Skyway Inn SeaTac - SeaTac

Skyway had the cheapest prices when I was looking to stay in the area. It wasn't anything special, but I got exactly what I paid for: a place to sleep. If I go back to the Seattle area I'd probably stay there again just based on the price.

One really nice feature: the water pressure and temperature in the shower were great; often it's too weak. Cheap hotel but no major problems, and convenient to Seatac.

The hotel was run down and I actually looked for bed bugs. There was mold on the shower head and the bedskirt on one of the beds was torn and hanging down. The beds were horrible. I enjoyed my stay at this motel. There was 1 incident that worried me a little. We had a man knocking on our door and window at midnight, looking for his girlfriend. He was later arrested. I was pleased that I could book this room at a low last minute rate and that it was fairly close to the airport for my early flight. Other than that I was very displeased with my choice. The beds were too hard to sleep comfortably on and the bedding was so lacking that comfortable sleep never occurred. The lamps in the room did not work and the sink […] did not drain. The hotel also rents parking space for the airport and so there is little to no parking space at all available for your car. I chose to check out early and go to the airport instead.... I will not cheap out on hotel expense ever again. Trying to save money was NOT worth it. My receipt said paid in full but when I checked in I was charged an additional $6.50 for some sort of airport tax ? I do not understand why my bill from Hotes.com did not include this tax? Or maybe the Hotel is just adding a tax charge for their benefit.

Initially put me on the third floor in a blocked corridor. Had to take the elevator down and across a parking lot 2x because the key wouldn't unlock the door. After the 2nd trip, I demanded a first floor room. The front desk clerk was helpful. This hotel has very poor lighting in the outside corridors and has alot of blocked areas. The building is a bit old, but my room was very clean and comfy. I've read a bunch of reviews mentioning bedbugs, but I don't think I had that problem. It was fine. Good value for what you pay for. Close to airport. Comfortable bed. Good water ppressure. Close to coffee shops, diner down the street was good, Dave's, and front desk staff was nice. Plenty of parking and shuttle was easy and fast service.

Some minor issues. They also run a parking and shuttle service for the airport, it can cause delay with leaving in the morning. The shower water valve did not did not work correctly.

The walls seemed really thin. We could hear the people next door talking all night. Also the door didn't really close and seal like it should have. Sounded like we were sleeping in the parking lot. It was clean and the room was decent just not the best sleeping conditions.

Hotel is old and it shows. ok for a bed to sleep in while passing thru SeaTac but that's it. Airport shuttle is convenient and there are some good places to eat but I'll stay somewhere else next time.

I got the jacuzzi room, which is actually a jetted 2 person tub but that's close enough for me. My favorite part is the friendly and helpful, but non intrusive staff. Much better than hotel chains I have stayed at before. They don't get all a**l about everything at check in like other hotels do such as a deposit or credit vs debit card. the thing that bothered me the most was people all night walking around the fronts of the doors, people yelling to their friends from upstairs, there was really no peace even during the mornings the maids and staff were obnoxious and loud. Night staff was much better.

I was in town to bury my father. After spending $800.00 plus on 2 airline tickets I just wanted a safe place to lay my head at the end of the day. Due to the nature of my visit I wasn't looking for a lot of frills. As I look back though shuttle to and from Inn to airport and continental breakfast was just enough frill for me. I was accommodated with […] an early check-in which I needed to leave my bags and attend the service. The Employees were genuinely willing to help all so very friendly. As a FAMILY we were able to arrange a full military service for my dad, second to that staying at this particular establishment was my second favorite experience.
