It's in a great location! We walked to most of the city/touristy sites from hotel. There is a metro stop 1 block away from hotel. The area is safe and clean. No concerns walking late at night. Plenty options for food, bars, shopping, convenient stores, etc. It's supposed to be the largest hotel in Toronto, so there are pluses/cons to being that big. […] Pros: The front desk is open 24/7, 4 restaurants on site, many tours pick you up at hotel, taxis always ready outside, comfy beds, good water pressure, clean rooms, plenty of staff and they always seemed eager to help. Cons: lotsa people means the place can get loud. You will hear the newly weds next door, the college boys getting excited about hitting the town, and the crying toddler. It wasn't horrible or didn't last too long but loud enough to wake me up. It isn't the hotels fault but maybe more sound proof walls/doors. Take advil pm to be on the safe side. We like to try local stuff so we asked where we could get nanaimo bars and other suggestions for local options. The 1st concierge not too helpful. She hadn't even heard of nanaimo bars and sent us to Panera Bread. We did go back to concierge 2 more times and they were great! They gave us suggestions for hitting fun/lively areas, free performances/concerts, and good eats. If you're going to hit me up with a Destination Marketing Program charge, then all front desk/concierge should be ready to promote Toronto/Canada. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Staff was great. Hotel room was nice except for bathroom. It was way to small and dirty.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Bathroom had a musty, moldy odor during my stay"
The bathroom surfaces appeared clean but there was a foul, moldy odor that permeated the entire bathroom area. The hotel clerk requested my credit card for $250 in incidentals even though I was prepaid Upon checkout, I had no incidentials but the clerk would not provide a $0 balance credit card receipt. "Great location but not so great rooms"
Room was small and not as clean as I would hope it would be. The perk is the room came with a balcony and a view of downtown. It was walking distance to things in the area. But I doubt I would stay in this hotel again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"definitely not a first option"
Don't make this your first option, 3 out of 6 elevators working at our tower, desk service a bit slow, $29 a night parking not included in your fees, additional fee to use average/below average facilities. I'm only giving this hotel a 3 strictly because of location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was very disappointed of the cleaning of the room. They did a good job in the lobby, but the room needs to be update. The carpet needs to be replaced.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location near many interesting sites."
Stayed at Eaton Chelsea for 5 nights during our Toronto family vacation. Arrived very early and checked our bags with the porter. We were told that we would have two adjoining rooms for our family. Came back at 2:45 (check in time is 3), and only one room was ready, but it was not an adjoining room as we had been told. The one room that was ready was […] right near the elevator and the second room was going to be down the hall. Asked for a room away from the elevator (based on reading other visitor reviews). Had to wait another two hours to check in. Didn't get adjoining rooms as we were told, but we did get rooms next to each other. Only other "negative" is that on one night of our stay, our room neighbors were extremely loud. They were obviously young adults who went out to one of the many clubs in Toronto and this really wasn't the hotel's fault. Now, for the good stuff. We had no issue with the elevators. We had to wait for a few minutes, once in a while, but we were always able to get where we needed to go with little delay. Our rooms were cleaned each day in the morning. We never had to call room service for any problems. The beds were very comfortable. The pool and work out room was great. The view from the 27th floor is awesome at night. The restaurants are convenient and there is something for everyone. The concierge desk is very helpful with any visitor request. The lobby looks modern and clean. Would stay here again. Pretty good deal for Toronto, but not really in a good section of Yonge st, but very close to most things. The concierge gave awesome restaurant recommendations. Inside is a little dated and elevators are very crowded especially around check out timeGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location But Over-Price"
My stay at this hotel was okay, I felt that the hotel is over-price. There is nothing special about this hotel, the Interior was very old and needs to be updated, the bedding seems to be staled with a few rust stain. As for the location, it can't be beat! This hotel is in a great location, not far from Eaton Mall, and the vast array of restaurants and […] shops, close to the subway and not far from the diverse area of the Village. "Not sure if it is a 4 star hotel"
Hotel rooms are very dated - not at the standard I would expect for a 4 star hotel. Amenities are nice, kids loved the pool and the waterslide. Location is optimal. Got a good deal on the rate, but I discovered why it was relatively cheap compared to nearby 4 star options.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great for most, not my style"
