmosphere. El Agave serves both buffet and à la carte breakfasts and lunches and à la carte dinners. On Sundays, there is a brunch.
El Patio - This spot next to the pool serves lunches of light foods like ceviche and hamburgers and offers terrace seating under white umbrellas.
Lobby Bar - For a more casual experience, El Agave's menu can be enjoyed here.

Also known as El Centro, Cancun Downtown is where locals live and shop. Plaza las Americas is an American-style shopping center with large department stores and small specialty shops. Mercado Veintiocho (Market 28), an open-air flea market, is an alternative to the chain shops. Tourists often venture into area supermarkets for souvenirs and liquor. Plaza de Toros features weekly bullfighting.

We needed a hotel for an overnight stay when traveling on from Mexico. This was a very nice hotel away from the tourist crowds and very affordable for the amenities. It has a great pool, bar and rooms with balconies. The exchange rates were also quite fair and they negotiated lower taxi fares for us.

"convenient location and excellence in service"
Radisson Hotel is a great hotel, conveniently located in downtown Cancun. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good bargain.
"Excellence in simplicity"
This is the second time I stayed at the hotel. I chose it because of its central location in Cancun downtown. It is near the central bus depot ADO, supermarkets, and wonderful restaurants that are frequented by locals. The service is excellent, the staff is courteous and they even accommodated my need to use their computer when my husband lost his glasses […] at the beach and I needed to make a doctor's appointment for him. The hotel has free wi-fi though. If you have your own laptop or phone that allows for internet browsing, you are set. Read more

"Radisson Cancun - Saftisfactory"
The Radisson Hotel Hacienda, downtown Cancun is a very avergae but satisfactory hotel. There is almost nothing special about the hotel, but not much really wrong either. It's walking distance from the bus station, and there was always a taxi outside when I needed one. The room was clean with all necessities but nothing above and beyond (iron, small […] TV, basic toiletries - but don't expect a robe). The internet in the business centre was offline, but the wifi was working in the lobby, if you have a device of your own. The staff were friendly, and most have basic English if you need them to. If you know downtown Cancun then you'll know it's less than anything special itself and the hotel was a welcome reprieve. If you're passing through like I was, or have business here and want somewhere comfortable to stay for a night or two at a reasonable price then this will suit you fine. If you'd like somewhere to form part of a holiday then there are much nicer places in the hotel zone to enjoy yourself. Read more
"Depends what you are looking for"
I chose this hotel as a place to crash while i got over jet lag. Its a little out of the central part of Cancun so reasonably quiet, its clean, safe and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Its also pretty cheap compared to the Hotel Zonera where beach front options can be expensive. The hotel restaurant offers a limited range but its fine, no […] gourmet dining by any means but if you are just using this place as a staging point for further adventures around the Yucatan its ok. If you want beach front this is NOT your place. However they do have a shuttle to get you there if you are on a budget. It served my purposes and I was happy with my stay. Read more

"find another"
Hotel was too far from where pEople move. Residential area? Quite pricy and restaurant is a trap, not much choices! Quite a walk to the main road.. Didn't live up to the Radisson brand.

"Super Stadthotel"
