hotel ambience was very low budget, but clean. way overpriced due to lack of enough hotels in Corvalis to handle demand. surprisingly good cable tv selection. location good downtown, and by river. ok for sleeping but not hanging out.

Only needed to sleep after watching boys State basketball tournament but did not appreciate running over the beer bottle in the parking lot. This was a bare bones hotel. No effort at all made to upkeep this hotel. The blankets on the bed were so old and gross that we never got underneath the sheets. We slept fully clothed and on top of blankets and pillows we brought from home. Really gross.

The room was neat, but I could smell previous occupants. Lots of road noise, but nothing from my fellow travelers. Breakfast was tiny, choice was poor, quality poor. Rates were cheap. The motel was terrible...Nothing worked.. The heater took 4 hours to warm the room. There was no fan in the bathroom, and th Microwave didn't work. We left a 6;30 in the morning and no one was there to check out. And no coffee or any breakfast. and you couldn't call them on the phone because no one answered..Don't go there.....

This was a lower priced hotel but you got what you paid for. The tiolet required fiddling with every time it was flushed or it would just keep running. The grout in the shower was nasty. The "breakfast" was a plain donut and some bad coffee. Also the wi-fi didn't work for most of evening.

If you book a hotel on a weekend when Oregon State plays a home football game, you will overpay. This hotel is clean and safe, but is nowhere near the quality of a room I would expect for the price. My advice is to book a hotel in nearby Albany if you're in Corvallis on a football weekend.

I was not allowed to book a Friday night stay unless I also paid for Saturday regardless of my plans to leave town on Saturday morning ("It's our policy, no exceptions"). Lobby is across the parking lot from the rooms and I had to cross the parking lot in the rain to get breakfast. The hotel is old, drafty and unsecured. Entrance doors do not shut, causing drafts to flow down the hallway. Room smelled fresh, linens appeared clean, but the bed cover was stained and old. The pillows were flat. Upkeep of this older building involves "rigging" things to work. This hotel is located between 2 major commuter thoroughfares, so be prepared to wake up at rush hour when the trucks come barreling over the bridge. Read more

The location of this hotel is great. Close to campus (we have a daughter at the university) and to downtown. But yuck! The second floor room I had was spacious and clean but due to the road noise I was not able to keep the window open. The heat/ac unit worked well and was not too noisy. It was perfect for a one night stay and close to eating and shopping areas so I could walk. The foreign born staff was OK but did not go out of their way to get to you quickly.

It is roomy and comfortable for my one night stay. The only complaint I have is there is no hairdryer. Breakfast is ok just like others. I don't particularly like eating sweet stuffs for my breakfast, so my choice is limited. Although it is conveniently close to OSU, it is 10 miles away from highway 5 - good for students but not for travelers.

For breakfast you could get a cherry danish or a blueberry muffin. Not much of a choice and at 8 am only had 2 danish left. The room was ok but nothing to write home about. I will go back to Super 8 next time.

Our two rooms were clean and functional. The location is close to several restaurants and the Wilamette River Walk in Corvallis. We didn't eat there but I heard from Corvallis residents that the on-site Chinese restaurant (owned by a third party) is one of the best in town!

Room was clean until you looked into the shower. Then I was disappointed to note that there was quite a bit of mold/mildew in the grout on the shower walls. It definitely put a sour note on our stay. The hotel was inexpensive, but I do expect cleanliness, no matter how simple or fancy the room!