Not a complaint, it was run smoothly, very clean, staff wonderful. If you like a big hotel, you will love it. I will say that I did enjoy using the pool, the locker room and showers were unusually nice. For me though, it was a bit too mainstream. Food, as in all large hotels, was very overpriced, I just don't love being in the large controlled environment. […] Next time I will look for something smaller and simpler, maybe near Chinatown or Kensington Market. I enjoy being near smaller scale restaurants, cafes, and ethnic neighborhoods. Again, though, if you do love the big hotel experience it's extremely clean and well run, Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"horrible to stay"
Families should not try this one in 2013 at least. Paint smell is everywhere. Room and pool need more clean work on them. my room's table even is a damaged one. I drove from NJ to Toronto and tried Ramada in Ithaca, Hilton in Niagara falls, Adam Marks in buffalo and Eaton Chelsea in Toronto. Eaton Chelsea is the worst one. "Stay was mostly great"
I would say that for the most part, our stay was just fine - not great but fine. The location is great - we never used our car but walked and used the subway. The hotel lobby is bustling with helpful staff. Our room was sad and in need of a major upgrade. The bed looked promising but was not comfortable. The bathroom had cracked tile and the grout in […] the shower needed to be replaced. My biggest complaints were the parking charges - $29 plus tax a day for self park and $39 plus tax but valet so keep that in mind. I wanted to do a simple 5 minute internet search and the three computers in the lobby wanted to charge me $5-10! I didn't have cell service since we were from the U.S. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location, but tired and worn."
I stayed in this hotel many times years ago. It boasts a great location, but not much more. The rooms are small, worn and kind of depressing. Upgraded rooms were the same , just a little bigger. I can see why it isn't a Delta anymore. Asked for a fridge which they did deliver, but it was dirty. Elevators were very old. Will not return.Genuine Expedia guest review
Nice hotel near strip in Toronto, would stay again.Genuine Expedia guest review
We stayed here for one night as we wanted to go to a Blue Jays game. It was about a half hour walk to the stadium. It was very easy and nice seeing the city. Parking was convenient ($29 per day). The staff was very nice and very helpful. Our room had a balcony that had a great view of the city. No complaints.Genuine Expedia guest review
The staff we're very helpful in helping with reservations and directions.Genuine Expedia guest review
Other than having to flush the toilet at least 3 times to get it "clean" the stay was fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel in the city"
We arrived long before our reservation. When I walked in, I was promptly greeted. Unfortunately the hotel sold out the night before, so there was no early check in that morning. When we did return, our room was ready. We were told how to get there (there are two sets of elevators and they did tell us which one to use to get to our room). The room was […] spotless, and the same size as any king size hotel room. I'm not sure what the other reviewers had, but I can verify the king size room was a great size for two. The Monarch Pub downstairs was a party in the hotel! The lobby was great. I don't have anything bad to say about the Eaton Chelsea or the staff. I'll be heading back there the next time I'm in Toronto. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect location for fun"
Perfect location if you want a hotel right in the center of all the action in Toronto. Our room was very nice and clean. I think housekeeping missed giving us a hotel guide, which we could have used to tell us the check out times and room service menu. We had also hung our room service breakfast order on the room doorknob the night before and they missed […] our order, so I had to call it in. Not a big deal because they did rush our order right up to us and the brioche French toast was very good. I would stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great for 1st time in Toronto"
For some in our 2-room party, it was their first time in Toronto. It was easy to enjoy restaurants, stores, and city scenes on Yonge Street. Outdoor hotel courtyard was delightful and restful at the end of our stay - nice to get a drink/snack at the cafeteria and go outdoors, very pleasant. The hotel is comfortable, and it seems well-organized despite […] its size. The adult only pool and balcony on the 27th floor was terrific. Though not our time of life with young kids any longer, we though it was a bonus that kids and families had a pool of their own. I would readily recommend this hotel; it was a treat for all four of us. The only issue we had was that we had wished to have our two rooms close by, but they were 13 floors apart - perhaps we didn't make it clear. We would all return given the chance to visit Toronto again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Beautiful place, staff could not have bee nicer."
