This is a nice hotel centrally located. It is not in the middle of things, but most things are a short walk away or a short ride on the metro which is about a block away. The facilities are nice, and some of the rooms have a nice view. The water pressure is a little low at the top floors of the hotel.

The room was HUGE, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was larger than the one I have at home. The staff was very nice and spoke English well. They gave us a recommendation for a restaurant that was family friendly that we also enjoyed. We loved the pool area and the "gym" area had plenty of equipment and TV's.

The staff were very friendly and informed about the area but our room was dirty. The toilet ran continuously, the remote didn't work and the beds were not made 2 night in a row even after complaining the first night. The bath mats had bacteria growing on them and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was far below average. The location was excellent.

The hotel is very well located in Montreal. The premium room was nicely sized, but had a very old carpet, which had numerous bunches. These could have been dangerous for tripping, etc. I've never seen this in a quality hotel. If the carpets were replaced it would be a big improvement.

Reviewed by L of Ireland on Jul 28, 2009
We were very impressed by the Delta Montreal. We received a very warm welcome and treated like VIP's on arrival. We didn't have to wait, one member of staff waiting and greeting guests came straight around the desk to check us in when I enquired about check-in. When you book a standard room you, or at least, we, don't expect any special treatment, they way we were greeted and the room we were given really couldn't have been better. It was MUCH more than we expected. Hotel is near to the Eaton Centre, with shops, restaurants, cinemas and nightlife nearby, most of the tourist attractions are with-in walking distance, if you don't mind walking, metro is close by and easy to use. Hotel was lovely, friendly, clean and comfortable which was all we aimed for. Although, as already said we got much more than we expected. They have free internet access in the lobby for guests to use in the business centre. Not sure about parking because we only picked up the car on leaving. Overall, we were very happy with the Delta Montreal and I would recommend it to other travellers.

We have been traveling to Montreal for the Jazz Festival for over 15yrs. This is the first time we stayed at the Delta on President Kennedy. The location was great, a short walk to the festival. Hotel staff was very friendly and customer oriented. Bed was comfortable with nice linen, towels were also nice soft, thick 100% thirsty cotton. The bathroom could use some updated lighting and I missed have a small refrig. in the room. We will certainly keep this hotel on our list when we go to Montreal!

Overall the Delta Montreal met my expectations and I left feel satisfied with my stay. We stayed in a "superior club room" on the 21st floor. The king size bed was very comfortable. The atmosphere was pleasent and clean. The only downfall I experienced was the room key card while using the elevator and entering our hotel room. To access floors 21 and above you need to swipe your room key card. It took us multiple times to get the card to work and we ended up going up and down the elevator while others came on to access floors 21 and below. Also, only one of our room key cards worked to open our room door. The service was great. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Friendly staff. The pool is a bit small, but the kids have fun nonetheless. Only complaint is the sheets did not fit the bed. We had to be sure the were tucked in properly before going to bed, because the first night the bottom sheet - which is really just a top sheet, came completely out and we were basically sleeping on the mattress.

We had a good stay. The hotel has a convienent downtown location. The room was comfortable. This is a business class hotel so the decor is not charming, but practical. There is a work out facility with pool and squash courts. My favorite part was the hotel spa: One hour massage for $78 canadian! The other services were reasonably priced for a hotel spa as well. My only complaint is that we could here everything going on in the hallway in the mornings (only a problem because we were on vacation and sleeping in late). Overall would return.

The room is beautiful, contemporary and spacious. And it has a balcony that overlooks the neighborhood. The only thing that prevents me from giving it a rave review is that I got bug bites all over my arms and neck on the first night. I talked to the housekeeping manager and she had all the bedsheets changed and room sanitized with bug spray. No bug problem after that.

Overall an ok hotel but too many niggles to make it worthwhile. The heating unit in the room was ridiculously noisy, which woke me up every night. The door to the balcony didn't work; not that this mattered as it was a very grotty looking balcony. The toilet in the bathroom was in an unlit alcove for some reason. Due to snow outdoors the reception area got very muddy and slippery due to people dragging in snow and slush. The floors were only cleaned once a day, so it looked like a sty. I got charged a fortune for a 9 minute call to my bank to make sure my account was ok, as the hotel ATM refused to give out any cash - eventually it turned out it was just the ATM not working properly. Definitely not worth it

My husband and I stayed here for a night and it was okay;I have stayed at other hotels in which the value and experience was much better. It was clean, we didn't notice anything that was dirty. The staff was nice, however I have to say that there is nothing about the customer service that "wowed" me.... they answered my questions okay, but soon after I walked away, they would speak amongst themselves and stare. Not sure what that was about-- cultural thing maybe? Eh! It was a short walk from the underground shopping center- so that was a plus and there were eateries nearby as well. One thing I do warn you about- Do not order room service!!! Too expensive and crappy! We ordered a few drinks and when we received them, they tasted like water and the mix.... no alcohol. (Got a tummy ache!) We called and returned the drinks, and they came back and still tasted crappy.... Needless to say we spent about $40 or more on these crappy drinks. We didn't drink them! Waste of money.

Two of my friends and I went to Montreal for a long weekend and I must say that this hotel is fabulous! The room is very large and clean. Beds were comfortable, bathroom is roomy and always clean. The place is also a 15 minute walk to old montreal. Or if you don't want to walk, the metro is right across the street. Parking in the hotel is pricey, but I think is worth it anyway because your car is safe in the garage. I can't find any complaints about this place! I definitely recommend staying here.
