Very Comfortable beds, lots of pillows, nice darkening curtains, great view. Room was cleaned well and yet our things weren't touched. The Bob Evans restaurant is next door, we walked across the parking lot, and had great food. The diner across the street did not. I was able to use the computer in the lobby to print out coupons to go to Hershey Chocolate […] Factory 10 miles away. They had free WIFI, but its not on the website as a feature so we almost didn't bring the laptop. Great shower! Not giving a 5 rating because some of the walls were marked up in the room and halls and the covers on the throw pillows were tattered and the task chair in our room had a large hole in the arm. Had to get different room as TV did not work in 1st one. Bedspreads looked as if they ha not been cleaned in a long while. Even outer sheets looked they were not that white. Overall it was disappointing for a Wyndham hotel and I would not book this again.

Frequent Harrisburg for work and always a pleasure staying at this Wyndham location however my shower head was broken, didn't say anything till the night before i was checking out....maintenance fix it right away! Manager..forgot her name, ALWAYS extremely helpful even with a voice this trip...from her cold. : ) oh yeah! We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay while we went to Hershey Park. Wyndham Garden Hotel Harrisburg-Hershey was close and not too expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful in directing us to some nice restaurants. We also thought the rooms were very comfortable. It met all our expectations.

The motel was charming. The rooms spacious and clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The elevators were slow, but kinda added to the charm. None of the ice machines worked on any of the floors and from prior reviews have not been working for a while. Other than that the stay was wonderful!

Everythng was good with the room, but other guest were very loud next door and above.Kept us up until 2:00 trying to sleep. I almost call the desk to complain. We also had some smoking in the room next door. We could smell it.

Room HVAC unit was noisy and poorly fit in the wall - cold air came in around it on both sides - used a towel to stop the air. Room rate was very good.

The hotel does not have any in-house restaurant or room service. It seems to getting ready for a round of renovation possibly. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and tried to do the best. But clearly the hotel gave the look of being old and worn out. The heating system was in need of replacement. The linen was oldish. The elevator is dirty. The […] walls are not sound proof. Michelle, i think she is the manager was awesome and professional during the time when i was checking in~~overall stay, a pleasant one. No breakfast is not a big deal~~plenty of fast food around. Great rate for the hotel and its amenities.....i will be back again in Jan. 2013.................

The hotel accommodated my special requests, the room was clean, and the staff was friendly and considerate. It was easy to find and offered convenient access to Harrisburg AND Hershey. I stayed there because I was going to see Dr. David Jeremiah speak at the Giant Center in Hershey--a 20-minute drive. The Hershey Outlets are nearby, too.

The service was horrible. I have never waited at a front desk as long as I did here. My shower in the morning was cold and the coffee maker did not work. The ceiling in the foyer on my floor was water stained and the paint was peeling. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The staff was fantastic -friendly, courteoous and outgoing. The facillity needed work however. We were there for 3 days and ALL the ice machines were out of order. They had been for a few days. The only option was to go down to the lobby (we were on 6th floor) and get it from the coffee/bar counter, which was often busy and rquired a wait. There were […] two elevators but only one was in service. Our room was nicely appointed and clean but the floor under the carpet was very uneven. Rooms have been remodeled, are clean, and comfortable. Check in part of the lobby, the area around the elevator, and the elevator itself are badly in need of a face lift becuse they leave the first impression that the hotel is a 'dump'.

This is a very tired hotel that needs a lot of upgrades. Very slow elevators, ice machines not working on most floors, slow draining bathroom sink, worn out carpeting, and a very loud air conditioner. With just a little work this hotel could be great but it is in desperate need of a makeover. It was hard to locate being on a side-street and not well lit. We arrived at the same time as a large bus of foreign guests and the hotel still checked us in quickly and with no fuss. The room was adequate but was obviously on it's last legs as far as some of […] the furnishings were concerned. The carpets were particularly disgusting. The beds were clean and comfortable and there were plenty of clean towels. The tiles were crumbling off around the shower. The door to the bathroom wouldn't stay open and the door to the room wouldn't stay closed unless you made sure it was properly latched. The "free" breakfast was devoured by the foreign guests and it was obvious that the staff wasn't prepared for that many guests eating all at once. Overall this hotel was quite underwhelming.