Had an awesome time at the hotel. Room was great. Staff were MOST helpful. We stayed for 3 days and even though the staff changed, the friendly atmosphere was constant. Cafeteria style restaurant was expensive for what you get. Would suggest other places outside the hotel for breakfast. Overall, would stay there again without a second thought.Genuine Expedia guest review
"nice hotel, right in the middle of everything!"
Stayed in toronto for the weekend. very comfy hotel and great cityGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel hallways were filthy, the outside was under renovation, the rooms were small and the line ups at the desk long. Parking was ridiculously priced and the valet service never bothered to even ask if I wanted my bags loaded. The price indicates a quality hotel but it was anything but, I would never recommend it or stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My only issue with the hotel was the noise related to all the kids staying at the hotel. Not the hotel's fault, but rather the parents who let the kids roam the halls at 3 am in the morning.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel near the center of everything."
The hotel is as centrally located to the downtown core as it could be. The hotel interior is well decorated, perfumed, and is visibly well staffed. The lobby is perpetually popular, which isn't a bad thing as the staff is quite capable and it makes the hotel feel 'alive' with energy and people at all times of the day. I docked a point for several elevators […] being out of service, but overall the hotel was in great shape. The cleaning staff did an excellent job and were quite consistent and never forgot to restock any of the amenities. One highlight of the hotel is go to the 27th floor and sit on the balcony and look over the city from a very high vantage point. The hotel, in sum, exceeded my expectations in nearly every way. "Good Basic Product"
The check in was great, friendly. I arrived late evening. The hotel has an excellent food court integrated into the lobby area. You can get quality food items (late) and healthy drinks and snacks without having to walk outside. I liked that feature for late arrival. The room was 1980s and felt dated. The bathroom and shower needed updating as well. […] Still, the price was right, the hotel and room were clean and neat and it met the requirements for a one day stay. It was quiet as well. The AC unit and controls were old and and in need of updating. Overall, for the price and what was promised on the internet it met or exceeded expectation. I would use this again for a quick business stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"lots of renovation!!!!!"
Plus: the staff are friendly and its very kids friendly, they have a babysitting service and slide for kids. How awesome is that? The location is also top-notch, you can't get any closer to Toronto and everything you want to see in Toronto is pretty much within walking distance. Downside: daily maid service usually don't get to our room til 1-4 pm […] in the afternoon, that's our usual nap time. We stayed in lots of hotels before and that's pretty late. So we usually just passed on the daily maid service unless we needed some clean up. My husband also hated the bed!! its only a double size so he really detest the size of it. He would have liked having a small refrigerator in the room and there were lots of renovations going on which is really needed. We got one of the older rooms and its really showing its age with a leak and door that doesn't open all the way. But its on one of the top floors and the view is pretty decent! We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and used the fitness center as well as ate at the restaurants. The food was ok but just the fact that the hotel had so much to offer was a real bonus. "Constant Noise, Small Room"
Our standard queen room was small, but adequately clean. This hotel is in a great location within walking distance of many shops and restaurants, but the location did not make up for an otherwise very poor experience. When we arrived in our room, we heard noisy construction directly overhead. I spoke with the front desk, who said the work would be ending […] at 5pm, but offered no apology or option to change rooms. The noise made it impossible to stay in the room, so we left early for dinner. The next morning, an alarm clock across the hall went off at 5am and continued ringing for 2 hours. Then at 8am, the construction noise started again, directly overhead. No chance of a peaceful rest during our stay! We had considered adding another night, but after that terrible experience, checked out and didn't look back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
