I stayed there on May 24th and I simply hated it. I woke up every other hour at night because the way their room doors are made is very cheap and makes a loud bang noise everytime it shuts. Our neighbors repeatedly open/closed their door the whole night and the front desk (morning person) seemed least responsible when I told them how disturding it was […] the whole night . Not only that at the time of check out she seemed least bothered about customers and did not care to ask about the stay. I will have to rethink before I consider Hampton Inns from now on!!! Your room was quit and very comfortable. I slept better here than at home. In the morning, I was concerned as I hate to eat gluten free, but you aced that category too. All in all I was very happy and comfortable. I will stay at other Hampton Inn's during my travels.

We were there for a funeral, so we were not out of our rooms early to sight-see or anything of that nature. We did not leave our rooms until about 2pm, and room service did not show up at all 2 days in a row. I think they could have checked back at least once in the afternoon. Otherwise, nice hotel and decent amenities.

The hotel was nice, as most Hampton's are, but our room was lacking a little in the housekeeping department. When we arrived I noticed our room was poorly swept and there was trash on the floor between the night stand and the bed. When we got ready to go to bed we found that one of the beds was missing a fitted sheet. The person from the front desk […] came right up and made the bed. He said they did have some new people on their housekeeping staff that were still learning, which is understandable, but they should have their trainer review the rooms before a guest checks into a room a newer person has cleaned. No queen beds? What the heck? The standard beds were bouncy and not supportive. The outside rim of the mattress was spongy. Pool was fairly clean but not heated. Front desk clerk brought us towels. The smell of cigarettes was over powering from the moment we walked in the door. Even our "smoke free" room was sooo smokey. Way over priced for what you get. I've stayed I much nicer places that were half the price. If you're like us and just need a place stay on you way to you final destination, I would keep driving!

When I arrived they had me scheduled to move to another hotel, due to storms that had taken place the month before our room was unavailable, but they were going to comp my room. I guess that would have been fine but the hotel we were to move to could not accomidate the amount of people I had. They were the smoking rooms that had not been used in a while which stunk awful and the water ran brown until it ran for a while from being unused. Positives: This hotel tried really hard to make it a pleasant stay. The best things were the fresh snacks in the lobby each night and the thoughtful pre-bagged breakfast kits available in the am. The room was somewhat on the small side and the staff didn't […] even bother to make our bed the first day. The major problem was the slamming doors! The room doors slammed so loudly that it sounded like a starter's pistol going off. Kept us awake, woke us up in the middle of the night and first thing in the am. Of course it was rude guests who slammed the doors, but the hotel needs to put closures on them or something to dampen the sound. This building is in need of new mattresses. They're quite worn and encourage joint pain. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the point of a hotel room is to provide a comfortable place to rest while away from home, so three is the best rating I can give.

I was quite surprised there was not a mini fridge in the room. I prefer Hampton Inn Hotels and have stayed at many and they have always had mini fridge in the room. Other than that it was clean and comfortable. I will also only stay at a hotel that changes the comforter/duvet cover with each guest. I love Hampton Inn hotels

This is a report on two stays at this Hampton Inn. As usual with Hamptons, the room felt rich and solid, the beds were excellent, and the walls were well soundproofed. We had gone to a concert so didn't arrive until early in the morning. The room had an awful mildewy smell especially in the bathroom. The air conditioner didn't work well. The elevators looked like they had not been cleaned in awhile. The staff was fine and the breakfast good.

Arriving at 2am, the staff was very helpful. Room was clean, safe area just off interstate 64/77. Complementary Breakfast ok. Will make this my Beckley hotel for visits.

Very nice new hotel. Great breakfast. Bathroom does not have exhaust fan. Good coffee ready all the time. Steakhouse next door is sloppy, dirty.

Hotel is great. Very nice pool. water was clean. Rooms seemed like new and they even had popcorn and cookies in the lobby in the eveing. Breakfast buffet was one of the best i've had.
